We've been going to the Royal virtually every Tuesday night for the past few months and the service and meals have been excellent. The greeting staff are very obliging and nothing seems to be a problem. The tables are busy and the menu variety is very adequate. Portions are very good and the presentation of food by the kitchen is creative. I like the easy method of ordering right at the table with the QR Code arrangement. The menu and drinks selection is easy and payment is quick. Good on you Royal! You are still a grand ol' gal!

A small group of us headed here for lunch this week. This is a very pleasant space (trees and breeze); music was low enough that we could hear each other (always a bonus), service was friendly and efficient, and we (mostly) enjoyed our meals. One colleague was mistakenly given a small serve of the roast pumpkin salad; hubby had the normal size of this one, which was fresh, and flavourful. Two colleagues ate the chicken Parmi, while another had the chicken schnitzel. They all said they enjoyed the tender (good-sized) chicken. I ate (a fair bit of) the fish and chips which was enormous, very generous with a small fresh salad and chips. Fish was tender and nicely battered; chips plentiful. Our youngest colleague had a big bowl of chips with 3 sauces, which she happily hoarded and devoured. Another colleague was - shall we say? - disappointed with his vego schnitzel burger, which was dry, not well-flavoured and sat in his stomach for hours "like a bowling ball". Mm I always wonder why people want to pretend that a 'plant-based burger' is worthwhile?:) But hey, that's just me. Overall, we had a fine time and on the whole, enjoyed our mid-week lunch.

Both the environment and the food are great! Good price and good taste. I will definitely be back!

You promote a $20 Parma on a Tuesday yet it's half the size of a normal Parma. Cut in half (literally). If having a promo deal, it should offer a full meal not a meal that costs almost as much but saves you 50% of the cost. What a rip off!

You promote it as 200gm. Chicken is $10/kg, it's not an eye fillet steak which costs $50/kg, just give customers a normal chicken breast vs one cut in half. Promoting 200gm of chicken that only costs retail $2 is hardly anything worthy of promotion.

It just screams 'how can we screw over our customers best' let's just reduce the price of a $29 Parma to $20 and give them half the chicken. Should be $15 at best. AVOID
