For one, the food took ages - at least 30 minutes for a couple of burgers.

When the food did get here it was bland, probably some of the worst burgers I\'ve had in Canberra and they were not particularly cheap.

At least some of the wait staff were nice

I love a good Irish bar but this place is a pretty hard pass. There are better places. There are cheaper places. And there are better places that are cheaper.

The service was attentive and friendly, the atmosphere was good. The dark timbers and booth seating was nice, but the food and music weren\'t particularly Irish themed. They did have Guiness and Kilkenny on tap which seems to be the requirement of a pub being Irish in Australia.
The menu was what you\'d expect from typical Australian pubs - some Asian dishes, some pizzas, pub classics like steak and schnitzel. There is more variety than King O\'Malley\'s in the city which was good.
The food was great, except the kids ice cream had a weird powdery texture and left a film in their mouths. The waitress explained that they\'d recently changed brand and that it was not a use by date issue. The kids meals themselves were of a good size and the kids enjoyed them.
Free pool table use on Sunday was a nice feature.
The beer was great.

PJ is a wonderful establishment for all to enjoy from the peaceful family dinners to a crazy friday night if you no what I mean,

You can catch some live music while playing 8 ball with your mate or watch some sports as you kick back at the bar where you will find wonderful service,

PJ\'s also has great meal options I myself love the chicken Schnitzel with good tasting veggies and the drinks are always nice and cold,

All you need for a good night here, big carpark toilet facilities available.

Hubby and I have recently started going out and decided that PJ O'Reilly's is our got to place. Whether it is a weekend Sunday lunch, Wednesday steak or chicken schnitzel and karaoke on a Thursday. Cocktails 🍹 on tap 🙌

Nice friendly family atmosphere . Food was delicious . Steak sandwich cooked perfect parmigiana to die for . Fish beautiful and fresh 😋 will be going back
