Fabulous food, salt and pepper squid was delicious. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Within walking distance to the caravan park and Staff rang a taxi to get us home. Courtesy bus available often. Would recommend without hesitation

We'd give NEGATIVE 10 STARS to the rude manager a lady with long blondish hair with glasses and terrible food if we could.

We ordered steak and it came out rubbery so we politely explained the problem and requested a refund as they had none left. The waitress took it to the kitchen but she came back shortly insisting their was nothing wrong with the steak, we responded with yes there is definitely something wrong with the steak we eat steak every week and we know what good steak is from bad steak. So when I went to speak with the manager, she was extremely aggressive and rude towards me, and I was shocked to be treated this way. I mentioned that the steak was very hard and rubbery and was not edible and she said in a very rude aggressive manner. THERE IS NOTHING WRONG WITH THE STEAK!! And shoved $25 in cash at me. Still owing me $4 for steak sauce they charged me. Keep it guys. Worst RSL experience in my life. Stay clear, very badly run and run down club.

Great staff great location good beers but the food was horrible I had the special gnocchi which was dry and tasteless no sauce at all and my mate had the lambs fry and bacon with veg he didn't eat it was like rubber and burnt I did not eat most of mine either find another venue for food not this one or until the RSL needs to get their menu and. Kitchen right and we where hungry had been on motor bikes travelling from SA all day.

Food not that good and expensive. Was very disappointed. Hardly touched my food. Ordered chicken filo pastry with veggies. I Asked if instead of chips, I could change it to mash potatoes. They didn't allow, so had to pay $6 extra for the mash. Total order Came to $34, hardly touched my food. Would not recommend.

The roast meals were classic back to your childhood flavours.
Excellent service, staff very attentive.

The corn chips were glued together with hardened cheese and a blob of mashed avocado, runny sour cream and salsa out of a jar. It wasn't edible . Take it off the menu !

You get what you expect here. Eating here won't cost you an an arm and a leg but is still reasonably good. It doesn't pretend to be anything it's not. The food was good and we enjoyed our meal. I had the steak and my partner the chicken filo pastry. Staff nice and area clean.

Worst place to eat. Ordered the pork belly stir fry and risotto. They both look like a dog's breakfast. Less is more. We had so much ,splattered on the plates, so much so I lost my appetite. None of which tasted good. So disappointing, specially after having paid so much for it too

Don't bother eating here. Just ordered 2 steaks and a salt and pepper squid total of $107. Medium to well steak still had a pulse. Medium steak was not much better. I sent my steak back and very politely asked for it to be cooked to medium to well. It came back out with the same pepper sauce on it and cold veg and chips. Wait staff nice and polite but there must be better places to eat than here.

Seemed very understaffed and hectic. The food was amazing, although took a while to come. It does seem to have gone down over the last year or so, but still an enjoyable place to go to eat n have a press on the pokies whilst enjoying a brew.

Typical kind of RSL. We had live music when we were there which was nice, the food was good quality and tasted fresh but a little pricey for what it was.

Atmosphere is nil. I went and had the $25 steak special to try it out. I have had better food in hospital. The steak would have made a good replacement for the soles of my shoes. Awful.

Meal was very pricey for a family, maybe if you are a senior or a child it's ok, but in saying that the special menu said that the kids got a drink and ice cream for free, which we didn't and they said that it was an extra $5 for the icecream? When I questioned it saying then why does the menu say it's free the girl just said, I don't know why it says that? Seriously I'm to tired these days to fight these problems but maybe for future referance and to save confusion adjust your specials sheet so that others are not confused as essentially it's misleading/false advertising. The girls meals came out very quickly but it was a long wait for our meals and the extra chips was hilarious! We will post a photo of the bowl of chips that we received! My meal was worth the wait, it was a Tandoori Chicken Salad and the main reason that I gave you the 2 stars! It was delicious and you got the other star for giving us a a family laugh at the bowl of chips, now I would be embarrassed bringing that out! 🤣

We went on a Monday night without making a reservation. We were surprised by how busy it was! Most tables were taken, however, we luckily managed to get a table set back from the large windows overlooking Lake Pertobe. We ordered the squid and lamb's fry. Both meals were very generously portioned and delicious. The service was good and the meals came fairly quickly considering how busy the restaurant was. The restaurant had a pleasant, friendly atmosphere. Highly recommended.

Lovely staff obviously overwhelmed by the amount of people in attendance. Wait time indicates that kitchen staff were overwhelmed by the attendance. I've never done it before however I did have to ask for a replacement plate due to the fact that it was tepid not hot but then received a plate of hot food within 10 minutes. I have been here 4 times in 4 years and found the quality of the food to be declining over those 4 years will not be back again next year. That said the staff were absolutely lovely and fantastic.

Went for a meal tonight. It was very busy. There was a function on plus a group of 20 school children and other diners. Staff were under the pump but very friendly and accommodating. Meals were served promptly and were delicious and plentiful.

Caught the Courtesy Bus, the driver was very friendly. We ordered the Italian & ABC parmi absolutely beautiful. Our meals came out very quickly. Staff were all very nice. The club was very clean and tidy. Would definitely recommend to call in if staying at Warrnambool. Great experience. Good job everyone

Great food, great service, even picked us up from our hotel and dropped us back. Very friendly bar staff. Thoroughly recommended. The grunge band was unexpected. Great night out.

Staff and views were amazing and they really made the kids feel welcome. Great display of veteran clothing in the foyer. Was great to show the kids what their relatives and current serving relatives wear. Thanks for a great night out 😃

Highly recommend this RSL. Went there for dinner on the last night of our holiday. They made us feel very welcome. The meals were absolutely delicious and the desserts just as good. Definitely will be back when we are in town next.

Very extensive menu - Roast of the Day was amazing and almost as good as the service from the staff who served us. Atmosphere is relaxed and friendly. Crackling on the Roast Pork was amazing.

Covid safe practices in place. Meal was beautiful. Service was great. Staff very friendly and accommodating.

RSL meals in all the places I have been are usually really good value and quality. This Warrnambool one must have been having an off day. The roast dinner we got last week was particularly bad. Only half cooked, gristly meat, and only luke warm.

Renovations were worth waiting for. Still the best view while dining inWarrnambool. Very good menu.

You can't go past a local RSL without thinking of excellent meals, cold beverages and friendly service. This adage proved true on this visit. The chicken risotto was great. The pint of cider was refreshingly chilled.

Lovely meal. Didn't take long to bring out.Brilliant views!Ordering meals took some time! More to do with people not sure what they wanted before ordering!Same with getting drinks!

Had a wonderful experience. Staff were delightful and interacted enthusiastically with our children. Meals were great quality and serving sizes were exceptional. Very clean, which is so important right now. Great laid back atmosphere.
