Found the food pretty average. Had prawns and crab for starters. Love prawns anyway. Had a mix plate for main. Found most a bit bland. The BBQ chicken wings were pretty good.
Overall pretty average venue. Staff were efficient and approachable. Will give it 6 out of 10.

The staff were good but the food was horrible there was just a lack of flavour in most dishes there is also not a lot of variety. The desserts were
Just dry cakes that have been there for quite a while. The good this you have no time limit and interior is beautiful. It is just not worth it rather try lynbrook hotel is just more value and the food is all good and fresh.

Castello's Pakenham Hotel is a great spot for family dinners. The food is delicious, the staff are super friendly, and the prices are reasonable. Highly recommend for a lovely evening out!

Our family and friends attended our daughters 16th birthday lunch 3/2/2024 at Costello's International Buffet. The place was nice. Well set out and clean. The staff were wonderful, attentive on the day and made you feel welcome. Nothing was too much trouble.
The food was nice and certainly a good assortment to cater for most.
Overall the experience was great and would recommend to others to go. Keep up the great work and we will be back again...

Foods are delicious. And also staff also very friendly and helpful. Location having enough parking space and the located near to the highway. Do recommend for all family members. Children got play space as well.

I feel awful taking a star away for atmosphere, because it's not the fault of anyone other than customers. Tuesday, kids eat for free. It's such an amazing initiative and makes it more affordable. HOWEVER! Some people don't seem to care what their kids are up to and being a buffet means they touch food or bite food and put it back! Otherwise I absolutely love everything about it! We have had my daughters past two birthdays there. Have invited people to dine with us and they have always wanted to go back! The membership benefits, the draws, everything is such a wonderful venue and experience. For a buffet, I absolutely love the food! Not common with most buffets I've tried. They also always send questionnaires out, if you've booked online and they take EVERYTHING into consideration when you give feedback.

I don't know how else I can say how much I love this place

Plenty of variety in the foods. Was very disappointed in the quality of the prawns. Not fresh, soft, soft shells, and no taste. The chicken was good, as were the desserts. Child had the curry, should have come with a warning as it was extremely hot(spicy). Not bad for the price though.

We had our Daughter's first holy communion party in Castello's and the experience was mind blowing. The Guest enjoyed the wide spread and few of my friend really liked the tank beer.

We had dinner at the buffet for Father's Day and it was great. There was a great selection of delicious foods, including seafood, and lots of tasty desserts to. Even though it was busy the staff made sure that the food was constantly replenished so nothing ran out. The staff were all friendly and helpful. We had a great night, and will definitely be back.

Great family friendly restaurant. Kudos to the staff for accommodating all the crazy screaming kids running around and making big messes everywhere. Well equipped for big group bookings we had 20+. Our daughter loved her birthday dinner and definitely recommend to all families.

The food was delicious and staff were friendly and easy to talk to. I love the vouchers for kids drink, and unlimited ice-cream, not that I would ever take more than 2 scoops. The quality of food has improved dramatically since the management takeover a few years back, and now it is comparable with Hotel Lynbrook which is for me a huge compliment. The only problem is eating too much food, because it is all too tempting

Nice and cosy atmosphere inside of vines and flowers. Family-friendly place with staff who is kind and considerate. Lunch buffet nachos were delicious - rest of the food was pretty good for a buffet. Good cocktails. Overall happy experience!

Looks beautiful and friendly staff. A great play area for the kids which is visible from some seats.
Plenty of food options, but it was all well below average.
We didn't expect much for buffet food, but all of the food was stale and lukewarm (barely).
The only thing I mildly enjoyed with the egg fried rice. Dessert was also very average.
A little disappointed as they have so much potential.
Drinks were great and bar service was good.
Kids mean included a drink.

Enjoyed the yummy food, price is reasonable, however, they could be having more salad items, neat and tidy place and good service, good that they also have a playground for kids

Normally I am not in the habit of ever doing 5 stars,cos no one is perfect, but this establishment is the exception to that rule,..

From the moment you set foot in the door you are greeted by staff,,but it feels more personal,like family, nothing feels like it is too much trouble,it is not just staff "doing there job ",it goes above and beyond that ,and has a genuine feel to it, the manager even came over, and genuinely thanked us for choosing to dine here today and he really meant it ,and ,he went around ,and did this with everyone,
there is a large kids playground, Seating is spread out ,so you don't have to sit on top of other people, everything is very clean everything is thoroughly wiped and cleaned properly once people leave.
If you are one of those people that worries about buffet restaurants ,please just try this one once ,it is above common standards that seems to be typical of some other similar restaurants and very well presented.

The food is not only exquisite in appearance, but also in taste ,flavour ,texture , and temperature , everything is just perfect ,and I mean that .
the vast quantity of choice and the quality of the food is second to none . I actually could not find
one little fault with anything.
if I could afford it.,I would eat there at least 3 nights a week and never get bored ,there is so much variety,and you really do get what you pay for ,it's worth every cent.

Searching for places to eat in the local area and this place popped up. I don't normally leave reviews but I feel compelled as the food was absolutely exquisite.

Location and Seating arrangement great.very yummy foods with lot of range to select ,fabulous environment ,very reasonable price The whole experience from start to finish is great. Staff is always so friendly and kind. Always a great spot to get great food.

First time we have eaten here since the renovations & I couldn't recommend it more highly.
We only had simple dishes (Calamari, Burgers and Fish & Chips) but each dish was delicious. Cheesy Garlic Bread was awesome, the burgers & chips were cooked to perfection & the Calamari was spot on.
We loved the Big Kids menu concept as we have two 12 year olds & the kids meals are too small but the adult meals are usually too big.
A couple more tap beer options would be nice but that's not really a complaint.

Love Castellos, they have a great buffet. If you like to pick your own food and serve yourself great pub. Kids loved it and they loved the ice cream.

Cooks served you the food from the smorgasbord, you are not allowed to handle the food yourself. You had to wait in the queue to be served, isn't this a concern in itself? Food quality, and limited choice of food, not as good as it has been in the past. Staff service was good, environment clean.
