First time visit to the Junction hotel - been meaning to go for quite a while. Booked a table for 5 but given a table for 4. Okay, mistakes happen, all good. Had to approach a staff member to sort that out. Looked at the menu boards on the way in and saw the examples of dishes served -looked promising. Ordered at the counter. Me - a steak - medium rare, chips and salad. When it arrived, the steak looked good - perfectly cooked medium rare. The salad - 2 cos leaves from the end of a lettuce bunch - you know the ones, the small leftover leaves right in the middle of the core. 2 cherry tomatoes cut in half and chunks of red onion sprinkled here and there. Dressed - not sure. Chips were the good type - large pub style but some must have fallen off the plate on the way to the table as the scarcity of chips was obvious. Loved the steak though - tick right there. Okay, so let\'s try dessert. Had the apple and rhubarb cake. It was okay but the apple and rhubarb measured the size of a 50 cent piece at the very bottom of the cake. Tiny amount of cream and a couple berries - no real compote to speak of. Kind of disappointed really as the pub came as a recommendation. Small serves with no real care - I wonder if the chef would accept this if it was served to them. Pity really.

Had a beautiful dinner here last night. Food, atmosphere and service fantastic. Our waitress was the best we can remember. We didn't get her name but she had plaits in her hair - she loved our little dog and genuinely looked like she loves her job. Looked after us great. Would dine here again!

Just visited The Junction last night for the first time since the renovations. It looks amazing! I love the ambience and vibe too. We ordered the Mexican parmi, the Peri Peri Chicken Burger, and a 250g medium Rib Fillet. We also had some cheeky cocktails as well. As soon as any waiter noticed our glasses were empty, they were immediately onto it - asking if we wanted any more drinks and filling our water glasses too. Before the renos, the staff were equally just as lovely, courteous and professional. Safe to say, the staff last night did not disappoint. The food was delicious, my compliments to the chefs, the service was impeccable and I could not fault anything last night! Will definitely be back again with my extended family! Thank you!

The staff were friendly and helpful. The ambience was good with a semi outdoor area. There is a QR code to select your own tunes for the pipes music. The \'beer is cold\' and meal was good value and well prepared. Would be great to catch-up with friends or for a family. There is a play area for kids also.

The food is top quality. The clean and colourful atmosphere is refreshing. The children's play area is fabulous. The staff, including Mitch and Bella, are top-shelf, genuine, happy people and remember your names when you return. Our family certainly recommends The Junction!
