Really enjoyed the visit almost time to close kitchen on a Sunday. But no hassles. Made very welcome. Host was fantastic made everyone feel special.

Came down from South Gippsland to catch up with family looking for a comfortable environment to chat and enjoy a meal.
Happy to say we were very pleasantly surprised. Publican was very welcoming and friendly. Service was quick, and the food was very enjoyable and prices very reasonable. Will definitely return next time we are in town

This place has changed owners a bit of the last few years. The vibe used to be great. Now there's no TAB out the back between the pokies and the smoking area, you can't eat outside even if you're a smoker. The locals own the smoking table out the front. All about the pokies that place now, got no soul anymore. The staff used to make that place a good place to go have a beer at. They're all gone now too

I just came to the rivera hotel I do know I have $2 coin and I do know that have to go bank but Saturday and just finished work run own business customers had to pay me $2 coin and come in ask if I can change just $100 not much but manager old man was not happy about it was talking to me so rude like at end for day it money if you are happy you should not be a manager because you bad customer service I full time gambling but I recommend no one to come to this when you anymore this place

Actually disappointed when I learnt that our favourite waitress Dawn had left :( she was the only reason why we went there! She is the most beautiful nature person who'd always us feel welcome! And we felt her warmth as a human being:). Unlike that old bloke who looks lost all the time !! A bit creepy!

Asked if the rump steak was any good and was told it was the best.

Three bites in and I almost choked to death on it.

Walked around the room like a headless chook bashing in the middle of my own chest with no response from anyone.

Luckily at the critical moment I regurgitated what couldn't be chewed into smaller pieces into my own hands.

Thanks to the chef, I've turned off steak for life and the Riviera to boot

Depends what night you go, who's cooking!. Don't like to watch the young man constantly scratch at his hair, then pick up our plates. Didn't like the food this particular night, didn't say a word, but staff who cleaned table did a couple of faces with an eye roll to finish off. Then I won $700_ on the pokies. SWEET.

Fantastic pub at Seaford on the Nepean Hwy they have great meals and icy cold tap beer‼️Live music of the highest calibre from AMA band in there today these guys were superb playing such a good variety of upbeat covers I was really impressed with their songllist and sound!!! Worth the stop on your next trip if your on the Nepean heading south towards mornington stop at The Riviera ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Not anything like this place used to be, since it's been taken over by a consortium, every aspect has gone downhill, used to be the best place for dinner on the penninsula.
That good atmosphere in the bar has also disappeared.

I ordered lamb souvlaki. I got a piece of flat bread with some soggy lettuce on it, some slices of fatty lamb and gravy, some salsa that was sour and inedible. As a patron of The rivi for 30 or more years I am considering not going back.

Today we enjoyed a lovely meal at the Rivera - there was one girl Eva working today taking care of meal orders drinks and also managing the public bar all by herself due to staff being unwell- she was simply awesome- professional at all times and managed to get everything done - we were very impressed indeed and would definitely be back 😀 thanks Eva- awesome job today!

Mediterranean parma was delicious. Rose wine was superb!

Riviera is a must go have a meal there place. We have been twice in a short time, the meals are first class, very reasonably priced, the staff can not do enough for you, and the service is tops. I meant to take some photos but forgot so next time. Anyway, check it out yourself. You won't be sorry.

A great local that we enjoy going to. We usually go to the sports bar but have also eaten in the bistro as well, staff are always friendly. Food is tasty and fair prices. The play area is smaller and could do with an upgrade and if they ever get approved for a roof top bar, that would be a real hit.

First time visitor. Loved it all. Not an overly large hotel but pleasant, friendly staff. Very helpful too. Extensive menu, so much so that our group will be back to work our way through it. Drinks good prices. Tri IA night was going gangbusters while we were there.

Nice food, alright customer service, but the atmosphere wasn't the best. I felt like they just tried to combine a bar and a family restaurant, and I felt it didnt work to well. It was very loud from a lot of young children running around the play equipment, and it felt a bit dirty in general.
Nice family place, but not that great for just some friends.

The menu was full over wonderful meals that is great for everyone.

Lived in Frankston all my life, never been to the Riverina until today. Great place. Great food. Highly recommended!! I'll be back many times.

My aussie Parma was to die for loves every last bit of it. My wife and our friends said the same thing meals were great. Only draw back was the noise it was quite loud in a small space. But the meal over came that. Great service cheers we will be back again.

Very impressed with the updated decor. Ample parking and pleasant staff. New chef new menu. The lunch we had was delightful all freshly cooked and not microwaved. I couldn't find anything to winge about not even the prices.

Had a beautiful dinner there tonight, the lady running the show was amazing! Still great
customer service no matter how busy it got.

The food was great the curry and Parma was delicious and my daughters veg with chicken nuggets was super fresh.

Great kids room also.

Recently moved to the area and visited The Riviera for the first time. Found that it was a really nice pub and had decent food and portion sizes. We had the kids with us and they enjoyed the play area too.

I used to love eating at The Riv Hotel Since management has changed the place has taken a dive. When Costa was running the kitchen the food was amazing. We ate there last night and it was terrible. Roast pork was dry. The crackle wasn't crackle it was sloppy rind. The vegetables were so undercooked they were almost raw! The oyster Kirkpatrick were very average, overcooked and bacon was dry. The calamari was chewy. The chicken parma was fine, bit dry, but nothing special. I won't eat here again. Such a shame.

Used to work here, has changed a lot now. But still a great place to drop in for people I remember and have a beer. Surely great food, wine etc. Place is now a bit more modern, newer technology etc.

Great place! Stopped for a Club Soda on my ride home. Will definately return for a meal soon.

Popped in here after the beach one day as it's opposite the foreshore but has free parking. Fantastic food, couldn't fault it. Went back 3 days later and again, great food, service is good, it's decently priced, there's an outdoor seating area to enjoy the sun. Highly recommended as a restaurant, no idea about the other aspects though.

Clean and tidy.Slow to collect order, but, received quite quickly after order taken.Lovely meals and good table manners when clearing dishes.Would recommend the Riviera Hotel to anyone.
