Very disappointed at my recent experience here. To put it bluntly, the customer service was appalling. At the end of the night, a mouse was running around the restaurant. While I can understand this can happen, the staffs response to this was very disappointing. When the mouse was pointed out to the staff, we were met with a woman in a very condescending tone say "there are lots of mice and rats in Richmond... we can't do anything about it." We live in Richmond and I can confidently say that any restaurant I have dined in, has not had vermin running around. I had a friend with me who has a genuine phobia of mice and she was understandably upset by this. There was no acknowledgement what so ever that having a mouse openly running around a restaurant, could be an issue for some people. All of the staff also spent the majority of the evening standing around together laughing and our tables were not cleared for quite some time. The man serving me at the bar did not know how to make a lemon lime bitters, nor did he know what Pinot Gris was. Definitely won't be back and I will be telling anyone I know not to come to this venue.

Two people on service at lunchtime, one of them behind the bar and the other one frantically serving food. Difficult to ask for our booking when we needed to line up to order at the bar to even ask which table was ours.

The food is pretty bland and it takes a while to cook. We were a table of six and our orders all came out at different times, even though we ordered together. One questions where the salt was, because it wasn't in the food or on the table.

The ginger beer is nice. The floor is so sticky I nearly had to surrender my shoes to it. I probably wouldn't go back.

The food was average, and the service was super slow. Charged us extra for a dish we ordered and delivered something completely different. When asked to change it back to the original paid for meal the waiter simply told me that it might take up 30 minutes or more and it's better for me to eat the dish that I didn't order.

The Richmond social is a very visualisey pleasing venue with a good atmosphere and music, but that's where it all stops. The Parma here was appalling, the chicken tasted funny the param as a whole was under baked. It was honestly the worst Parma I have ever eaten. The staff where very untrained(To be fair they could be new). The chef needs to rework his parma.

Great place. Very good location. Well kept. Ample parking on the side streets.

It's got different areas inside which checks a lot of boxes in terms of the vibe you are looking for. From the semi outdoor seating to a nice dining area and even big family dining area all separated so that one does not disturb the other.

Good place for a impromptu work party or get together for sure, especially if you work down Swan Street.

My wife and l went for a late midweek lunch and everything was so good, so hot, so tasty and all for a most reasonable price as well.

Given fact that we're always looking for good lunch venues and that we are rather fussy our expectations were exceeded at the RICHMOND SOCIAL, Bridge Road, Richmond.

Always a favourite to drop in for a meal before the footy. Even when they're packed before the games the service is amazing. Food never disappoints and drink servings are super generous.
This time I decided on a change from my usual parma or burger and went with the pumpkin and sage ravioli. It was easiest the best I've ever had. Delish!!

Went for an early dinner around 6:45 on Thursday. Large space with good ambiance. The place was not full but filling up (have seen it almost full capacity on weekends and good weather days). Ordered the salmon and creamy prawn. Prawn was delicious, salmon was a bit dry but good (would have preferred a sauce with it , instead of the mash). Very friendly staff. Good service. (Menu in pics). Food was brought to the table pretty fast.
Not sure if there's an accessibility ramp around, as the front entrance had a few steps.

Great atmosphere but dissapointing that they weren't properly staffed to handle food orders for a Pies v Tigers game. Food took ages to get out.

Had another visit today and have changed my rating from 3 to 5 stars. Food was solid, atmosphere was great and the staff very attentive.

Came here with my partner and cousin.

Overall, the food was quite good. Pub quality is what you kind of expect.

The portion was quite generous, we took home the pizza for the next morning.

Nice environment for a sip and chat with your pals if you're in the area.

Clean vibes.

I thought it was worth trying the Richmond social for a pub meal.
Bunch of yobos there watching the cricket and cheering, fair enough.
The chicken Parma is alright, cheesey enough, tasty enough. And some fine standard beers on tap ???-🍅🧀???-🍺

Great vibe, staff are hilarious (cheers to the bartender with the sarcastic and witty sense of humour!), the facilities are clean and look modern. Great place to have a bevvy

A lot of good options on the menu, especially for sharing. Had the traditional chicken parma (there is a 'skinny' version) and it was good although a bit small with minimal salad. Sweet potato chips ordered separately were very yum

Food was good. Toilets easily accessible on the same floor, no steps for the over 70s, unlike all of the other pubs in Richmond South. But some drinks were forgotten, despite 'app ordering'. And when a late 20s bartender guy says "thanks love" to your 50yr old wife - it transports you back to 'The Vaucluse' as a kid playing space invaders. Not in a good way.

Extremely welcoming and the new refurbishment is just brilliant. The food is excellent value and portion size. Defiantly will be going again!
