Time warp! Old school country hotel, from the decor, to the casual but friendly service.

Food was OK, not spectacular, but tasted good, and at a fair price.

Overall reasonable value for a casual lunch.

Absolutely appalling service at the Goolwa hotel. I had booked a table for dinner and was assured that they would be able to accommodate for me, only to be informed on arrival that the table would need to be split up, and even after conversation with the rude staff they couldn't place us all together even though there was plenty of space in the dining area. Alongside this, we had rung the hotel to ensure we could come in to pick up some drinks, and after being told we could, they then refused our service once he had arrived no more than 10 minutes later. I expect better from a country pub.

Such bad customer service! Lied to our faces when we were in need! They need to think about the people that are keeping them afloat. It is not fair on anyone especially in a country town. Good salad bar though! Thank you

Can guarantee a good meal here. Steaks are always good and the size of all meals are generous. The hot veg & salad bar are nice but could do with refreshing/filling more regularly. We have been there quite a few times when we have gone to get or veg/salad and the bowls are nearly empty with only scrapings in the bottom.

The Triumph Car Club visited the Hotel for Friday and Saturday nights and were well looked after.
The meals were excellent, with a great salad and vegetable bar. The staff were all friendly, efficient and helpful.
Highly recommend the hotel especially for group bookings.
