We had a lovely lunch over the weekend, the meals were amazing, the staff were great especially the Manager, he is a really nice & friendly down to earth person, he asked us if everything was Ok with our meals & he was really lovely with other customers too. There was an elderly man at the bar where the Manager made an effort to go & talk to him, this is exceptional customer service, thank you for making customers feel important, the elderly man came past our table & had a chat, he also mentioned the Manager was the best in the business, we definitely agree to that! We also went to a live show & dinner late last year & we had a fantastic time, the staff & the Manager provided first class service. We will definitely be coming back when we are in the area & telling our friends what an amazing pub & excellent Management from the amazing manager, thank you for the fantastic customer service & lovely atmosphere.

Anyway like the place as it gas pool tables.. used to. Bistro was great years ago.
Atmosphere is fine.
Okay little spot.

Confusing visit! We ordered a 150g medium well porterhouse and a 300g medium porterhouse - we were first brought out two 150g porterhouses, one medium well and one medium, but the staff came over very quickly before we had a change to bring it to their attention and rectified it very quickly.

However, we were brought out a 300g porterhouse with bbq sauce, not gravy as requested, and my 150g porterhouse was the thickness of a sizzle steak and mainly fat! Unfortunately we were both disappointed with our meals.

Our drinks order apparently didn't print out at the bar, so hubby had to ask for the drinks, and same went for our daughter's icecream at the end of our meal.

Honestly, staff were super friendly, and the environment is lovely - just a bit of a disappointing meal, and we were both left still very hungry but too worried to order again in case it happened again!

Great pub with about 10 excellent pool tables, nice outdoor area, and some of the nicest food we have tasted. The staff are very friendly and go that bit extra to really give excellent service. Huge screen TV and separate gaming area. Was there on Australia Day, and the games and Jag The Joker were great fun. The manager is a really nice fellow and always happy for a chat. $6 schooners of VB and Five Seeds Cider on tap at $8.70 for a schooner. Had the Seniors Roast of the day with plum pudding and custard dessert for $20, and it was delicious.

We had dinner here last night ,meals were very good and good size too. Service was good and quick. Only criticism was the music was a little loud in the bistro. Couldn't hear the person on the other side of the table. Will definitely go back.

We had an Annual Dinner / Presentation Night for our Car Club in the Corrigan Room recently and the room, the meals, service and staff were all excellent. The price and standard of the meals and venue hire could not be faulted.
Highly recommended.

We had a function at Sandown Park Hotel in the function room and it was amazing. The staff were incredible and the food was amazing. The set up was perfect and they were so accomodating. The venue manager Wendy was so easy to deal with and nothing was an issue. She made sure everything went smoothly and we didn't have to worry about a thing! Highly recommend and will definitely be back there for more functions. Overall a great experience that exceeded our expectations.

I had my son's 1st birthday in the function room and it was just amazing! Robyn and Kat were great on the day and Ariana was easy to deal with. Food was awesome and everyone had such a great time.

I took my mum for lunch and we both enjoyed it. Large bistro. Being a Monday it was very quiet. Meals came out quickly. I got the rump steak which was cooked to perfection. Very tender. Certain meals were discounted to cater for the seniors. Average prices. Friendly staff. Very nice aesthetics. Definitely going back.

Great Venue, Awesome Service and Good portion of food. Venue is always busy on Saturday night so make a booking as early as possible. Ample parking but space is a bit tight between cars.

We had our daughter's 1st birthday here last Sunday and Mandy and Robyn were so wonderful and hospitable. Dealing with Mandy from the initial booking to the end was such an easy process. The service was fantastic. We all had an amazing day. Would highly recommend having a function here. Thank you so much ladies.

Was a fantastic place to stay, turned up after midnight and they couldn't have been more accommodating. Nothing was a problem check in was so smooth , bed was comfortable. Shower was incredible. Everything was superb absolutely fantastic 5 stars all the way .

Had lunch with friends on a Saturday and enjoyed 5/5 service. Good old fashioned friendly service, by staff who seemed happy to be working and were very friendly.

Food was nice, well timed, pricing very good and facilities clean. I would be happy to go back again.

Kids meals were very generous and the playground had 2 slides and a few electronic paid games. Free colouring pages and pencils also provided.

Some parts were a little dated/the curb appeal is a little tired, but I'd rather that, than pay extra for unnecessary decor upgrades!

I've met here to eat with family on visits to greater Melbourne. Food is above and beyond, drinks are great, and service is exceptional. This time we stayed for 2 nights in the accomm.... awesomely comfortable, and clean. Amenities were perfect. My only improvement if room allowed, would be table and chairs. Will stay here again in the future! Thanks for a great stay!🙂

The rooms were spacious and clean Love the little private balcony to step out to. The staff were helpful. The motel is well away from the hotel so no real noise coming from there. The shower was good but it did go cold a few times while I was under it

Good standard pub. Clean and tidy. Decor is very dated and unchanged for about 50+ years.

Meals are satisfactory, with seniors meals a bargain.

Large lounge and poker machine facility.

Last week we were a bus load of 50 seniors from Hampton Park church, who had made arrangements for lunch at 2.30 pm after visiting St Patrick's Cathedral. However the celebrations took longer than expected. I kept in touch with Cathie, who assured me its ok and the staff are on standby. We reached an hour late and were warmly greeted by staff who were exceptional in their service. the ordering process went smoothly. The food was sumptuous and enjoyed by all. Will surely recommend and visit again.

Amazing lunch... my friend and I both had the Chicken Parma with a choice of sides (no paying for a salad you just won't eat) I wasn't expecting big things, but I was incredibly happy with what arrived. It was a great size and the amount of topping was fantastic ??'?. I can't wait to go back there. Plus you order at your table via a QR code it was so convenient and excellent.

Had my engagement party here in September. The staff were amazing, friendly, helpful and ensured we had everything we needed. SO much food, no one went hungry and plenty of room for everyone. They even had a photo booth available which was a hit!

It's great here. Highly recommended. Meals are large, fresh, and of good quality. Also very reasonably priced. Cocktails are $10! Staff are friendly, professional, and efficient. We were served by Imogen who was smart and delightful.

Just had dinner there for the first time. We were greeted by Judas, who was so nice! Judas showed us to our seats and explained everything about ordering and signing up for discounts in great detail (he even offered to take our form to the gaming room for us), all with such a happy attitude. We didn't expect much but Judas, you made our night! We will definitely be back! Food and drinks were great and the waitresses were nice and friendly, too! Great dinner, thanks!

Food has always been very good and the staff all very friendly and helpful which is very much appreciated as we have a meal here after visiting my mother's grave.

Clean, quiet and cheap mid week lunch. Not a 5 star rating because sauce on Parma a little tangy indicating could have been cooked down a little more. Will be back.

We stayed overnight in the newly renovated rooms and loved it!! We had an amazing meal in the bistro after a few drinks. The staff are amazing and couldn't be more helpful. We work away from home a lot (been away for 11 out of last 12 weeks) and staying here made us feel like we were with family. Thank you and we hope to see you all again soon :)

Even though there are no vegan meals, the chef made me a fantastic fried rice and a side of roast vege's. The staff were amazing! So helpful and friendly and a credit to the venue. We were really happy (add a vegan option and I'll be ecstatic.

We arrived on Sunday for lunch without a booking. Despite a packed dining room, the staff quickly moved tables around to accommodate us. The food was sensational & only surpassed by the amazing service of the staff who were run off their feet. Highly recommended!!

I stayed 2 nights as l had a funeral service across the road at the Springvale cemetery. The customer service was very good. The room needs updating though its $99 a night. The shower n wall grout needs a thorough scrub, l told the housekeeper about the shower handles as l had to tighten them and soon would come off & also about the big spider that lived in the shower, there is no fresh air unless the door is left open. They give you a breakfast pack but no bowl, no iron or ironing board, 1 coat hanger. Updated TV & not so soft bed....But for me it was for a purpose.

Good local pub. Standard Woolies menu, steaks good and reasonable drinks prices. Seniors menu particularly good value.

Food was amazing, service was quick and the employees we had serving us was absolutely amazing and friendly. The chief's even made sure the kids food weren't to hot! Absolutely love coming here
