Had a great day at Merthyr Bowls club yesterday. Lovely lunch on the deck overlooking the Brisbane river with a gentle breeze keeping us cool. Played barefoot bowls afterwards and got thrashed..oh dear...but a good laugh all round. Staff were very friendly and helpful although the bowling tips didn't seem to work for me on the day. 🤣🤣🤣 We will definitely be back.

Our family had passed this place many times, and each time, it was filled with the joyous energy of laughter and connection. This weekend, we finally dined in and experienced the magic ourselves. Perched by the river, it offers breathtaking views of the water and the lively passersby. With quick service, friendly staff, and delicious food, it's a reminder of the joy that comes from gathering together. This venue is perfect for work functions, birthday celebrations, or even wedding events. I wholeheartedly recommend it!

Very popular place locally, can be very busy at times, but we decided to dine a bit earlier this day and had quick friendly service straight away.
We know some of the meals here are huge , so normally a main course is sufficient for us.
Parking can be a challenge
Highly recommended.

A good place with a scenery to enjoy a game of Bowls and have nice lunch. This is second year in a row that we had our Annual Changeover lunch there.
