Amazing food, with even better service. The staff went above and beyond to cater for our family of 5. The meals were large and incredibly good value for money. When we visit Melbourne again, we will definitely come back!

Absolute favourite for my Friday and Saturday nights! Their chicken Parma is insanely good, and can never get enough of it. Plus, the staff is amazing, always friendly and attentive. Love the vibes here! Definitely a must-try spot if you're craving delicious food and top-notch service. For sure going back!

Great casual place. Staff are very pleasant and whilst there is a big gaming area there are still large dining and outdoor areas away from the gaming if it's not your thing- open late too which is a bonus for us night owls

We always have a great time here. They are very accommodating and never rush you to leave or feel unwelcome. The food is also lovely and great value. We love it here. Thank you.

Do not recommend the bistro food. Arancini was frozen in the middle, it was cooked more and we got it back minus the 2 we cut into. They were oily and not nice. Veal schnitzel was on the specials menu. The veal crumb was dripping in oil, it wasn't pleasant to eat at all. Chips were over cooked, I couldn't even put my fork into them. 'Garlic' chicken Kiev, not much garlic and chicken was dry. Only good thing about the meal was the salad.

Had a week night visit to our 'local' pub .. The Royal Oak. Never let down by the excellent food made by 'Russell'. Always hot, quick and tasty food. His cooking would put a lot of so called prominent eateries to shame. We'll be back! 5 ⭐️

Had a function with 35 people. This is a great hotel. The staff are very friendly. The food was great. Great value for money. Great gluten free options, they're very accommodating.

Gotta love The Royal Oak.

No nonsense food and a good bar. Specials are good. 2 parmas for $33 on Tuesdays.

The absolute worst meal we have ever had. We ordered the ribs and Parma to share and the serving size was tiny! We go to many ALH pubs due to the Woolworths discount and this is by far the worst one we have been to. Never again!

Royal Oak appears to be a bastion of a cozy, relaxed pub in the middle of unrelentingly trendy Richmond. We enjoyed our lunch and nicely-priced beers. Staff were very friendly and talked cheerily with our footy-mad eight year-old

Great pub to watch UFC fights as it's a "UFC Pub" which means they show all of the pay per view fights on the big screen with sound throughout the venue. They had multiple large creens showing the fight when we were last there. The food was pretty good, standard pub style. There's also a tram stop directly out the front of the venue for easy access.

We were in Richmond for two nights after covid restrictions eased. We came across this pub. Best find ever! Huge meals & the food was divine! We came here every day either for lunch or dinner. Russell the chef is a lovely, friendly character. He made us feel most welcome & boy can he cook! You won't be disappointed! We'll be back.

For your corner dive bar this place serves it purpose well. Pokie fiends rejoice! Ive spent a few night here doing work and study till the early morning. Havent tried the food but Elgar the late night bartender is nothing but an inspiration to hospitality, such a lovely human.
