Dinner here very generous meals for the price .I joined as a member gives a little discount..nice outdoor setting

Had a visit last night there and food quality is very low in whole sunshine and i had a steak even they don't know how to cook the steak order medium rare and it comes medium well it is so disgusting and the salad is not good too instead of that buy a bag of coleslaw from coles and i am not suggest to anyone go there. Need to head chef at least make a quality and train staff how to cook steaks

Usually the food is absolutely fabulous here. However it has been very disappointing on the last few visits.
With the chicken caesar burger grilled fillet as dry as a bone. Tried it again on next visit and the caesar salad in the bun was virtually non existent. Hubby ordered the Bridge Burger and the onion rings were over cooked in old oil. Missing the usual high standard of food served.

Went out to dinner tonight, we don't often do this as we have 5 kids , the Maroochy Bridge Hotel was absolutely fantastic theyvover all day dining on Sunday we is great when you have little kids the staff were so friendly and happy , the food was reasonably priced, great sizes and absolutely delicious , the place was very clean , really impressed will definitely be returning

We haven't been to the MB Hotel for a few years, but were surprised with how modern, clean and appealing it was. The service was friendly, but it did take a long time for our food to come out - maybe a mixup? The food was good - a generous steak sandwich on Turkish bread, tender steak, onions, beetroot, very tasty and the Whiting lunch special - 3 fingers of crumbed fish, that were a little dry, with a tasty small salad. Both meals came with too many chips, not good for the waistline! Worth a visit if you haven't been before.

Edit Nov 2023. I thought I'd update this review as it has been a few years since I visited this place. Happy to say, it may have had a facelift the food is still amazing and the staff are just as friendly, The prices are reasonable and a good selection of food. The photos are from my visit in November 2023.

It was our first time here and we were not dissapointed with anything on offer in this Hotel. The food was really beautiful, the cake selection is amazing. We will be back for coffee and cake next time for sure. Do yourself a favour and try this one out.

While it did take a little while to get our food it was really great quality and tasted divine. Staff were pleasant and welcoming.

Friendly and helpful staff, prompt service and cold drinks and quite a sizable dessert selection as well as steaks being cooked to my liking, definitely recommended!!!

Sauce tasted like soap dropped by a prisoner in super max. Sent it back for another sauce but it still tasted like 3 life sentences. Prison guards were hostile at best. Food was good ??'?

We came on a Sunday with no booking. Renee went out of her way to set up a table for us and went above and beyond for us. You can tell she really loves her job. Thank you for the excellent service

I have been drinking at Maroochy Bridge Hotel for 20 years. I have had a gold card for about 3 years now. I got the first card at Hotel Maroochydore wish is a great pub. But Today I have been told at Maroochy Bridge Hotel . That i don't spend enough money there. I no that is not right we go there all the time..So now we have gone down to a silver card now. I have had my family go there for special acasions like birthdays and new years and lot more. I can not believe this. It is so sad that this has happened. Because we did the love this Hotel.

A few months ago we LOVED this place! Food was great and service was so chilled and friendly. The food is still pretty good but the service is so stiff you can feel the tension. Two in particular- one at the door in the blue shirt, looks angry and like he's on a mission to tell one of the customers off! Another one (assistant manager) who walks around but was behind the bar when we went there last is so rude and arrogant. The place would be packed if these two weren't putting their angry bad vibes out. Didn't feel warm, friendly or chilled at all- which is why we loved the place! The kids room is neglected to the point I think they don't actually want children in the venue anymore. Not sure if there is a new owner- but if there is reach out mate because I could run this place better with my eyes closed!

The service was friendly, quick and efficient. The meals were cooked perfectly and delivered in good time. Highly recommend ??'?

So disappointed. Asked if I could get ribs chips salad. Full rack. I'm not so much complaining about the portion size (which was much smaller than they usually do) so much as how pale and unappealing it looks. Tried calling back to offer to bring back but went to voicemail. No chips and salad but Mac and cheese and coleslaw. Anyway, I've not been dissatisfied here before but this was one huge waste of $40. It's in the bin as I was happy to bring back and show them, but no one will answer my call. And no it wasn't busy.

After leaving another establishment where the service was horrendous we came here and the difference was unbelievable. The very friendly staff member approached me and asked if I needed anything. I ordered a coffee that came not long after. She was so friendly and helpful. This will be our new local.

Always great service, meals and deals. Even went into the liquor barn and picked up some great wines and fantastic prices. Great range and got to use some rewards points - bonus!

Excellent food, fast service but very disappointed with the way they seated us. We had a group of 20 and they squeezed us on 2 long tables straight beside the front door. Anyone coming in had to go up the stairs and out the other side. They had 2 large tables set up near the stairs (tables 14 and 15) which would have been perfect. Plenty of room to actually move. The people on the inside of the 2 tables we were at could not move. It was disappointing as the food and service was excellent.

Friendly and enjoyable atmosphere. Staff extremely friendly and helpful. Food was delicious. We are holidaying and thought we would give it a go one night, but so good we came back a second time. Highly recommend

Very happy with the service,.price and quality that the restaurant provided when ordering our meals. Wonderful customer service as the staff were willing to have a normal conversation with us between meals. Thanks for providing us with the best service possible. What a wonderful idea to cook steak.I ordered a steak and they surprised me with their cooking method put a steak into oil fryer with crumbled and served and been told our steak portion is small so we are giving you 2.Such a shame for the beautiful place how they serve their steaks .if someone love their steak meal please avoid.it's great to have drink or catch up with friends but not for eating anymore.

Second visit for a meal but sadly not good at all. Very disappointing and won't be back.

We have been eating Sat nights with our friends here for ages and loved the food.
Happy to note that meal portions and presentation have lifted back to the great standard as it was previously so thanks to Star owners and new staff for that!

Great food in a bright modern hotel.
Recently the hotel's grounds and carpark have been landscaped and opened up for ease of parking.

A super deal on Saturday nights is the 2 meals and a bottle of wine for $50.

Delicious and superbly presented meals off their blackboard menu.

Midweek meals are fantastic value both in presentation and value with plenty of parking available.

Just a minutes walk to Maroochy River.

Where to start?...Excellent accessible parking with breaks in the guttering to enable wheelchair & wheelie-walkers a smooth run into the lounge. Comprehensive menu with large portions. Full range of coffees and/or entreés to start and delicious desserts to finish. Really pleasant, helpful staff ensuring all the members of our large group booking received the right meal with a very brief waiting time. Looking forward to visiting again. ☕ '?

I only go there once a month... despite living within walking distance... so can wear the increased prices. Star Liquor needs to lift their game or lower their costs... meal was hot and quite tasty but not one green morsel on the plate.

Use to come here quite often, the new staff was rude and food wasn't the same standard plus higher price.
Disappointing to see a good pub for locals ruined.

What a lovely place. Went there again for lunch to-day. Just as lovely. The staff very friendly and always happy and obliging. The entree.mains and (wow! the sweets were to die for) were absolutely yummy and reasonably priced My son and I will be a regular! :)

Hi everyone back for lunch today since change of hands. Just as good as before. Staff lisa still there and Dillon our wonderful chef ! Met lovely Molly who help us with the rewards system to put onto our mlbile what a special young lady. Deb who I think is the new manager was very obliging. Lovely place and staff very special.Our meal was excellent and beautifully presented.

They have an extensive menue. Well priced!Great food and wine, very good staff and great service.One of my favourite places to dine.Cheers

Excellent service and great meals and good size meals

The prawn and crab linguini was lovely. Very friendly staff.

So first of 3 stars is generous for me- this is by no means a bad rating. Maroochy Bridge Hotel is a perfectly adequate pub/restaurant. On the evening my companion and I arrived for dinner they were having obvious difficulties with the point of sale system. Being a hospitality worker myself, I understand that these things happen and, unlike much of the elderly patrons around me, was able to wait patiently to order.

We both ordered the steak medium rare. Mine was just medium, while my companions was closer to medium rare. The steak itself was delicious with a distinct char-grill flavour. The chips and salad were both perfunctory and the mushroom sauce tasted of gravox. I was not disappointed, nor was I impressed. The service was fantastic, attentive and meals were served promptly. Reasonable prices on food and drinks.
