Groovey little pub. Movement is restricted, dartboard end of the bar on the Wednesday nights, when two of the local Social darts teams do battle. It's a good night tho.

My husband and I decided to give the Victory Hotel another try tonight after a not so good dinner here about 10 months ago as things can change We arrived and found our table we had reserved and my husband went to the bar got our drinks and unfortunately my rum had coke zero, not a great start. Then our meals came out in a reasonable time and the vegetables from the buffet were quite good and a great selection. My husbands chicken Kiev was reasonably good but my roast beef of the day was barely eatable, I struggled to cut through it with the steak knife and it was hard to chew. The amount served was very plentiful but terrible, gravy was ok. As we sat and I tried to eat my meal the table beside us had a few that had ordered the roast and by their comments between each other they were not happy either. The lamb cutlets that went to their table were dark golden brown and way too over cooked and weren't being eaten either. The way money is at the moment I'm disappointed I wasted my hard earn't money. I leaving this message to warn others. I'm not one to go and complain or make a seen, I'll just never return.

After some major attitude from a staff member in reference to our party booking, the rest of the staff were quite friendly. The food was wholesome, honest pub food with proper garden salad and vegie buffet. Nothing pretentious, just a good feed.

As recent visitors to the victory hotel / motel, we would like to thank the proprietors and staff. This hotel is the most welcoming and happiest we have visited

The staff are friendly but food is now over priced and to be honest not that great. Just left there from having dinner with the family and 2 out of 4 meals where like leather, crumbed steak that came out almost black and that hard if you slapped it on the table it would shatter like glass.

The rooms overall are good there's a pub there and the staff is great and their friendly letting you have a good conversation. Overall for the Pub: 10/10

Great clean room. Close to shop. New owners at shop. Lovely people.

Service was pretty good, its nice and quiet, the rooms were better than expected but there was dirt, rocks and dead spiders in the beds

The food was ok dough on the pizza was sticky not quite cooked through but ok priced for the food. Ordered a jug of lemon lime and bitters which was $20 which is ridiculous for only 4 drinks all up and a singular cup was $4 the cups we were given were also smaller then the regular ones, basically paying $6 just for the jug and 4 small drinks not worth it and not happy about the price.

Clean, all appliances in good working order, plenty of hot water, beds comfortable. Staff very pleasant, a Gympie 4 star much deserved.

Well being coming there for 29years bit of honey moon time ate hundreds times local nowadays at the bottelo,
Allsways had good staff hard workers nice ponytails in bottleshop they stock 101s the firewater of choice hd many adrink there shares in the joint wasn't optional pitty I'd own it now deadset Ha'

The food was great. The staff were friendly and welcoming. The place had a homey vibe to it. And the pizzas were gigantic!

Negatives:
I rated it a 2 stars because of the poor condition of the units I stayed in.
It had a strong dusty carpet smell, the bathrooms smelt like a combination of dust and bleach, my sink had a Colgate stain from the previous occupant and there were strands of hair on the floor (didn't belong to me). It seemed like the unit hadn't been properly cleaned in a long while.

Feedback:
I think I'd return if the rooms were properly cleaned.

Ordered a seafood pizza tonight, waiting 50 mins. got home and it was disgusting, worst pizza i have ever had. soggy base, VERY average seafood and FAR TOO MUCH Cheese.. Such a disappointment... Ended up going to red rooster.

The food was very nice & well priced. The hospitality left much to be desired. I will look to other places to eat before returning an thg time soon
