Payed double at the cube for a more tougher steak, their Monday special for sirloin is worth the $25 soft and grilled, was calm quiet atmosphere, good service smiley faces.

Saw a recommendation for this pub as kid friendly so headed here on a recent short break to see the flowers. Was a little worried walking in but soon realised that the attentive friendly service and wide menu options made up for the dated interior. One of the few pubs that offer steak for kids and included a great kids pack. Adult menus were fantastic and very reasonably priced. Staff were friendly and helpful. It was a great meal for our family and would recommend it to others looking for a hearty meal that will accommodate kids. Will return on our next trip to Toowoomba.

Arrived around 2pm 27/7/24. Female staff member (can't remember her name, older blonde lady) was working the bar. Was openly swearing in front of customers (children included) and overall had a very bad attitude. For someone working in a customer service role, you'd think they'd have a good grasp on behaving professionally; we were absolutely appalled. It's an absolute shame, because all other staff members are AMAZING; they're friendly and welcoming, and genuinely seem to enjoy interacting with customers. My partner, friends and I are regulars, but we wouldn't want to come back when this member of staff is on shift; we were honestly glad that her shift was ending towards the time that we arrived.

Babsolutely brilliant service, great prices, scrumptious chicken wings, parmas are delicious, steak had an amazing flavour but was pretty chewy. It is worth trying again for sure as it may not have been the best batch of meat.
This old pub is old and smells old but it is certainly well worth a visit for lunch or dinner.
