We had dinner at QA hotel last night. The food was ok but not great. We had the chicken schnitzel for our kids and the chicken parmigiana. That was ok. But we also ordered the snapper which was over cooked and dry and the skin was soggy... the flavour was nice but unfortunately the execution ruined it. The red curry chicken was overwhelmingly full of spices that it was difficult to identify what was in it... I am allergic to shellfish especially prawns, shrimp and calamari and we are pretty sure that there was either prawn or shrinmp in the dish. There was no description of having any of it in the menu so my husband who ordered that for himself gave me a try and with just a tiny try I when red and started having symptoms of an allergic reaction luckily it was a tiny try and I had medication as I was struggling to breathe. I spent all night wheezing but thankfully I didn't end up in the ED....

The food, service and atmosphere are always exceptional, I have been coming here for the past 12 months and I have never had a bad meal, the steak is drooling good, a must try. The manager James and his team always go out of their way to make sure your experience at The Queens Arms is enjoyable and memorable. In my opinion this is one of the best venues on the coast from family friendly dining to watching your favourite sporting event, if you haven't already been, I highly recommend you do.

Decided to go somewhere different for Lunch.
The Fish and Chips were excellent large portions, and for me who prefers skinny fries, these were the best Fat Fries I had in a long time. The Chicken Parmigiana was excellent, piping hot, the homemade tomato sauce may have benefited from a pinch of sugar, otherwise excellent.

Great spot to grab a steak or parmi and watch the ufc on a Sunday. My go to local, can usually find a seat and decent range of beers. Suggest booking for major sporting events
