24/04/24 Update. A place with great character and people. Guinness is always good and the food too. Feels like home. 2021. Great food and staff. Cold beer in summer. Good bangers and mash. Good nachos. Some excellent musicians on Friday/Saturday.

Fantastic night, not too crowded on Thursday night. Wide ranging menu to suit all appetites. Friendly service. DJ had tech problems so no entertainment. fun night.

What to say about this food. It's S%^^. I had the fish and chips. After waiting over an hour out can 3 overcooked fish bites. Hard dry and bloody awful. Complained and was told it was what I ordered so bad luck. My partner ordered the pj beef burger. The meat was indescribably. Had the texture of an uncooked sausage and something you find in baby's nappy. But after complaining was told it comes that way. Very disappointing considering the menu say there food is made with love.
