One of the best RSL venues we have visited. Meals are both Australian and Chinese. Had a taste from both,
excellent. Senior meals are large, affordable and varied. Great value for money. Although very busy, staff were very friendly,helpful and prompt. Weekends its probably better to book as it is such a busy venue. Dined 4 times, meals were quick , tasty and delicious. Kid friendly too!

Good experience eating here, decent selection of beers, but a surprisingly large menu with many Asian options which the locals seem to be eating. Plenty of options inside as far as where to sit and I really loved the war memorabilia and photos. Service was good and I quite enjoyed my steak, though was a little gristly....but the price was good so can't complain too much, I'd go back but would try a different meal choice

We had a Beautiful send off for my Dear Uncle/Godfather here last week. What an interesting, inviting and well set up RSL. The bar staff were caring, kind and lovely to deal with. I guess it was my Uncle's second home, he loved the RSL. Our dinner was delicious however I was disappointed with how one of the waitresses treated my sister when she delivered her meal. The gentleman at the entrance was fantastic, very friendly and a lovely person to chat with. I purchased some beautiful jewellery from him in support of your RSL. When we went to leave my sisters and Mum decided they also wanted what I had. Out the back he went bringing out beautiful items for them to see and ultimately buy. Thank you for looking after us and sharing your memories of our beautiful Uncle and my Dear Godfather TANK. He would be so proud of everything everyone did for him and for being there. He didn't like to be the centre of attention but the photo with his mates certainly shows he was that day. We love him and will truly miss him. Thank you again. 🦋???"🌹

Absolutely delicious food n a great time if ur into going out

In Shepparton over new years, and took my family for dinner. Despite it being very busy, which was to be expected, the service was friendly and professional.

I ordered what turned out to be the best chicken parmigiana I can remember having. No complaints whatsoever with anything.

Food and drinks are well priced, and as I've found to be the case in every RSL, the staff seem legitimately interested and friendly. Always feels a bit more personal.

Will definitely be back when I'm in town again.

Large menu which also includes a full Chinese food menu. The food we ate was fresh, tasty and all serves were a large size. Could not believe how cheap it was! Only $55 including drinks for the 3 of us. Would recommend. Book ahead. It was quite busy.

My first RSL experience in Australia after being here for 12 years and the bar has certainly been set high! Super friendly staff and an awesome menu! A great display of war memorabilia and you can clearly see that it has been set up with a great deal of care and attention to detail.

Had dinner here 2 nights in a row, first night I ordered from the Asian section of menu. Sweet and sour pork and fried rice. It was the most bland food rice I've ever eaten and if I wasn't so hungry the pork would have been close to inedible. Over cooked and chewier than a good jerky.
Second night I opted to avoid the Asian section. Ordered the beef schnitzel, which was quiet nice but the pepper sauce which I asked for had a weird flavour about it and the veggies were well over cooked and mushy.
Will go elsewhere next time I'm in town.

We travelled 8 hours from South Australia to Shepparton. We had a few drinks and dinner at the Shepparton RSL. OMG, the food was amazing and such huge servings. The staff were lovely, and a huge shout out to Gina she's awesome.

After travelling from Geelong for a couple of days We came here for Dinner on the 26th of January (Australia Day ) Wow the service was fantastic and the Meals what can I say except they were so Good we came back the following night the 27th I would highly recommend it.

Wait time: 35 minutes

1. Porterhouse with veges:
Ordered medium, but the steak was served medium well, dry, refered to photo, lots of fat part. Pepper sauce is not great, weird color n sweet. Beans were frozen food. The rest is not bad.

2. Roast pork with veges:
Meat is dry, with gravy but the taste is weak. Crackles were very dry.

3. Chicken Parma with chips:
Parma itself is good but the chips were bad.

Customer service is not bad.

Yeah the food is decent enough, definitely came out quickly despite being quite busy. Good prices. Wide range on offer as well.

Great meals, love their food. Will give 5 stars if they had a delivery service. Well presented and friendly staff

I had garlic prawns and it was so yummy (if you love garlic, you will like it) and my husband had sweet and sour pork, he said it was a bit chewie and it had less flavour. We had to wait for 35-40 minutes till the food came out, It was so long. The parking area was full so we had to park on the streets.

We went mid week for lunch around 1:30pm. The staff on the door were very friendly and helpful. We went to the bistro which was very busy. Lunch was ordered and arrived very quickly. My parents were extremely happy with both the size of the meal and the very friendly service. The staff make a real effort to be both pleasant and helpful. Lovely venue. Very reasonable alcohol prices. Meals are plentiful and generally of high quality. Pokie venue. Wheelchair friendly. Plenty of parking. All in all a high quality RSL with all the normal RSL features you would expect from these establishments.

We live out of town and after browsing through the reviews on where to eat for lunch we decided to try the RSL for the first time. Very happy with our decision with good sized meals at a good price, good atmosphere, polite staff and well organised with lots to choose from the menu. This won't be the last time that we eat there.

Good fantastic and at a really reasonable price. Their Friday night meat raffle is massive, service first class & very friendly. recommend if wanting a good meal when in Shep.
