A nice pub located in Ayr, has that small town feel.
The food was great, big servings very tasty and the drinks were nice and cold. ??'?
We stopped in Ayr for the night from a road trip and choosing this place for dinner was an excellent decision.

Came here for lunch and will come back again. I had half a dozen oysters and a chicken schnitzel with prawns. Food was good, service excellent. A really good little pub, that\'s turns 100 next year, 2026.

2nd visit in 2 years on holiday from uk. Great pub. Good selection of beer and excellent food. Outdoor TV and plenty of seating. Very friendly staff. Chicken snitzel, ribs delicious. Garlic prawns the best ever. Food portions are huge and good value for money. Never have any of us had a bad meal. Dirty birdie and cordon blu this time. All delicious.

We didn't expect to find a pub/restaurant like this in such a small town.

Brilliant atmosphere, food was great but not the best although the portion size was huge so you won't be going home hungry and the menu is fairly adventurous too.

The whole venue was clean and tidy and looks like it's just had refit, there's a decent sized outdoor area with massive TV screen and the staff were very friendly too.

We will be returning on our journey back and would highly recommend this place

As usual for me, 400 rump chips and salad pepper sauce could probably have some more peppercorns, but otherwise on point. I think it may have been a 300 rump (all the pubs are getting tighter). The other meal was a dirty bird, was another person at the table.
