My wife has my phone. Great place for a meal

as a vegetarian there is no choices available other than a burger which i wasnt interested in. since they had roast of the day I asked for the roast veges without the meat what I got was a small bowl of boiled carrots and overcooked peas and a small piece of cauliflower on top. this was my meal after travelling 3 hours to come here with a large party guests, definitely not worth it.

Wow have not been here for a few months . Meals have improved heaps . Delicious meals and great portions too . Pricing was fantastic also

The atmosphere was very good, our table in the bar area was in a good spot and our meal was served to us very quickly, given it was Saturday night. The staff members were friendly and very polite our meal was thoroughly enjoyed and priced moderately. We had the battered fish and the chicken parma, both with chips and veggies all cooked to perfection. We will be back.

We were in the area and stopped for lunch, and it was nice to have the choice of a 'Small Serving' option. Very tasty and reasonably priced too.

Great Service. Separate Pokies, Restaurant for functions, Pub Meals and a Country style sports bar. Head down for Poker on a Monday night.

Was a good meal the mix grill was a little small tried to order a few extra snags coz my young boy seems to like my dinner more then he's own for 2 extra snags 4 buck each that was a let down

Dating from 1874 Alexandra House as a classic building that was built as accomadation for girls attending Alexandra College. It is now a sports club with a bar and bistro and pokies. The meals on par with many similar clubs, reasonaboe basic pub type meals at a reasonable price.

This one star is for the cob loaf... as for the rest of the meal, I ordered marinated pork ribs I have no idea where the marinade is. As for the meals my friends got I'm pretty sure the chicken was dehydrated before it was cooked, defiantly won't get salmonella poisoning as it was burnt out of the chicken, as for the veggies the nutrition was thoroughly boiled out of them, and as for dessert we ordered banana fritter hoping to end the night better, but no surprise there, we only tasted fish batter, the spoon didn't even cut through the rubber batter, I'm sure the ice cream was to expensive as we got just a teaspoon full on the plate and as for the maple syrup I feel it wasn't even drizzled over the fritter couldn't even taste it, just like the marinated pork ribs. So if you want a thoroughly disappointing meal I highly recommend this place.

Absolutely amazing pub food, cooked to perfection. Great staff and atmosphere. Also another of history in the historic building. Big shout out to Misty Seivwright for letting us be apart of the experience.

I recently celebrated my 30th birthday at Albert and Sydney. We had about 55 people but could easily fit a lot more. Jerome and the staff were so organized in the weeks leading up and on the night itself. The food was amazing and there was plenty going around. The guest couldn't stop complimenting the venue and food and everyone had a great night. I couldn't recommend this place enough for any large function you are planning.

Generous meals, wide variety on the menu. Family friendly, relaxed atmosphere.

I ate the steak roll with chips. I got it with salad instead of chips. It was very filling and I enjoyed it. The staff were welcoming and professional.

IT has a good atmosphere and the meal was delicious. I enjoyed my time there with my family and friends

Friendly staff, happy environment, and seriously the best steak I have ever eaten!!! And I don't normally like steak!!! Food was just really good. Had them recommended and it was a great tip. TRY a steak, hopefully they keep it up with the quality.

I had Scotch Fillet Steak M/R., it was cooked perfectly plus salad with lettuce ,tomato,cucumber,onion. & chips.. Wow

We recently celebrated our Engagement Party at Albert and Sydney and I truly only have positive things to say about our experience. The staff were brilliant, the booking process was easy and the food was delicious, especially the grazing table. We have had so many guests comment about how much they loved the venue and I know that we will keep A&S in mind for any future events. Even the small complimentary touches of candles and flowers just set the tone for a well presented venue. Thank you for all of your help and for being part of our Engagement celebration.

I recently had my 21st Birthday here and the venue and staff were incredible! I could not recommend this venue enough - Josephine was on top of everything and made sure the experience was smooth and seamless and catered for our every need. Her guidance and understanding was exceptional. The venue itself is beautiful and a perfect size for such an event. A massive thank you to this venue for giving me the best night - we will definitely be back again! Xx

We had our wedding reception here and had the best experience. The place is beautiful and the staff there are amazing. Josephine, Priya and Jerome were so great and made sure everything went smoothly. Great communication prior to the day and the girls were always accommodating when we requested to pop in to discuss stuff. I had so many guests compliment the food and comment how on the ball and friendly all the staff were. I would definitely recommend this place for any function, including weddings!

I recently had my engagement party at Albert & Sydney and it was perfect. Going back to enquiring for the venue, Josephine was prompt and accomodating to our availabilities and made the whole process so much easier. The venue was amazing, the food was beyond a 10/10 and the staff were just exceptional. They made our engagement a night to remember. All our guests kept complimenting how amazing everyone and everything was, I would highly recommend.

Friendly staff. Average kitchen service speed. Meals looked so lovely. Most impressed. Then meals came out one by one, began eating. So very, very disappointed. Just tasteless. Will try again in future to see if they were having a bad day and update.
