Rude manager. Gets up locals. Stomps around in an agro mood. Denied a takeaway steak. Ruins the whole atmosphere. Good cheap steaks. 😀 what's with the management?

The croc bar, just want to start by saying it was an absolutely lovely meal we had the steak and it was cooked to perfection so props to the chef.

The only thing I wasn't happy with was the the service we had tonight 18:58 today (Sunday) we were not greeted properly (this is by the long blonde haired lady with braids) but instead demanded that I through my can of coke in the bin as soon as we walked through the doors (which i did mention the coke was nearly finished), the then went on to state that this is a license premises so I wasn't even allow to finish drinking it inside and basically had to through it out straight away so I then had to STAND OUTSIDE and drink the rest of it and then through it away before entering. Absolutely shocked by this hospitality I was close to leaving for somewhere else if only I wasn't so hungry. Really left a sour taste in my mouth as a bad first impression! It wouldn't have been a big deal if I had finished the last of it whilst at least waiting inside the building but unfortunately that was a no go here at the croc bar. We ordered two steaks and I didn't bother with a drink, I didn't want to spend more money after being told what to do like that as a 'greeting', we weren't even offered any table water to which then I had to go up and request myself as no one checked on us. The majority of shift she was more interested in standing around or talking to coworkers if you watch on cameras it's for a good 20-30 minutes of nothing but talking), dancing, drinking and then hardly lifted a finger the whole rest of the shift (I think the mindset was to do anything but work). If I was in there managing I'd be getting a good deep clean rather than sipping a drink and wages being shoved down the drain rather than being put into good use, the other shorter blonde girl and brown haired girl at least were more on the move. Imagine hiring somewhere that just stands there and does nothing and speaks to paying customers like that, service not up to standard

Haven't visited the hotel but the croc bar near the road is a good place to hang out for a drink and have a nice + cheap meal.
Unfortunately they forgot our rumpsteak but John came up to us and we got some free drinks for the waiting time & finally got our steak :)

Stopped in today for the $10 rump. It was as dry as an old leather boot and as chewy as a rugby players sock but the flavour was great and for $10 with slaw, chips and gravy I'll definitely be back and I'll be making this a regular stop for lunch or dinner! 5 stars.

Rubbish service from bar staff to manager. Felt like my order had been missed - everyone had received food around me and waited for food for nearly one hour - i had ordered extra chips with the meal which eventually they came but twenty minutes before our main meal. The manager said that it was the way they do their meals, they serve side orders as a starter- when i questioned this - he said I was aggressive . Left most of the meal - too upset to enjoy it .
