Came for lunch and ordered 2 chicken Parma's with chips. Feels like they were sitting somewhere and were just reheated. So dry but still cold in the middle and the chips were almost inedible, they had been recooked or reheated many times. No salad on the plate like you'd usually get with a pub meal. Also had to ask for our jug of soft drink.

Went to the Royal today for Christmas lunch. A great day. A big thank you to Georgie, Ben and the rest of the team. Everyone was friendly and extremely helpful. The food was delicious and plenty of it. A great selection of Christmas classics as well as an array of other delicious dishes, really good value for money. We will definitely be back. Thanks for an excellent day.

I have been to this venue recently and has been a lovely experience. Nice food options, and near public transport.

We booked a table for a family get together. When we arrived we were escorted to a wonderful corner table with a great view. The waitress, Jodie I think her name was, took our drinks order straight away.
She then followed with suggestions for dinner.
Great personality she has.
