We really enjoyed our dinner, just two of us. Large meals. Only neg was the server brought out our mains before clearing our table from entree's and proceeded to squeeze them onto the table with no room.

Love this pub. We live locally and especially enjoy the weekly specials, which are such great deals. The food is awesome, venue has several great areas which would suit any type of gathering but the best thing about this hotel is the amazing staff. Each area is always well staffed which is unusual post covid. Management must be doing something right! Tom at the bar is exceptional - nothing is too much trouble and he makes an amazing cocktail. Highly recommend

As a pub Sir Henry Barkly deserves 5 stars. The food seems to be standard pub fare like parmi and fish&chips but their kitchen is better than average quality. I ordered dumplings to have something smaller and the portion was actually great size! What's even better the presentation and taste was above what I expected/ I will definitely be back here for more!

Friendly staff, tasty food (tofu stirfry and tofu Moroccan salad) and nice atmosphere. High ceiling in 'beer garden' area (earthy brick undercover area) made it very comfortable on a 32 degrees day. Would certainly come back again when in the area.
