Hosted my mother\'s wake here just over 6 months ago. Her one request on her death bed was that we have her wake here (as we have done for other family members who sadly passed).
She may be old and worn in but Windsor Bowls club was just the rustic ticket we needed.
Plenty of space for friends and family and so much food I wish I\'d taken a doggie bag. Hands down the best chunky fried chips I\'d ever had.

Absolutely disgusted. Had been my local for 25 years, had many family wakes there and 6 months ago my aunty died and on her deathbed she gave me a very expensive pair of Burberry sunglasses. They were accidentally left at the wake, we informed the club immediately (have email) the pub then rung my ex instead of me by mistake and informed her the glasses were found, we were out of state for 6 months and gave my parents details for them to call and have them collected. I got home e weeks ago, my family never received the call to pick them up, I have video evidence of thd manager auditing they were found put behind the bar but cant find them now, we were told this for a week, I went in today and again they admitted the staff had the glasses but they disappeared from behind bar, then changed her story when she saw we were recording called uss liars and said I should have been more careful at the wake its not there fault staff found then lost the glasses. I now don\'t have the only item my dead aunty bought me, the staff are saying take us to court, im purely disgusted. Never go here, ever

Great lawn bowls venue with super casual vibe and friendly staff.

Drinks are cheap and affordable, they hold a fun meat raffle (on Fridays at least), and serve dinner. Food is nothing special, but fills you up.

Will be back in future for another great bowls experience!

Amazing Christmas Party venue!
We recently held our work Christmas party at Windsor Bowls club with a group of 17 people, and it was fantastic! The club allowed us to self-cater, which was perfect for our needs. The staff were incredibly hospitable and friendly, ensuring the day ran smoothly from start to finish. Everyone had a great time, and we're already looking forward to coming back in the future. Thank you so much for all your efforts - it made our celebration truly memorable! Amy

I cannot recommend the Windsor bowls club for your venue enough. Tim made the whole process easy and as a venue you can do almost anything you want in the space, it was great to have his support before hand and on the day.

He was able to help us out at relatively short notice after another venue dropped us quite close to our event and we are kicking ourselves we didn't just go to the Windsor bowls club first.

We had a third birthday party and the space up stairs had plenty of room for the kids to play and run around, parents and family to mingle and chairs and tables set up for food. We also had an entertainer which wasn't an issue as there was plenty of room for it all to happen.

He met with us to walk us through everything, we were able to get catering from the venue and do some it ourselves, which helped our preparation load and our wallet. Not to mention the caterer was second to none, the food was excellent and made fresh. I could have had a lot more of the pepperoni and potato pizzas, outstanding. There was plenty of fridge space as well which was handy when we needed it.

Thanks again Tim and the Windsor bowls club for hosting us and i am sure we will be back.
