Went to Pacific Golf Club for a business lunch today, it was a nice quiet place to conduct a business meeting with great views friendly staff and awesome food. They have ample parking, clean bathrooms and the food came out quickly.

Father's Day brekkie was great!! Lots of people, a good feel to the whole place. Our order was a little slow but once the reason was explained to us, it was fine! Another great outing at the club...

Beautiful new club, lovely decor, friendly front of house staff but the food was very disappointing. I was excited to have a new local to eat at but unfortunately the food needs major improvement. My husband ordered a steak which cost over $45 and then we had to pay additional $12 for a salad and fries. Really? You could barely call the salad a salad. Same sides for my overpriced beer battered fish. Terrible value for money. I think we'll stick to the Carindale Hotel until the food improves.

Wish I read the reviews before trying to book here. I've had the exact same issue with the pro shop as everyone else - ring, no answer, leave a message and nobody calls back.

The director of golf takes 2 weeks to reply to emails (just to tell me that the date I want isn't available) and blames the pro shop cause he thought they replied although it's blatantly obvious that they didn't.

I'll take my weekday booking of 20 people for 18 holes, carts and lunch elsewhere.

Staff awesome. Decor awesome. Ordered a steak medium rare. Was super rare. Took it back, asked for it to be fixed. This is what we got. It doesn't seem medium rare. I love this place but kitchen needs to shine.

Smart new clubhouse opened 3 months ago.
Food was good and reasonable prices.
Nice view of the course from the restaurant.
I had the pizza which had a thin crust which is just how I like it. Husband had barramundi and chips and he enjoyed it.

Reception staff delightful, welcoming and professional. Ambience terrific. Wait staff efficient and friendly.

The range of mixer drinks needs to be increased.

Several people met with all having a mix of choices of food.
Chicken schnitzel, chips and salad - a lettuce leaf does not a salad make.
Calamari entree - 7 pieces of calamari and nothing else on the plate. Very austere and underwhelming.
Steak and vegetables - all drowned in olive oil .... Mmmm ...why?
Thai beef salad needed more beef.
And the list goes on.

Some work to be done by the chef/s as wonderful floor staff and ambience will only go so far. Good food is what people will keep coming back for.

On initial arrival, the parking lot is a construction site. There is very poor to no signage of how to get to the Pro Shop the most direct way.
We paid for two adults for nine holes on a Monday morning with two pull carts but only one was available with the bag support from the Pro Shop. They were able to get us a second bag cart but it took a while.
The pace of play was fairly slow for all of the groups in front of us and we were constantly hit up on from the group behind us even though we were on the back of the group in front of us.
The greens were lightly sanded.
There were no electric golf carts available when we arrived at 10:30 a.m.
The fairways are in an ok condition. There are still patches throughout the fairway and lots of leaves and small branch debris from the trees.

Very disappointing & nothing good to say! Our tee off time included 2 extra people we didn't know & they were walking?? (We booked 2 days prior & included a buggy)
- NO street signage for course (You turn into what looks like a construction site)
- Carpark is a SHAMBLES!!
- NO sign for pro shop (good luck finding it)
- 3 buggies latter 2 went flat before we teed off at the 4th !!!!
- We left after the 10th hole & 3.5 hours later.... Simply annoyed waiting 20mins at each tee off ....!!!

OMG.. the worst course ever.

They didnt even inform us any of these.
• 6th(?) Hole closed. You should skip this hole. Wasting money.
• One Hole was divided into two seperate short holes. But on App,golf course map, it is not up-to-date. Also the monitor screen attached to their electronic cart also didnt show this situation. It was so complicated. We had to keep finding which way to swing until other players told us.
•One Hole has got different Green Location from the screen and the map on App. Supposed to be back side green but there was no flag and no hole but grass 10m before the actual green has got a flag and hole(looks like they wanted to change the green? I dont know. The green was not green it was just solid soil ground, not even grass.

Also, its really hard to find next hole because there is no sign for next hole from 1st tee to 9th. There are signs for next holes only from 10th to 18th.
Their score card does not show road map. The screen on the cart has map but hard to find.
So many construction going on.
Too loud.
Too many people.
You need bookings but you cant tee off on your booking tee time because of other players.
You cant read any of words on the tee information sign. Black writing on black wooden board.
Hope they re-paint them with white color.

In summary, you would better go to different course until they finish their construction/renovation.
Totally looked dangerous when you play and they do construction at the same time.

Its selfish that they open the course and the construction go ahead simultaneously?
You need to re consider this.
Otherwise i dont think the council will let you operate the course (1st to 9th) while the construction is going on.

The pacific golf club hosted our wedding reception recently and they did an absolutely incredible job accommodating us. Kate from the reception team was extremely helpful in getting all the information needed for our night and always happy to answer any questions we had. The night went seamlessly and we couldn't be happier. We highly recommend them.

Worst meal ever. Shredded lettuce, carrot, capsicum and a small piece of bland fish. Zero flavour. Advertised as barramundi and Vietnamese salad. They charged $26 for it. Never again!!

One of the better courses in SEQ. Cheap afternoon walking green fees, modern GPS carts and manicured fairways. There are also well placed hazards that will challenge the best of players. However, the greens are quick (at times) but not receptive

Wonderful golf course with challenging holes. Fairways are picturesque especially with the water features. Major renovations are underway including a new club house and car park. Well worth having a game at this beautiful golf course.

Went for lunch today as we were hoping new menu and renos may have improved the place after our last experience was horrible. But nope! Not one thing we ordered (there were 7 of us) was good. Potato wedges were raw, gnocchi was undercooked and gooey, brisket was NOT brisket - it was chopped chunks of roast beef, chips were cold, schnitzel was burnt, and even when I bothered to mention the raw potato wedges to the kitchen staff I hardly got an apology let alone a replacement of the meal or anything. Nothing. Atmosphere is also lacking significantly with awful outdated music and nothing for the kids to do in the kids room. Please don't waste your time or money.

Excellent course. Great service. First time visitor, definitely be back.

Wonderful course - will be wonderful when new clubhouse finished

Was invited to have lunch there. The coffees took almost 25 mins to arrive. There wasn't a crowd. I had a crispy skin salmon with steamed vegetables. My husband had a beef brisket in a Turkish bread sandwich with coleslaw mayo pickles and tasty brisket with chilli jam and chips. The presentation was nice but the salmon was over cooked.

Nice place to play golf. The staff were nice too.

Bad and rude service in the conference room. Loud noises from coming through when we had our seminar at the back. Front desk was welcoming and nice though.

I have been playing at Pacific for about a year and everything is really good. The food is wonderful, lovely staff and beautiful greens. Would recommend to friends and family.

Affordable, beautiful, a very good challenging golf course right in the Brisbane city, completed with practice facilities, driving range, chipping, putting, bunker, pro shop. Also the par 3 course, very popular with family and young kids. Golf lessons on offer are well attended.

Professional and helpful staff. The food here was really good although a little late. On this evening there were a lot of patrons due to Trivia and this was an absolute ball!! Highly recommend.

Had lunch here today, Saturday afternoon, for my mother in laws birthday. There were no menus on the tables. Understandably, COVID times things are different however they could have been placed and sanitised. Pretty disappointed in the food and drinks. The ladies at the bar and the one taking our orders were lovely as well as the male manager. However, the food wasn't great the chicken parmigiana had more batter than chicken and the medium rare steaks were more rare. The guys had beers, which were warm too.
Can't fault the service staff, however the chef had complaints about his parmigiana the night before and hadn't made any changes.

I've sporadically been here over the years. Pleasant visit tonight: Tuesday special (steak) was amazing value, and it looked like each night had a good deal. Drinks were also great value ($6.60 schooner). Service and Atmosphere also very good. 3 stars to meet expectations, +1 for exceeding them.
Will review again after a few more visits, and if consistent, go for all stars.

Meals were nice. Some I feel were bit overpriced. I had Creamy Garlic Prawns. The prawns were only small and there was about 6 or 7 and some Rice was $26.90 ? I thought this was a bit pricey. Apart from that, staff friendly and helpful.

From the deck it's a nice view over the golf course towards the green hills behind the Belmont Rifle Range. All the while you're drinking a beer with your mate and eating golden fries. The hills will always remain naturally vegetated, it's a safety corridor where stray rounds from the range will fall harmlessly amongst the trees.

Great course very interesting layout and the greens were nice to putt on... You actually look forward to getting to the grand and putting... Locals are friendly and very helpful as well..

Pretty good course, good condition at the moment. Really slow greens but lush fairways and fluffy rough (bare patches here and there, not perfect but passable) friendly service at counter and nice clubhouse. Really disappointed with the range though, pretty much a sand bunker with targets.
