Nice clean hotel/pub with good sized dining area & front bar which also allows for casual dining
Outdoor bar area is the place to be in good weather!
Food was nice, served rather quickly too which is always a bonus (hungry). Great sized servings, too big for me!!
Good sized menu to suit all taste buds, good range of beers on tap, multiple bars to grab your drinks from.

Went there for dinner to celebrate moving back to Whualla. 11 of us and everyone said they wouldn't return. It took 1 1/2 hours for the meals to be served and then it was mostly underwhelming. There was a couple enjoyed meals to be honest. Worst thing they totally forgot the babies meal.

Not a fan at all

Have been to the Eyre Hotel a number of times. They have a pleasant indoor dining area and an excellent outdoor dining area, probably the best in town. The meals are generally good, albeit a bit hit and miss at times.

Been multiple times to the bistro. Great location and food is excellent with big portions - my favourite is the chicken schnitzel.

However, consistently...the service is appalling.
Forgotten orders. Poor cleaning up of tables. Incorrect information from staff, etc
Takes away from the good food.
And absolutely the more awful cocktails ever had - ordered mojito which had black mint leaves and tasted like cold soda water. At least have the professionalism to say...sorry we have run out of mint or something similar.

We come for a counter lunch on our trip from Port Lincoln to Port Augusta, service is exceptional, friendly staff, very quick with service. Food was amazing, not expensive, normal pub prices. The sirloin steak I could cut with a spoon, high price steak restaurants would find it hard to match. Full of flavour, absolutely would get it again 10/10 well done chef. Other meals were pork belly, which was another 10/10 and chicken tenders, at least 6 to 8 huge hand made tenders 10/10. All meals were ordered with rustic vegetables. We did not eat dinner when we got to Port Augusta. Keep up the excellent work Eyre hotel, food is really something to come back for and talk about, staff are the best workers I've seen for a long time.
