One of the best places I have ever been to! I even went and got the RSL card to support the veterans! Heck, and I'm an American who's traveling to all the big cities.. regardless, this is better than most all of them ðŸ'¯

Staff were really friendly and helpful, when my son spilled his full cup of water all over his full plate of nuggets and chips staff were quick to help mop it up and replace the meal for him. Meals were generous and delicious.

It was lovely. My siblings and families attended and we were all impressed. Huge meals, served promptly and in a delightful atmosphere. Well done all and thank you.

December 20 2023 and it was good today, garlic prawns, fetta salad and barra with mash. All great, 🤞for my next visit.
September 2023 and dissapointed again. Not saying much apart from its pot luck at RSL Gympie. I would have returned 25% of my horrible steak as grissle and nobody asked me why.

2022.I have added a star since my last visit, we had 3 meals in August 2021 and all were great. This time we received a caddy with salt, pepper and everything we needed; great idea. Keep up the good work.
Old review........It was my first visit since the refurbishment last year and the new restaurant and gaming area look great. We had 4 meals and all were a little avereage.
The members price is closer to actual value which cost about $20 per meal and I was happily surprised to find out membership had come down significantly, silly not to join the club.
After covid I want salt and pepper back on the table please.

Food was great. Service was good.
Requested to be near kids area. When we got there, we were assigned a table at the back near the glass doors. I spoke to the hostess and said I had requested to be near the kids area. She happily changed our table to be closer to the kids area.
Happy with that.😁

A Huge Thankyou to Del and her team. I recently celebrated my 40th birthday with 40 guests at the RSL. They ensured the tables were set with the decorations I provided. Meals all came out in a reasonable time and tasted delicious. We all had a fabulous time. Thanks again

Food was not up to standard. The fish was just cheap frozen should have been proper fresh fish for the price was way too high for cheap fish. The lasanga was all cheese and tasteless meat.. no body or taste first and last time this ex service person will eat at the RSL in Gympie

My wife and I love the RSL but on Wednesday 27th July we didn't have a good experience. The line up to order food went all the way back to front door but only one register was open. A second opened briefly and we stood in line for 23 minutes to order. My wife got the roast pork which was dry and uneatable and she left not eating it. We usually enjoy the RSL but on this busy night, simple things the RSL could have done did not seem obvious to management. Maybe next time.

A big thank you to all staff at the Club. We had dinner on the weekend for 55 people. The communication with the staff was on point from when I initially made the booking a couple of months ago. On the night everything ran smoothly and all guests were happy with their meals. Also a big shout out to the courtesy bus drivers for getting so many of us home. It was such a team effort from all of them. Thank you once again.

Great RSL because each time we come to Gympie we visit here & have a meal & a little flutter, the staff are very friendly & helpful , we thoughly recommend Gympie RSL

Super busy but great service. Had the sweet potato curry was really nice but the meal could of been hotter as in temperature. Very friendly service. There were six of us and it was just the curry meals that were only lukewarm.

While the food is always great the bar service is not. There are rarely drinks menus readily available on the bar. They are hidden away in a corner of the bar. A male bartender ignored my husband who was standing at the bar for over 10 minutes waiting to be served. The male bartender didn't mix my daughter's drink as asked and when she went back a second time with the same drink order he told her he would mix it properly this time because he "wasn't so busy ". I appreciate it's difficult to get staff however the barman on Monday night had "attitude " towards two of my family members. Otherwise the evening would have been a good one.

Kids Disco and lunch date with a friend, the new updates look amazing. Food was delicious too the kids had a blast.

We loved this place. The food is great and at a good price. It was also open for business. We were stunned to find the other pubs in Gympie closed very early. This place was clean and tidy, service quick and friendly. The prices looked good, but neither myself nor my partner are drinkers, so I can't comment on drink prices.
The only thing we found lacking was some live entertainment on New Year's Eve no less. Something very lacking in Gympie.

Lovely inside and out. The Atrium is beautifully decorated and has a wonderful ambience. The food was a little expensive for the size of the meal and some of the meals weren't the best. However we had a great afternoon with great company.

My friend and i really enjoyed the environment, the fare and our drinks.
We had the roast of the day 'Lamb' - neither one of us cooks this meal for ourselves, so it was a treat with roast veg and gravy and mint sauce too lots of yummy lamb. Its a ??'???'???'???'?

All aspects of the club are first rate. Right from when you walk through the front door to the bar staff, staff at the Bistro are extremely helpful. The club is fortunate to have excellent staff. Oh the food is amazing and reasonably priced. Well done Gympie RSL

New decor is lovely and the menu was good. My garlic prawns were fabulous. My husband's parmigiana was a little dry. All in all we enjoyed our visit and will certainly be back.

This is one of the best venues in Gympie. The staff are all very friendly and thoughtful. The menu has a very good selection, with two menus during the day (one big one lite). Beer is colder than Vladimir Putin's heart. Overall a great venue in a great town.

They gave me normal gravy
Meal was not extra hot
Sent out a watered version of pepper gravy when I said something
No crackling till I asked for crackling
Not good food served here but the great staff make up for it

Just came to Gympie RSL for the first time, I must say that, the service was fantastic and the meal that I had would hands down be the best meal that I have had eating out in the last Four years hands down, and I eat out regularly.Prices were very good for the quality that I was served. Staff were super professional and friendly.I will be back. Thank You Gympie RSL.

Love the new renovations since we have been there. Really great meal & staff lovely. Hubby had the ribs & said it was the best he had ever had.

Regrettably I must give 4 stars instead of 5. Somehow i was given the wrong meal, had it replaced wrong, and finally got it correct the third time. Nonetheless, the food was very, very tasty. The new refit has also given the RSL and very "posh" feeling, and given that the prices are still very acceptable, I'm very happy to dine here again. I recommend others do too.

Edit: customer service promptly handled the error, and I'm very happy with their service.

From the front door reception, where your greeted, and right through the club, absolutely every staff member is friendly happy and accommodating.
So refreshing to feel so Welcomed.

Great place very modern, went there for dinner during there raffles period and didn't wait long for our meals. Meals were very good. Staff were friendly.

Nice renovation but didn't get in to try the food. On holiday from Brisbane for 5 days but got rejected at the door. I was wearing the clothes {Dress shorts and collared shirt} i wear to club's in Brisbane but the leather sandles I wear in Brisbane was not good enough for Gympie ?? No problems had a great meal at "Indian Brothers" and I won't need to pay for a membership which I was planning at the RSL. PS. I am 76 years old.

Amazing renovation, the bistro upstairs looks great. Stunning bar. Still got my favourite ribs, but a whole heap of new options. Our new go to!

My boyfriend and I ate here tonight and we both ordered steaks. His "pepper gravy" was just normal gravox with pepper cracked on top. And my "sweet mash potato" was honestly an abomination, and I love mash :(

Didnt even make it to a table due to one of the males in our group wearing a tank top. However it was completely fine for the females in our group to wear singlets. We found this very sexiest and found a different place to eat.
