Main meals came out pretty quickly.
Food was good.
Ordered dessert, which was forgotten.
Reminded them 20 minutes later.
Still took another 20 minutes to come.
We ordered the cheesecake. It was served up without ice cream as described in the menu, and only 2 of them had the Shortbread as described in the menu.
Still charged full price.
By this time the kitchen had shut.
No good service really.

I was seated as soon as I came in, and my food came very fast after ordering. (The chicken is juicy not dry, and the salad was fresh and crisp. I ordered garlic sauce instead of gravy. The price was little more than other places but not too bad.)
The waitress took my plate within seconds of me finishing my food...

We had 5 meals, 2 were steak dishes and were well enjoyed . The 3 remaining meals were not so nice. $21 for 3 sea scallops, now I don't mind paying for a good product, however these were not. They were smaller than a 5 cent piece only one of the 2 toppers on them and we'll over cooked. Caesar salad that I could not see because of all the Mayo dressing on top, literally couldn't even see the egg on top. If I could work out how to upload a picture to this spot I would show you what the mushroom burger looked like, it was awful and tasted as it looked. If you like steak you are good to go, if not, good luck.

Parmis are one of the dearest in town starting at $30, decent size chicken but chips come out with no seasoning at all. Partners steak was overcooked and the 250g is $32 by itself and the customers are a different bunch 😅 not a horrible pub just pretty expensive and has a smell to it unfortunately

I went to dinner on Friday night for my mums 50th!!! We had an amazing time the food was great, drinks were amazing thanks Paige! And Dale and Brendan provided great customer service.

Went to dinner with a couple of friends. We all ordered steak didn't have to wait to long to receive our meal compared to some places. I would have to say that it was the best steak I have had in a long time it was cooked to perfection. I even took the time to go and give my compliments to the chef. So if you are after a great steak head over to Tom's Tavern and enjoy.

Went for lunch and a couple of beers friendly service. Food was nice and decent size.

Food came out quick, albeit it was quite. Service good but the steak! The steak was cooked perfectly. Tender and juicy with a wicked Dianne sauce.

One of the best dining experiences I've had in a long time. Staff are absolutely fantastic and friendly. Service was very enjoyable. Definitely 5 star recommended. Will not be disappointed.

Attentive service, couldn't do enough for us. The outside playground is perfect for children. There is also a quiet corner with gaming consoles. Portions were generous and they have senior specials and a children's menu. With an extensive range of beers, spirits and wine as well as tea and coffee and desserts.

Food was great but took a while to come out. The Toblerone cocktail was also good however the glass made it all too easy to spill, even for the wait staff!

The staff who attended us were lovely and apologetic, I think they were understaffed but a couple of us did notice at least one staff member who appeared to be actively avoiding people at the bar.

We sat outside which was alright except that the playground gate would crash loudly shut every time a kid came in our out, and there were other kids unsupervised and climbing where they shouldn't be.

Although there was a 1 hour wait and my entrees came out 5 minutes before the mains. The food was incredible. The kids had a great time and I loved the cocktails 🍸 😍 ??'?

The staff were great - pleasant and easy to deal with.
The food was awful, and I've had a lot of pub meals over many years. There was no grilled Barra & they couldn't apparently grill another sort of fish so we had the battered fish. The batter wasn't cooked through so was slimy and cooking oil seeped out when I cut it. I had the side of cooked vegetables, a very small serve of cooked vegetables, and all of the greens were over-cooked.
The air-conditioning was great.
Overall very disappointing.

The cocktails are delicious and well balanced. The food was made with care and everything came out of the kitchen hot. The service staff are superb, friendly and helpful.
This is however a family friendly venue so there are still plenty of adult aged children screaming at their offspring and making a scene for petty reasons.

My 4th parmi in the last week and a half lol the chefs there do the best parmi in town there massive lots of cheese and there jacket potato is always good been lazy and got uber eats of late and great pricesfor what you get.So if ever in the ville Tom's tavern is the place to go for food 5 stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Decent pub fare with a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. Chicken schnitzel and seafood BBQ cooked to perfection. Sticky date pudding came with generous dollops of whipped cream and berries.

Many, Many Thanks to Tom's Tavern for our amazing event held out on the Terrace. It was a family birthday party for over 50 people and we were so grateful for all the planning, assistance and kindness from Managers, Chefs and Servers. They went out of their way to make it special. We chose platters as our food option and it worked beautifully. The food was hot, plentiful and tasty. Guests were seated at tables covered with crisp white tablecloths and served themselves from a banquet table. Particular favourites were the seafood, vegetarian and gourmet skewer platters. We had our own bar and it was all very convenient and private Just brilliant! Thank-you.

Big portions for snitzels , food Was cooked well , came out quick considering was mothers day, we have a booking for next Friday for my sons bday dinner, might try a pasta or steak next time for me :)

Food was good, though a long wait due to reduced staff. Got to watch the laziest bloke ever function as the Host of the restaurant on a pretty quiet night. He didn't once help the sole waitress deliver meals or clean plates from the tables.
I wouldn't employ him; in fact if I was the waitress I'd ask for half of his pay too!

Food is average. Isn't bad but isn't good. The veggies and potato that come with steak are very bland. Mushroom gravy is decent thou.

Will say customer service is amazing and friendly.

Been here several times because it's a convenient location but quite disappointed with their food. Stay away from the pasta, its quite tasteless and I was disappointed with the chicken wings (hard and dry), fried calamari and this fried seafood platter (tasted old). Best to probably stick with the steaks. I can probably say I liked their potato skins and their drinks made in a jug. They did once have this cold prawns and oyster dish last year which was fantastic but only seasonal. If you want better food nearby, I suggest trying Graziers Steakhouse on Ross River Road.

Had a very nice meal here a week ago. It was the fishermen's basket (I think). Great service by friendly staff. I ordered a kid's meal which wasn't what I thought it would be (and my daughter didn't like it). Staff happily exchanged it with a smile which was very much appreciated. I definitely recommend this venue. I also think the meals have improved from 12 months ago since we were last here.

Staff helpful. Ordered 3 meals. Chicken, fish and steak. Chicken arrived, overcooked and dry. An hour later after asking where the other 2 meals were, we finally got them. Both meals were Ok. Just late.

Food was slow in coming out. I personally HATE the main item on the plate to be placed on TOP of the food. If I wanted soggy chips I would ask for soggy chips.
Happens in every restaurant.
You got to physically move the food around on the plate to cut it up.

Tried to scan the barcode, wouldn't work. Went to the website, handed over all my private details, got to ordering, then had to put in all my details with. Card, still didn't work so I walked out and ate elsewhere. So much for the hospitality industry

The meals were very large great value for the price. Nice staff too easy to get too.

Lovely Staff fantastic food good place to eat but beers are expansive also if your in the gaming room they dont offer any complementary drinks bit mean.

Had a fantastic meal at Tom's Tavern. If you want a big feed you will not be disappointed. Great value and friendly staff, well worth a visit.

No pedestrian access after 4:30.

We stood for a bit at the "wait to be seated" sign before being taken to our reserved table. Everyone was also seated into one corner instead of spreading out around the room. Other than that, the staff was very friendly and quick with food and drinks. The food was also good.
