Excellent service - food comes out very quick!

Went for parma night - service was average, meals were OK. Wasn't given option of sides, and noticed the table beside us were all served with different side options

Making reservation is simple. Food is overall good, especially the prawn pasta and wings. Price is reasonable. Have to order at counter and self service for water which are fine but will be good if sharing plates and spoons are provided without having to ask for them. Staff is friendly and ambience is good. Will go again next time.

A really awesome atmosphere and would highly recommend for those interested in sports and sprint cars and in the Warnambool area. There are life sized replicas in the venue that make for a cool photo moment and lots of TV's and bar set up which is perfect for watching events. The food was not amazing but it wasn't bad. There were a couple vegetarian options available on the menu which is always good too. Prices were on the higher side but portions were large. I found my pizza was a little disappointing however my partner enjoyed his steak.

Food was okay but a bit overpriced. $5 for a can of soft drink. Staff were a bit confused but generally well meaning. Kids menu for under 13 only, not teenagers.

Stopped for food on a day trip to Warrnambool and found this place. Great customer service and delicious food. The staff were all friendly and nice. Food was delicious. The food and service Made the trip to remember. I Will definitely go back to this place. They understood the food advise as my friend is vegetarian and had the food served to needs. Thank you.

Salt and pepper calamari was fresh and chunky, very tasty. Chips crunchy and yummy. Big portion for a seniors meal. Very happy.

Large parma - they weren't kidding. Salad was great, chips amazing.

Great pub with table service (both drinks and food!) Food and service were first rate. Good size serves of quality food.

Garlic & cheese bread was excellent as were the main fish and chips. All of our party were extremely happy with their food and the dining experience here.

Fantastic family meal enjoyed by all ages. Quick and attentive and very professional service from the staff. Good selection of food, that was all excellent. Highly recommend the Beer Belly from the specials menu. Even when we accidently broke a glass over one meal, this was cheerfully and quickly replaced by the kitchen. Can't recommend enough. I noticed the service staff all seemed quite young but was impressed at how highly professional and caring they all were. Whatever you are doing to get such a good service culture, keep it up. Attended with our family of 11. The welcome and the service that followed was first class. The staff were very attentive and helpful. As for the meals! We all had a different selection from the menu (full of mouthwatering choices) and the unanimous comment was "great food & cooked really well". We are from out of town but we will definitely be back!! Well done Flying Horse!!

For the celebration of the life of a dear friend of my partner, we attended a gathering of family and friends at #theflyinghorse
It's a very large venue with many spaces to gather collectively. We were seated in a lovely spot but wasn't too noisy considering the number of people.
Menu is traditional pub food at reasonable prices. My partner had a medium rare porterhouse steak which was cooked exactly as requested. It was accompanied with honey candied carrots, broccolini and garlic flavoured mashed potato's.
I ordered the penne carbonara and took up the option of chicken that was served with shaved parmesan.
Portion sizes were good and taste not bad for a pub meal, considering the volume of food they were pumping out.
The bar is well stocked and although I chose the house red, it was pretty good.
Kids are well catered for and it's an ideal 'family friendly' place to eat.
Bonus - no poker machines humming in the background.
Plenty of car parking.
Courtesy bus available and that was well used by our group.
Best of all, the staff were amazing. Helpful. Courteous. Friendly.

Once again a fantastic experience. Staff were very understanding of our needs for our disability clients. They were very respectful, helpful and courteous, and made our evening go smoothly.
The meals were quick to come out, and the staff accommodated our special requests re meals. The food was delicious.

Took my son for his 21st there at his request. Just a family dinner ... beautiful meals and a very large selection to choose from. Ours were fish and chips with salad, pizza and camembert chicken in filo with salad. Lovely staff who assisted with our special cake which I took in early. They delivered secretary and just as we requested so son was completely surprised and thrilled. Service was super quick. Loved the ambience. Although not applicable to us..we noticed an indoor play area for little ones that also had a monitor outside so parents could watch from afar. I am extremely grateful for all the help given to help my sons night be simple yet special. We would certainly recommend and will go again.

But the food was terrible, this is the caesar salad pizza, with soggy raw dough.

Since changing hands, menu has changed, not for the better. Salad is lettuce, capsicum & onion w dressing, that is not a salad where is tomato, cucumber etc, their were 2 others at my table who weren't happy with the "salad" either. Also much loved cutlets & Thai Beef Salad are gone from the menu, very disappointing.

Food was terrible, inedible. Refused to pay for my meal which was very disappointing considering it was my birthday we were celebrating. Ruined the whole evening. Had to ask to have table cleaned of dirty dishes. Staff would walk past and look at the table and continue to walk away. We were celebrating another family birthday only 10 days before and the food was incredible hence why I rebooked for my party. Couldn't understand what had gone wrong. Then we realised the menu had changed and alot of the variety of meals had been removed. We then discovered that the establishment had changed ownership within the 10 days of us being there. This explains everything. We won't be back. Why change something that is obviously bringing patrons to your door. Very sad to see another eating establishment in this town failing to offer great food and service. Maybe they should have taken some pointers from the previous owners on how to serve up successful customer relations.

There's quite a large menu, all the three typical things you'd find at a pub. The beer is a little expensive. The venue is good, and the staff are friendly and helpful.

Wasn't quite sure what to expect here for a meal - the menu seemed a bit limited but was in store for a pleasant surprise! The food and service were great, generous serves of tasty food. Pork belly burger with plum sauce was delicious. Our table of 11 were all very happy with their meals

On a not so busy day, we had to wait a good 30-40 minutes to get our lunch after we ordered it. Other tables/families who arrived after us, got to order and receive their meals well before we did. Not impressed by their service at all. But once the meals finally arrived, they were good.

It's a good pub let down by a few things. Mainly serving Martinis/cocktails in wine glasses. When you pay good money you expect a good product. Lacking there. Hope they can fix this up for 5 stars. Great kids room.

A group of 8 we were booked in for dinner after the 'bool on the Tuesday. Food was terrific and the service was fast which was amazing as it was packed after the races. Young, friendly enthusiastic staff. A great night. Thank you to the owner Monkey.

Service is ridiculous. You had to ask for everything, they never asked for extra meals or drinks. Food was good, but it came at a snails pace. Beer was good. Not going back again for a while.

One of the worst meals Ive ever had. If I could given 0 stars I would!!Ive never seen a more horrific side salad, not only was it old, but it has tinned pineapple and beetroot and dried up cucumbers. It look like its been reused a couple of times.What I expected, at a 1 star nursing home, the rest of the vegetables were so dry and old, you couldnt eat them.The mashed potato we powdered, they couldnt be bothered with making fresh mash.When ask if I enjoyed my meal, I explained my disappointment and the waitress blankly look at me and walked away.Dont bother dinning here, dont waste your money or your taste buds.

Very quick service, didn't have to wait a long time for the food. Food was very good. Price was OK well worth a try.
