The venue looks and feels unclean. It needs a good professional face lift. Preventing patrons from "taking at shower" in the mens toilets would be good. The female gaming attendant working this morning was very good. She showed some personality and had a smile on her face. Having two pub sized pool tables at the venue is a real bonus and positive, allowing gamblers to take a break from the electronic gaming machines and play a game of pool instead.

Thought I would pop in to Westend market hotel after a few years. Sad to say service has not changed and still shocking. Looked at menu, staff member said no meals on Monday only hot bar snacks. Bought a schooner of beer ,no thank you or anything. These people are destroying businesses. Message for Westend get some friendly staff.

Staff are good. But the venue, needs to stop with the false/misleading advertising that they close at 5am, when really they stop allowing entry by 430, and kick everyone out at 445. Adjust your times or doors open until it's actually 5am.

It is not appropriate for the blonde female staff member with short hair to shout at patrons waiting extended periods of time for their meals. If the venue cannot cater to meals that are needed on a tight timeframe they should not accept such events as WPP. Disgraceful service and attitude towards patient patrons

Had an awesome rare steak there for lunch today! Loved it. I will be back for more!

Suprisingly modern inside, very chill and friendly staff, sport is on the big screen, pool tables, cheap as drinks. Really good spot for a local chill out.

Sad there was nothing but fried food on the menu for a Saturday night. I can understand why completely, staffing costs etc. But yeah was super keen for one of those great looking schnittys. Otherwise had a great time though.

Not to bad of a pokies venue but the atmosphere is a bit on the low side even the guy at the door at first I thought he was either a homeless guy or just someone who was always blowing his pay then having to wait allllll week if it was a bit more lit up some chill music and the door guy was dressed half decent even if you lost you'd still walk out with a smile

Carpark at late hours of the night here can be not for the faint hearted lol trust me when I say I've seen it all here.
But totally redeemable when you try the devine DIY coffee/hot chocolate machine! This badboy cranks out the meanest free coffees/hot chocs ive EVER had- better yet... beats nearly every paid for hot drinks ive gotten also!

Westend pokies and the whole Westend market has changed alot since I was last here a few years ago. The staff are friendly and the atmosphere here is good.. I wish the market was open still.. the food at the Bristo is delicious and not to pricey.. I will be coming back here more often. Not for the pokies..

I am surprised they can turn the venue into a nightclub and the sound system is great.

Today I went to 5 different pokie venues, they are Palms, Westend Market, Ashley Hotel, The club and Deer Park Club. Among those 5 venues, Westend Market is one of the top 3 pokie venues I highly recommend.
Reason 1: Easy parking.
Reason 2: Clean and neat indoor environment.
Reason 3: Staff member Christine is friendly and accommodating.
Reason 4: Coffee is available for free. Love that.
Reason 5: There are popular dragon link, lightning link and storm link slot machines for us to choose from. The progressive grand jackpot on storm link has been over $50000, which is crazy.
I will go there again to play the pokies for fun. Today I cashed in $5, played the dragon link, 1 cent denom, 50 lines, 50 cents a spin, cashed out $16, not bad!

Lovely staff, excellent coffee and as a bonus I got up on the pokies finally. Not too crowded, Bathrooms were fairly clean and sterile looking. Overall happy customer, I will definitely be returning. Also the parking is huge so close enough that I don't get wet In the rain but enough space that I hate having to worry about someone putting a dent in my car. Lol

Staff a very rude. If you are into losing your money, mixing with dug users & dealers and all other types of criminals, them it is the place for you.

Staff are not sensitive to people with mental health issues. They also don't care when someone is defrauded out of there pension on there premises by one of there customers. What ever you do don't find a wallet on the floor or you will be accused of theft

Great Hotel for Gaming, has a good number of machines, and a fairly generous variety of games. The gaming room is open late till 6am, which is useful if you want a late Friday or Saturday night, the drinks bar is open inline with the gaming room, and has a good range of Beverages at a reasonable price. There are also lounge areas, and comfy sofas to relax in. Has TAB betting machines available throughout the venue and a sports betting area. Have not used the bistro, but I believe there is one available to use for lunch & dinner times, but obviously not open all night to 6am like the gaming area.
