We had a pizza each. $25 too big for us. Should have bought one. Took the rest home.

Best sleep we've had on our road trip, we moved from Corones Hotel (worst) to
Cattle Camp Hotel which was clean, comfy, priced good. Great shower. Fully recommend. Lovely relieving manager, thankyou

Have to give 5 stars, had lunch and roast of the day.
Awesome meal, meat tender, veggies cooked perfect.

We needed to eat early to make our session at the Cosmos Centre and The Cattle Camp opened at 5:30pm for meals which was perfect. There was a line up of people waiting to order but the food came out very quickly. We ordered garlic bread (yummy) Calamari (delicious) and 2 Parmi's (which were also yummy and very filling). Its an older looking bar/restaurant inside but there is a funny mural on the wall which had preoccupied our time as our kids found it very funny!

I don't like to write unsavoury reviews however, this one is a must. We ate here and the prices were fine but the food needs a major lifeline. Crumbed steak was as handy as an ashtray on a motorbike. Couldn't eat it due to the toughness and oil. Vegetables were ok. Chicken stunk of vinegar and tasted like it had been sitting in it for a week. Chips and garlic bread were great. Bar service is pretty slow. Will attend again in a year and if changed will update my review. Come on Cattle Camp, you can do better.

Ordered medium rare steak and it was served as well done. Chips were to salty.

Would never stay here again! The bedroom we were given had unclean bedding. The doona cover had cum stains on it. Was absolutely FILTH! Rooms full of spiders ect. Would never ever again.

Also a pub with no kids meals??????

Awesome country pub, good prices. Friendly staff with great service. Pizza's are delisicious, great value. The young lady Violet who is making the pizza's, your a doing a fantastic job. .Thankyou was the best pizza we have had eaten in a long time. Will highly recommend.

Awful place. Ian the manager is a massive homophobe and has terrible hygiene problems. Under serving drinks is another issue that needs addressing. Do not come here, go anywhere else

Not as bad of a place as some would say, have been told boss man isn't that good but everything else is great and has a great atmosphere. No food being served when I was their.

If you're a backpacker and thinking of working here, please do not. My friends and I lasted a week working here, due to the owner being so rude and arrogant. The way customers are spoke to is appalling, I've never seen anything like it. He belittled us and spoke down to us constantly. He is notoriously known for how unpleasant he is, and known for the amount of backpackers that pass through here, he cannot keep any staff members for longer than a month. We travelled quite far and spent quite a bit of money on transport for this job as it sounded like the perfect set up (too good to be true). I cannot recommend Charleville enough as a place and all of the locals couldn't be nicer, it's unfortunate our time was cut short here because of one person.

Rude and arrogant. stay away. I was sat in the corner minding my own business on the phone and he told me to be quiet.

Went on Wednesday night omg it was fantastic, the young girl behind the bar so welcoming funny and lovely, ordered a pizza for dinner and was so yummy, will be back

If I could give a minus 10 stars I would the owner is rude and arrogant and belitles employees in front of the few customers he gets if it wasn't for the bartenders he wouldn't be in business and the worst is he refuses to pay employees once he sacks them

Great pub. Had my favourite beverage (Canadian Club Dry) on tap🚰 . Perfect pub meals too. Try it if you are in town. Highly Recommended!

If you like old buildings and history this is for you. Other than that not much more to comment on. The staff are friendly, which is lovely, but no life or atmosphere. But may have something to do with the building/business being for sale. The current owners have stopped trying. Shame really

The publican behind the bar treats you as if you're nobody unless one of his regulars. I've never been so surprised by the lack of customer service skills let alone people skills from a professional. Someone you'd think would take pride in his establishment. But who knows, maybe he had a stick up his rectum. I'd be sour too.

My wife and I first of all were at the drive in bottle department and browsed the menu. The young man serving us was very enthusiastic and helpful with road information we decided to have dinner. We were not disappointed. My wife commenting one of the best steaks I have ever had. My Pizza was also good and big so I took half away for breakfast.
The staff were terrific and I will surely visit again.

Went to this pub a couple of days ago to be met with anything but hospitality, the toothless bumpkin at the front bar was rude, the locals were anything but welcoming and the only vibe I got was your not welcome here. Food looks outdated, tasted horrible and wouldn't feed it to my dog. If you are not a local don't go here, as your not welcome and it is made clear the moment you walk in. If you visit charleville this is the place you want to avoid, not only for the terrible food, lack of hospitality, but because you wouldn't be safe here. Have been all over Queensland and this was the most uninviting pub I've ever been to. TOURISTS PLEASE AVOID THIS PUB FOR YOUR OWN GOOD.
