We had a really great evening, yummy food 😋, friendly atmosphere! We now go there regularly it's a lot of fun plus great having live music 🎵 to dance to!! 😃🥂🍺

Vegan food review -
I use to drive across the river specifically for the plant based parmi but after tonight's experience, honestly I won't be doing that anymore. This dish use to be a 10/10 but we were very disappointed tonight. Don't get me wrong, I am grateful for the plant based option they offer however since the last time i went they have changed this dish to make it more 'fancy' which has just resulted in a disappointing and confusing combination of flavours. The pesto they have added to the parmi takes away from the schnitzel experience as a whole and on top of this we got 1 cherry tomato chopped in half for each salad. One salad didn't even have cucumber yet the other did which seems quite confusing in itself. I wouldn't recommend the plant based/vegan option as honestly you could make the same food at home taste better and for cheaper. Other than the disappointing changes they have made to the vegan dish it is an alright place to go with lots to do such as trivia and bingo.

Went out for a birthday dinner with a friend. We ordered a seafood basket. What we got was not certainly not a seafood basket. Seafood was well over cooked and scallops were so minuscule and definitely did not look like scsllops. Managaer of the cafe reluctantly gave us a refund and stated majority of the meal had been eat, when over half was still there. Anyone interested in the seafood basket I would highly recommend choosing something else or even going to the restaurant. We have never had any issues at the restaurant but this was our first and last time ordering from the cafe

My comments is based on the restaurants only. Spacious, neat and clean atmosphere, lots of tables, very well resources. Dishes were served pretty fast, and tables cleaned quite timely. Membership is $5 lifetime plus a free Freedom Fuels discount card. Price is a bit higher than the other clubs. Coffee was on the burnt and smokey side. Big car park at the front but could get busy.

My brother had their baby shower party at the club, the lady who helped us on the day was super friendly and awesome!(Not sure her name, but she had bandage on her finger) . The place was clean and pretty! Food was nice ! 🙂??'?

Very pleasant club with very good food at amazing prices. Went for a meal with friends and joined that day. Each of us enjoyed different meals which is always encouraging. Drinks were very well priced too. Staff were friendly, helpful and courteous. We will be back, even though it's a bit of a drive from Kenmore. Nothing like it near us.

The actual club is nice. Nice lighting and atmosphere etc. They also have a lot of options for food and have a nice menu ALTHOUGH I've eaten here twice and both times the food has been extremely bland and under-seasoned (both mine and my partner's dishes so I've tasted 4 of their dishes - all bland, especially their pasta dishes). It's an easy fix but not sure how the chefs are unaware of this issue as they should be tasting their food, especially when they've gone through all the effort of making the club look so nice. They do have a good deal on memberships and staff were very friendly. Unfortunately the food is letting them down at this point.

Food was good. Good prices particularly if you join, which is cheap and lifetime anyway.

Karage salad was healthy, came out quick.

They even have sarsaparilla.

Had a fantastic time at Club Southside! The atmosphere was lively, and the staff was friendly and attentive. The facilities were top-notch, offering a variety of entertainment options. We go for family dinner quite often.

Great service, love the $15 steak. Drinks are really good prices. I'd recommend.

Worth booking if you intend to dine.

Today, I had the worst meal ever. The Falafel was so dry, like being cooked days ago , the salad was old and not fresh at all. Also, about the sweet chips over cooked and burned. Yucky 🤮.

The food is average for a club. A bit pricey both members and non members.

Very strict with regards to dress code make sure your shoes are on you at all times including when you are relax and seated...I was told off by new security at 11pm while seated and chatting with my sister...I am 60 years old and occasionly my foot swells up especially wearing closeup shoes during winter....told the guard my reasons but he has no sympathy ..he said You are breaching the dress code!!😅

Staff are always friendly and helpful. Great selection of meals from the restaurant and cafe. Gaming area is very spacious and lively. I always have a lovely time at Club Southside!

I have been trying come in different days and having my meal here. It's a great place for me to catch up with friends. Nice atmosphere and friendly staffs. I feel relaxing to sit and drink here

My first time here and I was really impressed to the decor but most mainly to staff who are very friendly, attentive, happy and excellent service. My friends 60th birthday was done so nicely from decor, food, drinks. The ambience and lighting and sounds are perfect. We all had a blast celebrating a special lady. Thank you Club Southside, you will see us again. ❤️

One of our favourite place for food. The food are great with nice plating. Their staff provide great services as well. The interiors is beautiful and something there are live piano.

Looks fancy from the outside, looks fancy from the inside.
Both cocktail & beer was delicious, so was the food except for the fact that I ordered 4 steaks which took over 30 minutes to arrive which came as the wrong order.
We took the wrong order as it is but 3 of the steak was actually served cold.
While it's my first bad experience here, but this is just completely unacceptable.

Lunch was delicious, hot, quick, easy to park & check-in was simple. Staff were courteous and the environment was clean and adhered to covid rules.
Reasonable prices too.

Love the Southside. Go there regularly for a good old feed. Have to say, on busy nights, the wait for food can be anywhere from 45 minutes to an hour. Other than that, great food, love it! I recommend the Works Burger. It's not on the main menu, go to the Cafe and ask for their menu.

Had no idea this place existed! Went here to watch the origin game and the food was really good! Got the chicken breast and Brie and my partner got the mixed grill. The chicken was delicious and not over cooked, vegetables could have been cooked a tiny bit longer. I tried some of the mixed grill and it was nice too. We had the espresso martini on tap and it was good!

It's a nice place and the staff are friendly but it's really quite over priced. I had the steak fillet normally $34, on sale $23 for a Monday special. The salad was very small with a red onion bulb sitting in the middle of it not even chopped finely. The chips were like they were the dregs. Lots of little pieces, I'm talking like half centimetre crumbs and way to salty. The steak was cooked medium rare as requested but was quite cold as well as the chips by the time it made it to the table. The fat on the steak was like completely uncooked and was attracted off. Overall the family of 4 costs $115 with soft drinks. We came here instead of beach house garden city. Beach House are doing it much better.

The location and a place is great for a meet up with ample space and great ambience.

However the food left a lot to be desired. We were a group of about 10. Most of our food were too oily and lacked taste, which was a pity at such a great looking place. Drinks and service were great.

Not a bad location. Facilities are very good, clean and tidy. Staff were lovely to deal with, a good variety of activities on offer that would provide a really fun night out, the kitchen and staff would provide anybody with a great night out and dinner or a very tasty lunch, and afternoon.

Great remodel, food pretty good, not what I call expensive.. But nice place for lunch. Staff quite friendly and helpful.

Love the new menu in the restaurant. It's been a while since my last visit but we'll be back to try the Asian fusion inspired meals. And as usual fairly well priced.

We often go to Club southside for their weekly trivia. James (trivia host) goes above and beyond, always so friendly and helpful. Trivia is hard to get into because you have to call at 9am on the day! its difficult for us to call because we both work and, recently have been missing out, it would be better if we could book online. all in all we love coming to trivia when we get spots.

I have been to the Club Southside quite a few times lately & haven't been disappointed yet. The food is generous & really good & I love the atmosphere & the staff are very friendly and are willing to check anything for you. I have to eat gluten free & they went & rechecked that the meal was for me - with a smile. Very good service & different areas to sit & have coffee or dine in.

They only know how to the steak properly!Roast pork was as tough as my belt,Lamb backstroke wasn't eatable, salmon linguini was tasteless, even the staff member had said 'this is a common complaint about the lamb'.Beers were cold and food was reasonably priced, however they just need to learn how to cook it properly.

A good local club. Often pop in for lunch or dinner. Very busy at times, especially when Bingo is on, but the staff cope well & always greet us in a friendly fashion. Recommended.

We booked a table for 18, expecting 'club' food but this was amazing! The menu has something for everyone and the Sand Crab Linguine was to die for!! Everyone at our table was very impressed. Bar staff may need more training though because he didn't know what a lemon lime bitters was. Thoroughly enjoyed it. Thanks

This club is our local ... this place has been on a downward spiral since the renovations...the menu in the beginning was brilliant and I organized regular family get togethers .Our meals tonight were very ordinary...I wouldn't recommend going to restaurant ..I recently went to the Lions soccer club at Richlands this place is superior in service, food and price...Hopefully this gets through to management as a catalyst to make change.
