Dropped in after two days of travel to get a hot meal with vegetables. Decent food options with good specials on offer. Did get served the wrong sauce but not a big deal. Could use some signage out front to help direct non locals to parking and beer garden entry around the back. Recommend as a good option for travellers, can have dogs out in the beer garden.

Whilst the staff are friendly and accommodating, the food is not worth the price's. The rib fillet steak I ordered was no thicker than a Sandwich steak, cooked well done instead of medium
Rare and very chewy. Also the plate of food arrived cold.
After being recommended for the best steak in town, it certainly didn't live up to expectations.

We had a great lunch here a week ago. The food, service and atmosphere (in the beer garden and bistro) were exceptional. We chose the Criterion as it had the best reviews and we were not disappointed. And, it is so well located to the caravan park and the town centre. Simply, this is the place to eat when in Dalby.

Wow, just had a weekend at the Dalby Fairway Motor Inn and we had our meals and drinks at the Criterion hotel. What a perfect holiday. Criterion hotel is full of fun, staff are great and boy the meals were just perfect. The rooms and fireplace was very nice, kept the history of the building. Music at 8pm was great for all ages. Even though the restaurant tables were all full, we watched large tables of guest all served different meals they ordered all at the same time, this was amazing, don't see that in the city or many places! We did not wait long for our meals and so clean and yummy. The staff all were happy and busy. Well done to the manager on such a great pub. Just like the good old days, what we tell our kids pubs were like, thank you.

This places gets the big tick for the food, particuarly the steaks. I have been here many times and always order the steak with a topper. It is always cooked just as I like it, medium rare, and the portion size is good with vegeies and chips - always a winner when combined with a beer. It's a pub - so the atmosphere depends on who's there, but in winter this gets a better mention because of the fireplace.
