I've gotten coffees from here in the early mornings for several days over the past few weeks.

They do not get 5 stars for the coffee. The coffee is good, but not 5-star good.

The reason it gets 5 stars is because of the staff serving & making the coffees. Especially Nat. They are kind, welcoming, entertaining, and consistently the best way to start my day.

They also went above and beyond for a relative of mine, who was going through an especially difficult time. This is what makes them 5-star people.

The views are spectacular. It can get busy, but never feels over-crowded. Plenty of spots to sit and enjoy your drink/snack, with well-maintained public toilets nearby (clean enough that one feels comfortable enough to sit, rather than hover).

Great place for a meal. The lamb roast of the day was delicious.

It catered for a variety of tastes so even though my sister and I have very different tastes. We went there four nights of our six day stay. Staff are very friendly and helpful. T shirts down stairs reasonable price.

We booked a table for 10 people a day prior, and I requested a window seat. I was told over the phone that it couldn't be guaranteed but would try their best. The lady on the phone at the time of booking was very short and couldn't wait to get me off the phone. When we arrived at the club, our table was right beside the bathrooms and furthest from anything. This was disappointing as we were visiting from out of town and catching up with friends. The food was nice and generous in size. The kids room was also disappointing as everything was out of order.
As soon as we got up, a lady came behind us and stacked our chairs. We hadn't even left our table. It was like she was trying to get rid of us. She gave us a nasty look. We had left our table near and tidy. It was 8pm.
Not much customer service and all staff quite rude and not friendly.

Just renewed my membership after letting it slip for a few years. We had a great roast beef lunch and dessert. Good beer at good prices. Should make the trip there more often. Great Surf Club that deserves support.

Recently, hubby and I stayed on the Sunshine Coast, and we had dinner at the Maroochy Surf Club. We used their courtesy bus that picked us up from our accommodation, which was 5 mins away. Not being a local this conveniently allowed us to enjoy our night without having to worry about parking or navigation to the club.

Both hubby and I had the roast beef and vegetables. I'm a Coeliac and needed a gluten free option. It was so nice to have a tasty meal and not worry about cross contamination. Even the gravy was gluten free, bonus!

The club is a little dated, but the atmosphere was great. We looked out the window where we were sitting, and you could see the full moon sitting beautifully overlooking the beach. Hubby and I were very impressed!

We enjoyed our night, then our courtesy bus driver Peter, was waiting out front to take us back to our home for the night at Oaks Sunshine Coast Seaforth Resort.

Definitely a go to for anyone wanting a hassle free night out on the Sunshine Coast.

Meals were huge, everyone was stuffed. Great atmosphere, we got a fabulous table with a view of the ocean. The music was good too, had the crowd entertained.

It's definitely worth the visit
I had a burger with no bun. The Angus patty was simply amazing, made perfectly. I also tasted my mom's flathead, and it was really very tasty. I was very impressed with the standard of food. The service was very good, the staff were super friendly and so helpful, it was a pleasure. The only downside is the long wait at the bar. But it was Friday lunchtime so I suppose that's to be expected.

Went there for dinner. Pan fried chicken was yum and just the right serving size. Beautiful views of the beach. There is a kids room but it is small and unsupervised and located close to the entrance. No line of vision to keep an eye on them.

Had rump dteak ans misses had the roast both decent meals and a good price. Beer was cold and cheap with discount due to where we were staying.

Great Locatiin, always busy and meals well priced. They even cater for elderly by having a Seniors Menu!

Had a great night celebrating an 18th Birthday. Excellent food, outstanding staff, great atmosphere and live music was a treat.

Fast service and decent prices for their food. Wish they had a pasta option on their menu, and wished they served table water rather than having to get up and go to the bar. The chicken on the Ceasar Salad was really dry and didn't taste nice but the salad itself wasn't bad. The Queenslander schnitzel was really good and recommended. The beach views from the restaurant is really nice!

Lovely views of the beach as you enjoy lunch or a cup of coffee. Coffee and snack venue on the beach evel with a full bistro inside the club.
Meals were good value, freshly prepared and the service was friendly and prompt.

Good location and air conditioned. However, the menu is so "ho hum". Like every other club or pub in Queensland. Chicken Parmy, rump steak, hamburger, pizza. Go for the location with friends, don't go for an inspiring menu or dining experience.

Went for dinner. Nice meal, plenty to chose from. Meals were pretty good, only gripe would be on the Vegan rice balls there was way too much lettuce stuff for my liking and the sauce was a bit dry but that would be it. The Vegan balls were delicious and there was plenty of them. Hubby's meal was lovely and our friends meals were all nice, all came out in a reasonable time and the prices were pretty good ??'?

The club was good and was a nice spot to eat.
But the meal was nothing special.
We got the schnitzel and it was very basic and for $22 each we don't feel we got our money's worth.

If we only paid $10 as a lunch special then it would have probably been ok but yeah the meal we got wasn't worth the money we were charged.

Always a good place to go to for a meal and a drink. Has kept up the quality over the years and friendly staff are happy to help.

Really enjoyed our dinner here on New Years Day 2022. Visiting family staying in the area, it was convenient to walk to. Really enjoyed our meals which were generous portions at reasonable prices, even for non members. Staff were very friendly and helpful and provided great service.

Always 5* ocean view, nature how can you not give it 5* ppl's. Such a busy place Sunshine Coast. I love to come here to walk along the beach 1st thing in the morning 🌄, it's a Awesome way to start your day.

Visited twice in one day, first for morning tea by myself, then later for lunch with my daughter. The staff were very friendly & helpful. The lady at the coffee shop went out of her way to assist. My Chai Latte was lovely, with Banana Bread. For lunch we had Rump Steak and Salad & Beef Curry. My steak was cooked perfectly. The views are amazing.

I had no idea Maroochydore was so lovely - far less busy than its neighbours and with a sparkling beach to enjoy in peace.

Great views! Nice, smaller club with a good menu. Gaming, kid's play area, and separate bar. Good coffee and cake, too!

Views, the venue and staff are fantastic, but they get let down constantly by their kitchen. I've held off constantly to write a review in the hopes that things get better, but they haven't.

Painted on the building out the front in large letters - "Fine dining". It's far from it. We're weekly visitors and have been for a few months now and I can remember a handful of times where there hasn't been an issue with the meal. Whether forgetting components, over/under cooked, or just plain cold. It's very inconsistent for such a prime position on the coast. Easily the worst Surf Club meals on the coast.

It's a shame because we love the spot, but the food quality just isn't there. We've since changed our weekly dinner to a different location and the food is so much better, but the location isn't.

Will be looking out for them advertising new cooks, or an updated menu as I'll be looking forward to try it out.

There is no better surf view on the Coast. Amazing to see the sand and surf and be mesmerized by the beauty of the Sunshine coast. Exceptional Cold Beer and good value food. Their coffee is top notch too.

Beautiful views over the water. Food looked good. Quite busy, helpful staff. Very relaxing

Enjoyed fish, chips and salad with desert. Spacious eating area wirh lots of light and great view of beach and surf.

The people here are very friendly and provide great service. It has all the club amenities for it size, shuttle bus, pokies, tab, competitions, family activities. What lets this place down is the food. Not just the menu but how it was cooked. Some of the meals did look nice so I may have to revisit.

While going for a stroll through Maroochydore and Cotton Tree on a hot sunny day, we decided we'd stop for lunch at the next available place. There's something refreshing about sitting in aircon, watching the surf, drinking a cool drink, and eating a tasty meal. We loved this place so much, we signed up to become social members of the club as soon as we arrived home.

We are a family from the country and went here expecting some seafood and some nice pub meals. The menu was limited with only one steak and no fresh seafood available. Meals we had included pizza, chicken schnitzel and butterflied chicken breast. Meals were fine, but disappointed with the menu on offer. Service was good.

The Maroochy Surf Club is located right on the foreshore & has everything that people either holidays or living in around this beautiful part of the Sunshine Coast to enjoy a fantastic day out.Staff ensure that strict Covid-19 restrictions are in place from the time you enter this place, I was most impressed by the way that the staff went about this.There is parking available with a small carpark next to the Surf Club.Not too far from the main part of Maroochy & a short distance Cotton Tree Caravan Park & close by to Alexandra Headlands.This particular Surf Club is steeped in history & has many past champions who excelled in the surfing competitions around Australia and the world. Clint Robinson is one famous name, he represented Australia at a number of Olympic Games in rowing.There is a lift onsite for anyone with a disability or anyone else.I went upstairs for a meal & found the Pizza to be everything to my liking. Excellent menu & great bar facilities.The staff in the Restaurant area were more than helpful. Great views out to sea and the beaches & headland.Definitely worth the drive up from Brisbane.

Became members today. Enjoyed a coffee in a most relaxing environment. Back in two days for the trivia quiz. Definitely a good decision made.

First time here, having lunch with family...Seniors lunches available for $14 including cake for dessert (coffeefor $4). I had fish, chips & salad.Good portions.Very large chicken schnitzel, topped with parmigiana sauce.Beautiful views of the beach.Signed up for membership card which can be used at other Surf ClubsHad an enjoyable lunch with my friends.
