Fantastic food and atmosphere, staff were very friendly. I watched the football there and it was awesome to see the blues win! I didn't stay in the accommodation, but i'm sure it would be good if the rest of the place was anything to go by.

Always come here on Sundays but lately the food has not been great! We came one month ago and the steak was great and today the chips were old,re-fried. We sent them back and then we tried the steak and it was definitely cooked hours before! So bad you can't trust a place it used to be really good!

Service isn't really great, need more staff to accommodate guest needs. Food very, very average. $5 for soda water!!???
One of my other guests said the bacon I asked to not be on my meal due to religious beliefs, was good, so I guess that's a bonus. Chef remade for me, I appreciate it! Good lunch special deals.

Very busy location with a great night life. Good live entertainment, but ashame about the down stairs floor. I feel staff are little pressured with not enough support. At times they can be slightly overwhelmed. Small pockie area. Haven't eaten at this particular location, however meals look decent.

Had my sons 10th birthday dinner here and the lengths the waitresses went to to get the cake out with candles lit (candles kept blowing out due to hot night and fan on) when they didn't have to was top tier service. Food was lovely and came out in timely manner considering how busy it was. The atmosphere was wonderful, the whole restaurant was singing happy birthday. My only regret was we didn't leave a tip. Thanks DuPont Tavern for a memorable experience.

My expectations are usually low for steak night but Sunday night $13 steaks come with chips or salad are delish. Totally recommend it. Cooked medium rare as asked and super yum

Great location and good beer garden but the sun is blinding in the afternoons. Some sort of functional blinds would improve the experience. My husband thinks that the beer lines are not good and better off going to the Sneaky Barron for better beer

Family of four and they got three of the meals right. So pretty good! Don't bother ordering the Mexican schnitzel it's basically microwaved then some salsa, corn chips, cheese, sour cream and jalapeños on it, COLD. We never send meals back but had to say something about this. When it was represented to the person who'd ordered it they were pretty disappointed that it was exactly the same as the first time it was served. Shame we've had other great meals there.

I've started coming here for dinner the past few months with my family and it's been a pleasant experience each time. The service and food are always on point. The chef specials are delicious with plenty of variety as there's something for everyone. This helps a lot as my wife is a vegetarian.

The meal was nice and quick. The food was great and the location was awesome. The service was good but salad wasn't the best but apart from that, great place. I do recommend.

The Laneway at the Duporth Tavern is the ideal location to hold any event. The Laneway is clean, modern, private and spacious and we had our own bar for easy service. The food was incredible and the staff could not have done more to help in the lead up to and on the night. Best of all, everyone had a great time. We'll definitely be holding our next family event at the Duporth Tavern.

Food was terrible, do not order the beef salad. It is just a Coles salad bag with chewy steak placed on top ... waste of money. My husband ordered the rump steak and that was really average too. Don't usually leave reviews but spending money on rubbish food is really frustrating!!

Had a lovely family dinner tonight. We ordered three chef specials along with steaks. All meals were absolutely beautiful! The Moreton Bay Bug Roll was amazing. The bun was soft and the pickled cucumber made a difference.

A rib fillet steak shouldn't have gristle let alone large amounts of it. A creamy garlic sauce should at least taste like it has garlic in it. The staff were nice but this is not a place to get a steak.

We had a wonderful experience hiring the upstairs function room for my recent birthday party. I cannot thank Kate and the staff enough for their attention to detail and friendly help in making it a great nite for everyone. The food, the vibe and the room were all superb..10/10 stars, thanks cheers Ossie

What a waste of a great location. We came here early evening on a Sunday and there was no atmosphere - no music on outside on the big patio area, big screens showing sport event re-runs with no sound. Food looks ok but it was so lifeless, with seemingly such a lack of effort to entice you to stay here that we didn't bother staying. The place across the road (Sneaky Baron) seems to be the only place in the whole area that gets the vibe right on a daily basis and makes an effort to create an atmosphere that encourages locals to come, whatever the day.

Location was great. Difficult to find a car park but right in the middle of Maroochydore. The service was very slow. So bad our meals arrived already cold which was disappointing. I understand venues have staffing issues but when you charge top dollar cold meals aren't an excuse. Unfortunately it has a great set up with big screen for sporting coverage but service and price have made it a big 'No' from me

Had the ribs. My wife had a steak. Both were great value for money and very tasty. I pride myself on how good my own ribs are and these are as good as any and only 38 bucks for a full rack.

Popular venue attracting a mixed crowd. We had three great Porterhouse steaks. The chips worth the steak were particularly moreish. Music was unobtrusive and service good.

I ordered some onion rings as a entree and as my main margarita pizza they both came out at the same time and as I had some left over all my onion rings and a slice of pizza I asked if I could please have a take away container
They took my food and never returned

Very disgusting that they chucked out my food i will no go back and thought to pass on my experience so no one wastes their money and time. I would give zero star if I could.

I enjoyed the setting and the speed with which our meals came out, but for a chicken parmigiana, there was almost no sauce or ham on it, which was disappointing. The chicken also tasted dry, a comment shared by the others at my table.

It wasn't bad food, but it could have been better.

First time visiting and dining.

Busy night, a couple of birthday parties, bucks and hens night.

A couple tables were booked ahead of time for us. We were in the front outside covered area in front of the food ordering counter.

The parking, traffic gets busy out on the street and parking availability can be hard but you have the big top that you can park at.

My 12yo son and I ordered:
Caramel milkshake
Chips with gravy
Lemongrass Chicken Salad

The caramel milkshake I felt was literally a sundae tumbler lip dipped with some syrup and 101 thousands, filled with room temperature milk and caramel syrup stirred through.

The chips were decent enough, a little more seasoning would have been nice. The gravy a little on the watery tasting side.

A little disappointed with the salad. It looked and felt like it was a packet of mixed green salad leaves from the supermarket, emptied into the bowl with some nuts and bean sprouts, oil? sprinkled in with a rather bland piece of slightly dry, cold piece of cut up chicken with the bone attached still. Lacked some richness and flavour to be honest.

Not sure if I would return.

First drink and dinner in Maroochydore and whilst not perfect, was very good.

Big bar and TAB and popular with the locals.

And for me...... saved by the bell with some Guinness, even if it came in cans.

The meals came out quickly and were good pub fayre at a reasonable price.

The band played a lot of good classics but my friend bought a 10pack from the bar and.while we were drinking the manager came out pointed at 2 security guards then pointed at us and kicked us out took the drinks out of our hands. Apparently they were "Takeout" drinks but not only did the bar staff not mention this or was it anywhere on the menu the manager didn't even try explaining it to us, ruined the night

This was pretty good. Great central location. We went here after a sporting competition. The top function area was a great place for us and one of the walls even opened up into a D floor with DJ later in the night. See the pics.

Have to say it was very disappointing at lunch today, this is usually a 'go to ' place for us, however, today there was a function upstairs, so we waited what seemed like forever for our meals, nothing was said while ordering, that there could be a delay, and then it was all cold, I really am not a fan of hot food, when it is cold. I fully understand that these are trying times, and getting staff can be difficult, but to say nothing, not giving you the option of going elsewhere as you have already ordered and paid, isn't a good look, its as if your regular diners are expendable, just let them sit and wait and then bring out cold food.
I will clarify and say, this is not the norm, however, I do not believe it is the correct way to serve your restaurant customers.

They have specials for every night of the week and they are all really great value. It's clean, quick to bring meals out and not too loud of an atmosphere. If you're looking for a cheap easy dinner, I highly recommend coming here!

Big fan of the Duporth Tavern very versatile hotel with many different areas for either intimate dinner and or small to medium functions.

Very conveniently located at the end of Ocean Street Maroochydore with plenty of parking and close to other amenities.

Recently undergone a refurbishment the hotel now pretty well ticks every box you could imagine for a bistro pub.

Had lunch there and the food was really good. Staff were great.
Recommend you try it when you're up this way.

My partner and I cam here for our anniversary dinner a few nights ago. The food was fantastic, the people were lovely and it wasn't too loud or crowded. The food is so well priced for the quality and serving size you get. ( I highly recommend the crispy skin salmon...YUM!) Everyone I've spoken to that have been here always speaks so highly of it and I was very impressed. Thank you!!@

Good beer. Great food. Best service. Bistro Boy Matty was very polite and recommended the Parmy (was awesome). The two blokes in the Bar (Jarrod and Ollie) were the best workers by far. These boys deserve a raise. Absolutely put a smile on my face. This service made my Trip to the Duey an awesome one! I'll be sure to recommend it to all my friends at the retirement home.

Really nice place with loads of different areas to cater to whatever vibe or activity you're there for from watching a game and having a drink to a gathering with friends &/family for dinner.Unfortunately the menu is quite limited for a vegetarian like me and so far I've not heard the meat eaters give great reviews about the food especially the steak...they always seem a bit disappointed.

We held our wedding reception in the large upstairs room overlooking the Ocean Street Junction. It was the perfect celebration place. Food and service were classy. Communication with Sujon, the hospitality manager, leading up to the event was first class. Duporth highly recommended as a wedding function location because they deliver a stress free good time.

First time back since being renovated, the venue is definitely nicer, but the food and staff have gone downhill. The steak was terrible, prawns were rubber, my sister couldn't even finish the fish because of how bad it was. The staff weren't friendly and looked like they were at a funeral and when we complained the manager didnt care and walked off. 1 star because the beer was cold and you cant give 0 stars.

Lovely pub after the renovations. Front of house staff very friendly.Food & drinks unfortunately horrible.Ordered 2 Steak Sandwichs both arrived with cold tough burnt meat, way too much green salad, 1 slice tomato, the cheese was so small you had to loik for it & 2 lines on ngbthe outside of BBQ sauce. Horrible.Pizza was good value & quite tasty again cold.Fish & Chips fish was not fresh but frozen from a packet.Scotch & Ginger very watery no taste.Overall not the best, we were a table of 8 Adults & 1 Child.Maybe instead of all the money spent on lovely renovations, more money on a better chef.
