Lovely venue, great views. Unfortunately the food was below average. No flavour, pretty tasteless all round. 3 out of 5 of us were dissatisfied with the meals. But would go back for the location and a beer.

Had breakfast there this past weekend. The food is shockingly bad - got the smashed avo on toast with 2 eggs added. Eggs were ice cold, toast was cold and there was virtually no avo on the toast, rather a thin smear of some pre bought avo mix. Waited 40min for food and was not that busy. The view is great but what incredibly overpriced bad food. Would go back for a beer in summer but never again for breakfast.

I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with the organization of the Mother's Day event at the boat club. As a mother of three children under the age of four, I specifically requested a table in the second level near the children's play area when I made my reservation well in advance. However, upon arrival, I was informed that our party of 12 would be seated in the garden area, far from the children's area.

Despite my repeated requests to be seated near the children's area, I was told that the restaurant was fully booked and could not accommodate our request. This was particularly disappointing as there were ample empty tables in the second level.

As a result of this seating arrangement, I had to constantly monitor my children as they ran around the open, unfenced grass area near the jetty ocean . This made it difficult for me to enjoy my breakfast and celebrate Mother's Day with my family thus has made us and other close families we were talking to while waiting, also the food was so disorganised as servucr members asked for our table numbers to give our food and still getting food and drinks mixed up to other tables which made us and other families communicate to get the orders to the correct tables

Additionally, the QR code for the children's menu was not functioning properly, and the tables for large groups were separated, requiring us to rearrange them ourselves and dry them down.

I hope that you will take steps to improve the organization of future events to ensure that families with young children are able to enjoy their time at the boat club.

P.s after arriving at 8am in a very overcast rainy day we finally recieved breakfast at 10am and it was still wrong ! during waiting so long for breakfast it started raining and now getting rained on so after kicking a stink we got moved inside 2nd floor at 940am (past our booking time which was 8am to 930am) to a table close to the children area with a reserve sign for 1130am on all tables close to the kid area not being used on a rainy day. Shocking

Come here often as husband is a member, but today was awful. Waited an hour for food. Had to ask where it was because we watched people being served around us who came after us. Waitress said it came out just as she went to ask for it. I disagree, it was cold, not as ordered and rock hard it had been sitting for so long. Parmy was so dry the top came right away from the snitzel. We couldn't wait any longer so ate what we could manage and left. Very disappointing.

Haven't had much seafood before but this slapped, was quite a bit of admin having to deal with the shells but proves how fresh it all is i suppose, great drinks selection and is a pretty nice vibe with great views, will definitely be going back to try the steak, they looked noiiice

Was in the vicinity and popped in for a lunch meal. Great atmosphere and views. Sat on the balcony area overlooking the boat docks. Had the pasta and battered fish. The pasta was average, nothing too special about it. Same goes with the battered fish. Overall the atmosphere contributes a lot towards the dining experience.

I'm not sure if they messed up and gave us there best quality ribeye instead of the "special" rump that you assume will be a bit tough and taste less, or they have an exceptional chef and supplier of meat. Either way it's not often a bit of rump trumps a good rib fillet. The accompanying chips were sensational. It's such a pleasant surprise when you go somewhere for a cheap pub meal and get the best steak and chips you've had in a very long time. The restaurant is modern spacious, open to and has nice views over the marina and Morton bay. Great place and will definitely recommend and be back.

What a great way to spend a Friday lunch with friends out on the Bistro balcony on a stunning sunny spring day! It was really busy when we got there at 12.30pm though. Love that you can order directly from the table with a QR code. My fish and chips were lovely and the pizza was also tasty and flavoursome. Food was reasonably priced and portions were generous. Would definitely come back again!

Sunday vibes at Manly is the best , stroll through markets , sweeping views of the bay to this gem with outdoor seating, balcony and inside seating . Morton bay fishing competition was held with great music . Vibe was perfect for lunch of seafood 🦞 platter and oysters 🦪. $5 membership gives you discount on meals and drinks highly recommend. Seafood fresh though prawns 🦐 covered with corn chips, otherwise presented beautifully. Parking 🅿️ looked hectic , recommend parking along the main strip and walk through parkland , along waters edge. Service was brilliant considering how many people . Got there about 11:30 which was great timing for lunch .

Our experience was good, but nothing special. There were limited options on the menu for those who don't eat pasta or bread. We were surprised that we weren't able to get seafood like bugs and crab as a single serving. The food was good, but overpriced in comparison to other local restaurants. The cocktails were hit and miss.

One of the best restaurants in brisbane. The quality of food and flavours exceeds the normal restaurant experience. I was happy with all the meals. The view was exceptional. Make sure you book however the Cafe and takeaway are lovely too.

really great food here, an amazingly large venue with spectacular views and the staff were friendly and attentive. would definitely recommend this place over other options in the area due to the extensive menu and reasonable pricing.

I last visited this place before it had a major renovation. The place looks very nice, neat & modern now. Very welcoming for guests. Car parking was plentiful out the front of the building, with only a short stroll to reception.
The staff are very friendly & helpful.
Overall, compared to similar hospitality establishments, I found the food small in size and the prices higher than all the other similar club restaurants in the area.
The entree of Szechuan Calamari was small in serving for its $14.90 price tag.
The Prawn Pizza at $27.90 was delicious, but very sparse in prawn offerings. The pastry was nearly paper thin, and the size of the pizza was equivalent to a traditional medium size rather than a more popular large size that most establishments serve up.
In summary, the new look Trailer Boat Club looks great inside, has wonderful views of the marina and bay area, offers friendly service, but in my opinion, is not value for money as a dining experience.

Gee this place rocks. It sure has changed since I was last here. Loving the new look and atmosphere plus the food and drink selection was pretty impressive. Sad though that we were unaware of the $1 membership special until half way though our second visit.
The fresh Oysters were scrumptious. Thank you.
The kitchen staff are very impressive.
The waiters and people trying to seat people did a fabulous job.
One of the young barman needs to change his attitude though.
The receptionist on duty Monday afternoon the 24th has no clue how to speak to customers. I found her rude and patronising. You need to 'help' your customers if they are unsure what to do, not give them lip! What a shame.
The lady, Raeley (?) at the till was professional and very pleasant. It was so busy, I don't know how she remained so calm. Hats off to her. Customer Service is her asset.
Overall, the good outweighed the bad.
We will definitely be coming back.

Just had the most amazing shared seafood platter for excellent value. The seafood was fresh and the service so friendly. We will be back. Love the renovations. It was so wonderful sitting on the deck, looking at the boats and water with a fresh breeze to boot. Magical!

Haven't been here for a long time as a full member, can see why I won't renew my membership, waited over an hour for food that was garbage
And some manager with an attitude that can't even tuck his shirt in to try look professional, waitress took my plate and asked how was it did you enjoy it. Shame they have no idea yes that's why you taking it away was the best.
What a pity was a good club now will rather eat at a leagues club

I have always had a very good meal here, and was so looking forward to enjoying a meal with my brother who was visiting from Cairns. Whilst the new makeover is fantastic and creates a lovely atmosphere, I was very disappointed with the meal. The fish was oily, and the chips looked and tasted as though they had been cooked earlier that day, and they were cold. I will not be returning in a hurry.

Great location but sadly not a great experience today. Tried to charge me $6 extra for my meal and then tell me the prices on the menu had changed from what I was ordering from.
Felt this never should have occurred and was not a pleasant way to start the meal.
They also need to have some plant based options as there is nothing on the menu to choose from.

Had a face lift but still the same old same old unfortunately. Nice and fine but nothing special.
The way in which they want you to line up to order food isn't stated anywhere on a sign or verbally at all until the staff rudely inform patrons where to line up multiple times. It was the youngest of the staff that was the most polite and clear about what they wanted out of those wanting to order. Very telling. Just put a clear and obvious sign up. Done.
Kids meals were ok. The three mains looked the part but two of them had zero flavour. I'm sure it has its moments and is a great night out but not this night. By the sounds of it, not most nights.

What a great step up!! The Boat Club has evolved into a "must-do" Manly location.

Cannot fault this place - the renovation is simply awesome!

One of the most delightful lunchtime experiences I have ever had. Have never even been to Manly before even though we've lived in Brisbane for over ten years. Lucked on the Boat Club and hadn't booked.
Our delightful experience started with reception from a delightful young lady. Although the inside dining area was full we decided to stay and eat on the deck outside. Ordering the food and drinks at the bar was made easy by the delightful staff. The food was delivered promptly by a delightful lady. Both the food and wine was delicious and we were delighted by the experience.
Judging by the comments by some reviewers there may have been teething problems with the new renovations. Hope the people giving the poor reviews get over it,embrace the new and enjoy it in the future. It's now

We three had a delightful lunchtime.

5 stars because the staff were very friendly and helpful.
One star for the food.
Ordered the special's... a poke bowl and fish curry. Admittedly, we were non-members so the prices were higher- $25.90 each.
The poke bowl looked pretty but underneath was just rice, the flavour was ordinary.
The most expensive and worst poke bowl I've had, so bad I asked for my money back.
The staff were very accommodating and I received a full refund.
The fish curry tasted like it was paste out of a jar and the fish was rubbery.
Only half got eaten.
Thumbs up to the staff though, could tell they were very busy and still took it in their stride.

Sadly this was a disappointing experience. Great view & friendly service marred by sub standard food. We ordered the seafood platter for 2. $86 for us 'non-members' which was pricey for the lack of quality in the seafood- prawns were overly salty, the 2 halves of bug tail was mushy & flavouless. The fish was battered nicely but tasted dirty. The 2 small scallops were ok but overcooked. Heaps of chips which is generally the case to bulk up the platter. Disappointed to say the least.

Great boat launching facilities and an ever-popular bar and restaurant. The view over the water from 'the Deck' is the best around.

One of the best seafood platters I have ever had from a club but the fish was battered, so we didn't eat it (too fatty) should have options, would of rated 5 otherwise.

That was my last review, went back for another platter, this time i asked for crumbed but they could only do grilled ,which was fine. Don't know what happened but the food went from one of the best to the worst, the platter was a lot smaller, food was not that good ,very bad presentation. Need to be consistent guys!!!!

Waited somewhere around 40 minutes for food though the place didn't seem very busy. When we finally got the food, not only was the steak I asked for to be medium rare in fact close to well done, but the entire dish I received was completely cold! (steak, vegetables and gravy).

My husband and I go here often it's one of our favourite places so I booked for Valentine's dinner. Sadly very disappointed, we ordered the seafood platter for two presentation was very ordinary compared to other times and we have ordered it and so was the food. The staff that we're on last night it was like they didn't even want to be there particularly one who when I had asked a couple of questions & was very patronising & I find he can be hot & cold a lot of the time. I would love to name but I will leave it at that. They had been advertising all week about lobster yes I know it says when sold out. When we had asked the question did you have it we weren't told they had run out we were actually told we couldn't order it for dinner. Sadly I think it might be a little while before we go back!

Second time have booked a table for 4 a week in advance for inside window only to arrive and be told no table available as they have reserved signs, and then see no one used the window tables at all, given a dirty table wait for it to be cleaned so get seated at 7.20 only to eat and find cant get coffee and desert as it is closed at 8pm with kitchen. So much for a valentines meal, then had to travel to Wynnam leagues club for coffee and desert.
Why advertise you open to 11pm??

This is an excellent and friendly family venue. Good staff and service. Always enjoy coming here. Could use a couple more vegetarian items on the new post-COVID menu though. There seem to be fewer than before.

We had home delivery last night. Outstanding!!!!!! Took the chance, never thought about the club for delivery. Paid off big time. Really enjoyed the whole meal.
