The three of us were shown to out table. First impressions of the venue were okay. Typical hotel you could say.
The menu was pretty decent. My wife and step son chose corn fritters for starters. I chose the Fried chicken.
The corn fritters according to the two of them were very nice. My chicken was a little dry and bland. No taste at all. Disappointed.
For mains, my stepson and myself ordered the open souvlaki and my wife wanted the Chicken Scallopini. My wife enjoyed her meal.
Cannot say the same for the souvlakis. The Lamb was so swimming in oil or fat. Little or no salad and the souvlaki wraps were bone dry. Like cardboard. Filled one up with filling and really struggled to eat it. Worst souvlaki I have ever tasted. Asked my stepson what he thought. One word. Terrible.
One other point. My stepson ordered drinks via the QR code. We waited ages. In the end, after the mains had been served, he had to query a server where our drinks were. They finally served drinks half way through mains.
We had coffee and tea afterwards. That was the best part for me. Coffee was good.
Summing up, the staff were very pleasant and efficient. As for the food? Well. Already know what we thought.
What mark? Hmmm. Really struggling to give the experience 5 out of 10.
