Wow!!
We've lived in Lobethal for nearly 3 years and still haven't been to visit The Lobethal hotel! but we finally did the other night and we where so so glad we did.

I would like to firstly start off with the fantastic service from Harry on the phone when booking, I explained our son has Autism and ADHD, so if we could he sat in the corner to make the night more bearable for our son we would really appreciate it. I spoke to a young man when we got there (not sure if it was Harry or not) but he told us where the quieter corner/table would be to suit our son. I was so grateful for this, it's stressful going out with a special needs child but this was stress free.

Now to the food
One again.. wow!!
My husband had a beef schnitzel with dianne and I had a beef parmi. The schnitzels where great quality, cooked to perfection, I kept raving on how it was the best parmi I've had in a long time. The side salads where brilliant, most places do the boring cucumber, tomato and rocket side salad but not here. The side salad had crumbled feta, capsicum, cucumber, tomato and the most delicious dressing.
My son had dino nuggets and chips, which he loved. He also thoroughly enjoyed the kids ice cream 🍨

Thank you for a great night, great food and service. We can't wait to be back.

Good car park. Food menu comprehensive. Seniors menu and food good. Regular main meals of generous proportions. Oder at the bar for food and drinks. Sadly, no barister or any formal of coffee/ tea

This was an amazing family experience. The meals were good, but the service was amazing. The friendliest staff I've ever seen. A true country pub.

Awesome service. Very busy and we were told upon ordering we would have to wait. Meal took a while but got a free beer to pass the time. Thanks heaps guys. Meal was yummy and worth the wait.

Lovely welcome on arrival. Friendly staff and service, good meals which were available in half sizes which suited us. A pleasant thank you on our departure. Top spot.

Fast and efficient service. Had the butterfish which had thin fresh batter, more generous salad than most pubs and just the right amount of chips (as in not huge by most places). We live 5 mins away and will definitely be back!

Not fancy or trendy, but an old school Aussie country pub. Try the "Loabie" schnitzel. Friendly staff made us feel welcome!

Poor atmosphere, but the rude and unfriendly staff (Jeanine) was not what one would expect, especially in a Adelaide hills pub.

7 of us arrived without a booking during the Lights of Lobethal event, hoping for a table and to our delight the staff were accomodating, moving tables to enable us to have a meal. The service was fantastic and the food was awesome. Large serves, tasty and well priced (cheaper than other hotels in surrounding townships). My fish was light and crispy, the salad was well dressed and the chips were piping hot and seasoned well. So pleased we decided last minute to try our luck, we will definately be back.

5 friends and I had lunch there for the first time and the food was delicious and great value. Service was excellent and the staff were very friendly and courteous . We will be back.

Dropped in for lunch, it is a pretty basic menu but the food was well cooked and presented. Staff were helpful and prices reasonable, give it a go.

Lovely lunch. Had bangers and mash. Tuna patties were good as well.

Had a few schnitzels and drinks here for a mid week lunch, service was friendly and the food was out to us within 10 minutes of getting there which was amazing. The beef schnitzel was perfect, very well cooked and not chewy what so ever. Will be back :)

Fairly priced meals, great fast service. Burger was homemade and impressive. Steak was pretty good a bit freshly and schnitzel was nice. All salads were fresh. Only downfall is we booked the table way in advance and got sat right near the doorway when there was plenty of other tables available. Meals pictured: kids burger, beef schnitzel, porterhouse steak. Also had nut sundae not pictured that was pretty good.
