Well 4 of us went for dinner tonight. Food 3 steaks, all cold steaks and chips, 1 fish and chips that was cold also. Not good enough. Got order wrong and kept on bringing back a steak that wasn't ours. Pity help the person that owned it, it would have been very cold by the time they got it.

Amazing value, amazing food. Wednesday night special was schnitzel with any topper for $30. Hubby and I grabbed this. Given oldest daughter and I had no breakfast (long story, don't go to Cafe Paris), we were ravenous. The kids steak was awesome - both daughters ordered this with sauce, chips and salad for $12 each (non member price). Highly rate coming here for a solid meal!

Ordered at 6.30 and didn't get our meal until 7.26. Do NOT recommend dining here on Sunday night. Unfortunately there's literally nothing else in town open hence why every man and his dog was there. Bistro needs to cap the amount of tables if they can't cope with the volume.
Only had a steak and calamari and chips. Was an ordinary meal.

Waitress was a bit facetious when we mentioned the long wait. A humble apology could go a long way!

Just enjoyed a beautiful meal at Charleville RSL Club. I had the steak, husband had grilled chicken. Both were cooked beautifully. And thank you for not doing that fancy city styled stacking food. (Steak on top of the chips). I got to have nice crispy chips. I chose mushroom sauce and husband had pepper sauce, both were beautiful.
What a great little Club. From the moment we walked in, the staff were happy and friendly, and pleasant. Our meal was delicious. And the price was very reasonable. Definitely recommend.

Nice little club, friendly nice cold beer. Didn't eat there yet so can't comment on that.

What great RSL with extra friendly staff. Beer cold, meals great, beautiful building, some fantastic memorabilia especially to locals currently serving our nation. What more can you ask for. Congratulations to the members, committee, staff and management. A credit to Charleville.

Its a nice club (with lovely bar staff) but on the Monday night we visited there was an excessive time taken to serve meals which were not up to the standard suggested in other reviews. Orders were being taken by someone I suspect was still learning and my steak ordered and marked "medium rare" was much closer to well done and my wife's pork chop was extrememly small with a lot of fat. Maybe we were unlucky but we cannot give it anything better.

staff were very friendly, we were there for three meals and enjoyed them all.
The building is well laid out and very practical, and plenty of parking.

Friendly RSL staff. Meals were so good we went two nights in a row before travelling on. Tuesday T-bone steaks two for $35. And the barra was delicious & a decent size. Highly recommend.

Fab lunch meals. 😋 a must vist if you're passing through. I guess the evening meals are just as succulent and tasty. Well done team.

The wife's fisherman's basket was ordinary to say the least, salad was what expect to be served up at a 2nd rate mates barbie ..u cannot tell me this is what you generally serve up?

Food is wonderful, Little pricey but it is rural. Great friendly staff and patrons. Pretty nice atmosphere and short walk to town. Drinks are nice and cold.

The food and service was amazing I would be a regular if it wasn't 2000kms away

It is one of the best outback RSL Clubs we've seen so far. The building is beautiful, the lawns are lush and well maintained and the service suburb.

BEST steak I've ever had accompanied by some delicious chippys a delicious salad and a perfect creamy mushroom gravy. Big thanks to the chef and all the staff, simply INCREDIBLE!

Had dinner here last night after perusing the extensive menu online. Was disappointed on arrival to hear due to staff shortages they were running a limited menu.
Not to worry, although my chosen meal was not offered, they kindly agreed to make it anyway. Most appreciated. Meals were well presented, generous serves and tasty. Thanks so much.

Small friendly club. Bistro meals very nice. We went twice and had different meals, all were good quality for a reasonable price. Crumbed chicken with choice of topper and salad or chips or potato or vegetables with chips or potato. Same with the barramundi cooked in a few options, hubby had grilled. We also had garlic bread, there would have been enough for 4. Next night the rump steak special. Cooked perfectly how we asked with choice of salad or vegetables as above and sauce. Vegetables serve a bit smaller than the night before but the steaks were a good size (I couldn't quite eat all mine). Tender and really good value for money.

Plenty of parking. Very warm welcome. The building itself was beautiful inside. Unfortunately the meals were just not as nice as they looked. My nachos were soggy and greasy, the vegetables with my husband meals were over cooked & the chicken wasn't the best. The kids enjoyed there meals & the chips were nice.

A nice place and really delicious food! It has an extensive menu and our food didn't take too long. It's a busy little town at the moment and the RSL was a nice surprise.

We went on a night where they had a limited menu, so that was a shame. While the staff were lovely the meal was a complete disappointment. The rump steak was meant to be medium and was cooked well past well done and incredibly charred.

This afternoon when my son lost his $2 tooth fairy coin one staff member went well out of her way to help us find it. Good food but absolutely top notch service! Thanks once again it was very much appreciated.

Best and only place for a feed on a Monday night. Great midweek specials. Excellent customer service by all staff. Good option for travellers.

Nice friendly club. Went for dinner amd ordered medium rare steak which when it arrived was very well done.

Terrible food. Old salad with browning lettuce. Filo pastry soggy, undercooked wrapped around reheated chicken. Barramundi, killed twice, once when caught, again when cooked. The food is a joke, and not cheap either. Expect better from a RSL. Staff were all wo derful, shame the food wasn't the same.

We had a lovely lunch today with friends, the staff were very friendly and helpful. The meal was hearty and the price was very good. Thank you for a wonderful lunch.

Excellent food and friendly staff, had lunch there today but unfortunately a young female patron was sitting in the dining room wearing a baseball cap and no one in supervisory position noticed.
As a Veteran I am very disappointed

Pretty much what you'd expect in a small town RSL club, however, the food is better and well priced.

They serve good comfort food, like home cooked meals. Steak, chicken parmy, grilled barramundi etc.

The service is also good.

Calamari was great, chips couldn't care for and salad looked like scraps from two days ago. Service was alright, prices were outrageous, charging several dollars extra for toppings on a parmy is just stupid. Include it in the price.

Meal was great. Although they did lose our order the previous time I was there they made up for it with a free dessert

Itu2019s still a privilege to go to an RSL that still values the service of personnel. The staff are so friendly and the meal was top class. Well done. The photos of those serving from the region is a credit to those whom have signed on to serve our country.. I did suggest to a lady that maybe they could use a tv type screen to show the faces of these people with a small voice over mentioning their name. Maybe on the hour or something like that. But in no means do I think that what is being done is not first class. Well done guys. Myself a veteran of 21 years service.

Good food

Only place in town this week. Bonzer but. Never seen oysters as big as this outside France. Was gonna have a wee punt, but that would mean a big think. And my melted brain wasn't up to that. Back to motel for a wee swim and big lie down.
