2nd visit in 2 years on holiday from uk. Great pub. Good selection of beer and excellent food. Outdoor TV and plenty of seating. Very friendly staff. Chicken snitzel, ribs delicious. Garlic prawns the best ever. Food portions are huge and good value for money. Never have any of us had a bad meal. Dirty birdie and cordon blu this time. All delicious.

We didn't expect to find a pub/restaurant like this in such a small town.

Brilliant atmosphere, food was great but not the best although the portion size was huge so you won't be going home hungry and the menu is fairly adventurous too.

The whole venue was clean and tidy and looks like it's just had refit, there's a decent sized outdoor area with massive TV screen and the staff were very friendly too.

We will be returning on our journey back and would highly recommend this place

As usual for me, 400 rump chips and salad pepper sauce could probably have some more peppercorns, but otherwise on point. I think it may have been a 300 rump (all the pubs are getting tighter). The other meal was a dirty bird, was another person at the table.

Went on Melbourne cup day, sat outside.
Good tables and shade sails, nice area to sit in.
Huge screen had race on, sadly no sound was connected, the outside speakers could only play music.
Service was okay, didn't get my members discount as girl processed order and didn't scan my members card despite it being open in my hand. Was unwilling to undo transaction to give discount after payment made.
Food was good pub food.

Went for lunch and a few beers with family. We sat outside as the weather was lovely. Food was served within 20 minutes . It was delicious.and hot . When finished we went on the pokeys ( slot machines) only a few dollars . Also, play Keno . Raffles on a Friday . It wasn't busy , prices are reasonable. Yes would definitely go back for food .

I had the prawn/sweet potato salad the flavouring of which was delicious. I was disappointed the bowl was 3/4 full of greenery. My partner was very pleased with his meal.

All our meals were served soon after ordering and were delicious. Friendly staff, mixed clientele.

Decent prices, the steak was cooked to perfection exactly how i asked for it, the chicken snitzel didnt have much flavour it was pretty bland, the kids menu steak was alot more than we expected this was excellent. Great staff and atmosphere, the beer is cheap and tastes great, all up our meal was around 60 bucks, we will be coming back

Dropped in for a beer and counter meal while driving home from a camping trip. Beer was well priced at $7 for a Schooner of XXXX Gold. Lunch was crumbed chicken with chips, gravy and salad. Could have had more gravy rather than a small bowl. Meal was reasonable and I describe as a typical Pub meal.

The staff here were amazing beyond kind and helpful. We had been in a serious accident and lost our van and car just outside of Ayr .We had our big unfriendly dog with us ,long story short We ended up in Ary waiting for our daughter to come from Cairns to pick us up ,5hors . The staff at the Kalamia helped us soooo much .They allowed us to bring the dog to wait at the hotel ,they looked after us way beyond what they needed to do .The biggest THANK YOU to Merryl and her team ......even fed the dog .....

Great steak and chips. However, the steak sizes are limited, and larger steaks would be more filling. Apparently, Kalamia used to have a 400g steak. It would be nice to have that returned ASAP.

Well priced pub menu. Schnitty is a cracker for $15.

Always a good place. Staff are always friendly and the beer is always good. Elliott in the games room is awesome. Always happy and chatty. Food is very good there aswell.

Have stopped here on the way from warwick to kurumba and this is the best meal in all our travels. Certainly worth the stop on the way back did not disappoint , staff are great , food is excellent !

The hotel inside and outside is very good. Big space outside with chairs and inside as well. They provide food and sweets for free and I like going there.
The staff who work there are very kind and helpful. They come up with a smiling faces all the time. I like the environment. A good place to relax ♥️🙏

Four of us visited for dinner at 6:30pm on Tuesday evening. The meals were served very quickly. The meals are large and delicious. Can't go past the Parmy!

The kalamia is an excellent pub/bar. Majority of bar staff are lovely folk. Foods good, beers cold.

Good atmosphere, fast service, and great value for money. The rump steak lunch special delivers good beef for an affordable price, with chips, salad and a choice of sauce.The creamy garlic prawns topper, though a little bit dearer (expectable to be fair) was awesome too.The only low point was the Dianne sauce (nothing too relevant in my opinion).Would come back, would recommend.

Excellent service, delicious meal. Ordered the reef and beef...steak cooked to perfection. Highly recommend if you are in Ayr.
