We came in July 2025. We wanted 2 single rooms.rms 9 & 10. Small and tidy, clean bathroom & shower was hot. Single comfortable bed. Tall cupboard to hang clothes in, microwave, toaster, kettle, bar fridge, ironing board & iron.coffee, sugar, tea, plate, knife, fork, dessert spoon. Good carport. Table and chairs outside & Air conditioning that works. Made of besser blocks so you don't hear the neighbours. Quiet end of town. And only $218- dollars for the 2 rooms. And tv. The hotel is permanently closed. But the rooms are open. When you arrive, there is a mobile number to call on the wall. We were lucky, the lady was there to help us. To easy. Better than paying $250- at the other motels for a single room. If you don't want the creature comforts, this is perfect. Short walk to the pubs and shops. There were concrete contractors from Toowoomba staying here. With room for their 2 / four ton trucks. They do have security cameras here to keep an eye on your vehicles. The contractor that was here for a couple of months, said he had no dramas. For evening dining we went to Kobbers Motor Inn restaurant. And Urban Paddock cafe for Breakfast and Lunch.

The place is dilapidated big cracks in the walls, bathroom covered in mould in the shower , no carpark close to room , it is so overpriced . 4 trains during the night rocking you awake , beds were very hard, no security on windows , would not recommend

Great prices, only criticism is that they need to put signs out to let people know they are open. Stayed in Dalby for 2 days and walked past many times and did not realise it was open

Arrived after 7 1/2 hours drive .
No attendant had to call a mobile number for service. We politely asked how often the train comes past (room only several meters from train track and intersection) we were advised every 2 hours. We opened the door to our room and within 5 minutes yelling swearing and door slamming from the neighbouring room, so we called the lady on her mobile and met her at the gate and informed her of the issue and we will not be staying. She apologised and said I will cancel your booking and I will refund you and it will take up to 12 buisiness days(no refund given and my mobile number was blocked from calling hers) lodged through booking.com with no resolve. We booked a room near the botanical Gardens at Dalby Manor on our exit from this dive. Very disappointed would not recommend this place at all.
