Went for lunch. Nicely renovated and clean, but service was not good. Ordered our lunch. After waiting 3/4 hour we asked how much longer it would be. The order hadn\'t even been sent to the kitchen. Eventually it came but we were disappointed. Hubby ordered a roast, but it wasn\'t hot, meat was dry and knowing that a lot of people don\'t like Brussels sprouts, it wasn\'t a good choice in vegetables. I ordered a Ceasaur salad but it had carrot, cucumber and tomatoes in it. I can\'t eat tomatoes due to reflux, I have occasionally seen tomatoes in Ceasaur salad but never carrot or cucumber. If I\'d known, I would have requested no tomatoes. The egg was half cooked and it was probably the worst I\'d tasted.

Enjoyed a very pleasant lunch in a nicely renovated dining room. Service friendly and meals were served within 15 minutes. Coffee was disappointing, very weak needing to be a bit stronger.

Absolutely cool with this place. Of course they look after locals first but have a chat, be friendly and you\'ll meet some good people. Some entitlement and unrealistic expectations on the reviews below.

Had a terrific experience dealing with Graham at the Bordertown hotel to organise refreshments for a big event. He was quick to respond to any queries and was extremely helpful throughout the process. Crystal also helped us organise wine glasses for the event.

We had dinner at the Bordertown hotel too. The food was great and the service was impressively fast. I myself didn\'t stay at the hotel, however my friends that did said it was a great experience.

A great hotel, restaurant, and bottle shop, run by great people.
