Great atmosphere here, and the food is excellent. Had the fish and chips. I have to say they are the best I've had in Brisbane and the Gold Coast. Walking distance to the Brisbane River front. Rate this place. Won't disappoint.

Favourite local, staff are always amazing, special mention to Angela and Mariana. Master-class on customer service.

Food has always been on point, steaks cooked as you ordered. A hard thing to find these days

I come to the Hamilton regularly for dinner. During the time, I have tried most of the meals on the menu including their specials.
The food is always first class and the presentation as good as any of the expensive restaurants I have dined at. On top of that the service and staff are second to none.
I would recommend the Hamilton to all ages !

I had booked for a function at the Hotel for a Reunion in July 2024. There were 50 of us, some I hadn't seen for nearly 50 years!! I contacted Kylie in Functions and we met to see which function rooms would be suitable. I chose the River Room which would easily accomodate us.
We discussed catering and room set up. On the night the room was elegantly set up. Everybody enjoyed the food - finger food-and there was plenty! I had originally chose too much food so Kylie suggested we cut it back which was a good idea as we would have had so much food left over and it would have been wasted.
The staff were friendly and nothing was too much trouble.
I would recommend the Hamilton Hotel for any function.

Just leaving a review to compliment the fantastic customer service provided by Maria Fernanda, a lovely Colombian lady that made sure we had a wonderful dining experience at lunch on Wednesday. She made sure we had everything we needed and checked in on us frequently throughout our meal. Will definitely be recommending the lunch service to all our friends.
