Went up to the bar and the lady on bar said it was happy hour, poured 3 x $10 pints and then proceeded to make me pay $50 for the 3 pints after telling me it was only $10 a pint during happy hour. We had two tables booked and took chairs from the second table and brought them over to our main table. The bartender then stole our seats and said another table needed them regardless of our other table that was booked. She then said it was all our fault and we should sort it out ourselves.

Gave us the wrong food twice, tried to argue that this food was for our table even though we hadn't ordered yet. The Caesar salad didn't have Caesar dressing as the menu suggestion, it was just covered in mayo. It also came with eggs, which wasn't stated on the menu. Yes we know it normally comes with eggs but when you list every element on the menu, you don't expect something not listed to be in the dish. Also, when we arrived there was no where to check in or someone to seat you which is fine so we went and found our table. Later on while we were eating a staff member came up and asked if I was the person who booked this table and I said yes. She replied she was about to charge me a cancellation fee because I hadn't checked in. Ridiculous as there is no where to check in and I'm clearly sitting at the table I booked. The renovations were nice but the food and service really let them down.

Always loved this pub as the creme of the crop for Swan street. The new renovations look absolutely incredible. What makes it even better is the staff, Philipa always looks after us above and beyond what you would expect considering how busy it always is!

We dined at this place on a Saturday evening, and the food was delicious. We ordered several starters, and they were simply amazing! We loved the prawn dumplings with Laksa curry sauce, fried halloumi cubes, and croquettes. We will be back again for the food.

Whilst the renovations have created a great looking venue, the food is a rip off. Small portions and very expensive. When there is also a very long gap between meals coming out for people at the same table, it's a a major faux pas.
