The chicken parmas were huge and delicious with quality toppings. As a couple visiting the front area near the bar was perfect, and the acoustic panels on the wall work a treat. The staff had good PR and were well trained. The bar staff made a great Lemon lime and bitters. Well done. ??'?

We celebrated Christmas 2023 at the Wonthaggi Club today for the second consecutive year. The service and food was exemplary. It was great value with a complimentary welcome drink a lovely touch. We decided to have the seafood and although it wasn't explained that it was going to be presented as an entree,we enjoyed it thoroughly. The variety of food was very good although I missed the mushroom gnocchi from last year. The staff worked tirelessly to ensure our dining experience was perfect; I cannot compliment them highly enough. 🙏 I also liked that we were not crammed in and had comfortable space between the tables

Really enjoyed sitting there today.
Service was good and dish size is fair.

Not a man for giving reviews, but lord Jesus on a bike. I came for dinner and got the chicken Parma and for only 22 dollars it blew my mind how nice it was and a massive portion, will be back again.

We had an open steak sandwich. I ordered one with the relish on the side and one with tomato sauce on the side. We received one with the relish and the waiter went to get the tomato sauce and we are still waiting for it!

The food arrived well presented but everything was lukewarm to cold. When I mentioned it to the lady that came to clear the table she showed no interest in whether we enjoyed our meal or not and said she would inform the kitchen.

We will not be back in a hurry.

I have fish n chips and my wife had the calamari which I ate most of. The calamari was so tender and tasty the fish n chips were very nice too. Being a Friday beer was $6 a pot which is good. Plenty of food to nibble on at the bar for free and the atmosphere here is good.

Came in today for Mexican Monday and had delicious Nachos! Matt/Matthew did an excellent job serving my table and was very friendly. Great experience :)

Absolutely a top place for chicken parma's, the servings are huge and the Parma of the day is $20. The cheese burger and Prawn pallea is also quite good

We stopped by Wonthaggi recently to grab a late lunch and found the Wonthaggi Club and their all day menu. The club itself is as you would expect - with a pokies lounge and sports bar - but the staff were extremely friendly and helpful during our visit.
We ordered the Garlic Bread and the Slow Cooked Lamb Pizza with Rocket and Tzatziki plus the Tiger Prawn Pizza with Cherry Tomatoes, Spinach and Garlic.
The Garlic Bread in particular was so delicious and super soft with the right amount of garlic! Of the pizzas, I would have to say that the Lamb was the winner on the day.
This place isn't anything fancy, just good food and really great staff which is sometimes exactly what you want for a late Sunday lunch!

Great service. Lady in Bistro was lovely bubbly as we weren't from Wonthaggi. We where up looking at purchasing a home there. Lady at front counter wasn't to inviting at all. Need someone abit more happy. Food was beautiful. Size on plate served up was enough. We will be back for sure. Nice and quiet and very clean. 🙂 Happy customer....

Great staff yet very average ambience, my pork salad was tasty only because of lemon dressing, looked like left over pork off cuts, yet for $15 it passed, hubbies 300gm porterhouse for $39 he gave it 5 out of 10, ,(,you charge more than pubs, you need better quality steaks) the garlic butter was tasteless and too salty, friend ordered the fish, two massive pieces ( should be choice of size to save waste) fish was passable, only thing that saves it was the salad in all meals.... Drink prices in par....

Fabulous. Great ambiance, bar, kitchen, and staff. A true club experience and tried really hard during COVID to keep the vibe going and has come back wonderfully.

Love the bar area, always kept clean and tidy. Professional staff, happy to make light conversion. Staff look happy and this brings up the vibe of the pub. Unfortunately the food isn't that great .. 3 stars for service and the team, 1 star for the food. Fyi no kitchen open on a monday

We dined at the golf club which we hadn't been to for a long time. It had a lovely cosey ambience. The food was excellent and the prices reasonable. We will definitely go back.

Good service, meals aren't too bad. Casual dress code and if you just want to eat and take the kids you can. Reservation is recommended as it can get busy.

Meals took nearly 50 minutes to come and one seperate from the others, barely anyone in the bistro so no reason it should take that long. Didnt update us about where the food was or that there would be a wait. No apology. Customer service was poor. Will not come back or recommend. Crispy food was soggy and food was different to described on the menu

Wow, what a great atmosphere. Enjoyed xmas lunch so much. An abundance of food, venue clean and organised. The staff were so obliging. Well done! To give up your xmas day, for us to enjoy ours. Did I mention, the food delicious.

A nice refurbished pub with standard pub fare. Beer selection is good but no cocktails except for espresso martini on tap. Food was standard, if youre a member it will be cheaper.
