Lovely restaurant with delicious food, great service and great atmosphere. Highly recommend!

Great food. My wife's fussy and had the best oysters she's had in a long time. We got 4 entrees and a desert to share and all were fresh, tasty and well prepared. Service was very good. Restaurant was full and everything was very high quality. Definitely recommend.

Had a lovely delicious evening with my hubby. Great service, atmosphere and food! Definitely worth the experience. The seafood platter was very scrumptious and the garlic pizza was the perfect flavour.

This restaurant never seems to fail. Nice spot, right on The Strand overlooking the ocean and Magnetic Island. The food is always good. In fact, totally rated! I just ordered an arugula salad and wow, one of the best salads I've ever had. But, the chocolate caramel crème brulee is just totally decadent. To die for. Nice!!

Had dinner here. Short walk from our accommodation. Liked the menu so we chose to come here. Had the salad that I can't pronounce with chicken. Hubby had the steak sandwich, which he was impressed with. Quite impressed with our waiter Nick. Very efficient and engaging but not intrusive. If we're ever in Townsville again I'd be a return customer.

We had lunch here today and loved. We had the oysters mignonette, spring rolls, and garlic prawns.

The oysters were delicious, and mignonette was so refreshing. The only issue here was shell in each oyster I had. The garlic prawns were amazing. Cooked in a garlic butter confit style onions with onions... absolutely delicious!

Service was great, attentive, and quick. We will come back.

Very kind front staff and good chefs, they took care of all the details and sent my food quickly.
I am not a big fan of fish tacos but the coleslaw with avocado was a really good match with the battered fish which was juicy inside and crispy outside.
Thai Beef Salad was just perfect, meat was cooked between a rare and medium rare, it was cold to be a Grilled steak but it didn't annoying me as it was a meat on top of a salad. The dressing has a perfect balance of flavours and the peanuts definitely gave a special touch of Thailand food.
All the food seems to be fresh.
As a Chef living in Townsville, I totally recommend this restaurant.
My special compliments to the chef and kitchen team, I can see them passionate and hard work through the food.

We really enjoyed our meal at the Watermark tonight. The atmosphere was great, the food delicious and the service excellent. The fish pasta that we had was very tender and tasty and the caesar salad was outstanding. I would definitely recommend having a meal at the Watermark especially at sunset.

Now I would of given 5 star for the food but the entrees lacked, we got the chicken wings which were so dry and old, it wasn't a good start but im glad we stayed because I ordered the lamb shoulder for main which was amazing! Fall off the bone, and the mint paste topped it off.

Lidia went above and beyond in providing us warm and exceptional customer service on both visits to the watermark. She also gave us some great recommendations for spots to see for our next visit to Townsville. Thank you Lidia, our dining experience wouldn't have been the same without you!

Ambience top notch.
Waiters are too busy but are very kind and well mannered. But it's hard to get an exact idea what you are ordering without any picture of the food item you wish to have. That side I was a bit disappointed.

Second time visiting The Watermark while in Townsville. Really enjoyed my food both times. This visit was definitely my favorite meal yet.

My only gripe is the resin on the wooden tabletops are not appealing. Although the majority of people would know the stickiness was due to the resin reacting with the heat of the sun, others may not and would put this down to 'dirty tables'.

I would re-sand the tops to eliminate any bad feedback. It's not pleasant where you can't even pick the menu up because it's stuck to the table your going to be eating your meal from!

Had such a wonderful breakfast this morning at watermark with two friends. Chilled relaxed vibe with spectacular sea views! Breakfast was delicious, runny eggs, avocado and gluten free bread alternatives. They also have the best coffee on the strand! Thanks watermark!

I went yesterday night and was amazing! We had 1kg of mussels are they were delicious, we had then 2 main and they were so generous, good place for price-quality food!

Saw Watermark recommended as a must-do in Townsville and it's no wonder why. The staff were amazing and friendly (especially Lidia - thanks for the chats) and the view, drinks and food were brilliant. We shared scallops & oysters for an entree and then fish Tacos and muscles for the mains. So fresh, tasty and filling. The cocktails (especially the Watermark Margarita) were spot on.
Highly recommended for a meal in Townsville.

Lidia was fantastic. She provided a great friendly service. Whatever you're paying her, she is worth more. She is a credit to your establishment. We will definitely be back.Only complaint in the whole evening was it was very busy so it was very loud for my aged Aunt who was celebrating a birthday. We did have a large table of people also celebrating a birthday beside us and they were quite loud. Overall a great evening made more special because the staff took the time to give my Auntie a lovely birthday card for her 79th Birthday. Many thanks.

Great venue for the family, friends or for a celebration. Perfectly located along the strand, ocean breeze and plenty of life and fresh air. The staff are a fabulous bunch, treated us great and where just wonderful. The food is good, actually very good, could not fault it at all. Had a fabulous time. Highly recommend. Enjoy xxxxx

The service and food is fantastic.
We had our dog with us and asked if he could sit in the outside area with us.
That was no problem at all. Then the bar tender bought our dog out a bowl of cold water and a dog treat on a plate!! Now that is service. Our food was bought out in good time and was good value for money. Loved the tunes being played and the view of the ocean as well. Highly recommend a visit.

We had the best diner in November 2022 fresh seafood amazing oysters and great service the waiters and waitresses are doing a fantastic job. We went back yesterday and the service and food is still amazing, I specially loved my kingfish salad, Only the oysters were a miss that time, with a really vinegary taste even if ordered natural so we asked to no have them at the end. But it can happen and the waitress was really nice. We'll be back

Nice restaurant, Lucky enough to made a reservation just hours earlier and they had availability on a great spot. Food was good, tasty and hot. Service by Lidia was spot on, polite and helpful.

Service was really good, staff were friendly and quick. Atmosphere was great.

Unfortunately we ordered the seafood platter for 2. It cost $150 and just wasn't that nice. The Oyster Kilpatricks had almost no sauce and literally just tasted like fried bacon, the rest of it was nice but I don't think the pricing was great value. The other food was good, just not up to the Watermark standard I feel.

Quality meals, great staff

Pros: Simple, well cooked meals. Efficient and attentive staff. Great beer selection. Open air, lots of TV screens
Cons: Slightly expensive for something that does everything very well but doesn't have anything "exceptional" about it

One of my frequent visit places! Food portion is HUGE! Staff were super attentive and quick to spot any one who needed any help with anything and most importantly, very friendly & genuinely happy to help. Food is always fresh and tasted so good with quick serving time. Always happy to be there!

Wait times were minimal. Staff were friendly and efficient. The owner was on site and bussing tables and ensuring quality and quality it was. This is in the absolute top 2 meals and dining experiences I've had. Everything was fresh and delicious. You will not be disappointed!

Food was good. The reason for the 3 stars is because the guy with the long dreads wouldn't let myself and another random guy to order food because it wasn't 5 o'clock..the time was 4:58. When the other guy said that's weird. The guy with the dreads replied "how hard is it to wait"

I travel quite a lot for my work and definitely did not expect to find one of the best pizzas I've ever eaten at this place. The thin crust base had the perfect texture which is a highlight on its own. The flavour of the Chilli Prawn Pizza was perfectly balanced. I gave the rightful appreciation to the chef who carried a strong Italian accent. Now it all makes sense.

My family and I had a lovely Mother's Day breakfast here, the food was delicious and portioned perfectly. Coffee was great, and to our surprise the orange juice was freshly squeezed! The staff were all attentive and friendly. Would definitely eat here again :)

We had a great smoothie + some coffees here, very friendly staff and quiet on a Monday morning. Only slight downside was the man working the register - after asking if we could split the bill and explaining what I'd had, he charged me for the whole lot. Luckily I didn't tap my card. He did the same thing to the next guy in our group of 3 ‍♂️

Nice modern Australian cuisine located centrally. Casual atmosphere with friendly staff and really good seafood. Nothing seems too much trouble and their menu has something for everyone. If you're in Townsville and looking for something casual, this place is for you.Highly recommend.

Very popular eatery on the Strand. Menu is wide ranging with both light and main meals. Very quick service, staff keen to keep rotating tables during COVID restrictions

First time in Townsville and this will definitely be the highlight of my stay. Amazing food with great service. Danny's hospitality was unbelievable, definitely recommend this place to everyone

Just dropped in for breakfast with my friends. Good service, quite quick considering a bit of a crowd. Reasonably priced too.

Well cooked and presented lunch. They charge $4.50 for gravy. That's unaustralian! The group of people I was with all commented that the meals were nice but are slightly more expensive than normal.
