The H & J is the place to be no matter what day of the week. The meals are beautifully presented and very affordable. The restaurant is welcoming, clean and spacious. I found the rooms clean and comfortable, and very roomy. Exceeded my expectations.
Meals were all very tasty, and of a very decent size.
All staff from the manager to the housekeepers were extremely friendly and welcoming, especially James, Todd, Brody, Augustus, and Maddy. I can highly recommend spending your time at the Horse and Jockey while you are in Warwick.

Brody is a phenomenal bartender absolutely amazing service always making sure Im okay! will definitely be attending again soon! Maddie is also another amazing staff member never fails to make me smile the most love for that girl and Jo is just Jo but great with the service keep it up buddy

Just had 3 days staying at Horse and Jockey; clean and comfortable. Perfect location close to downtown. Rooms very quiet. No microwave in the room, but tea/coffee making facility. Delicious meals in the attached pub. Highly recommended

The best bar in town, service and food are amazing, there's always a great atmosphere! Maddison and Anna are always lovely to talk to! And the cleaning staff are fantastic! We will definitely be back soon 🙂

Had order for meal refunded as they dropped it and didn't inform us so was waiting for ages. Staff don't want to be helpful as on a break and won't answer questions. Can't get takeaway delivered on the apps as show don't deliver to this address. So basically totally awful experience. Won't return. That's for sure. Also don't book through any apps as it's a nightmare to change anything.

Been going here for years food is great location is also good but new staff... absolutely awful! The rudest woman who belittled paying customers! So disrespectful and I certainly will not be going back.

Great pub for any day of the week, Maddie and Brody are fantastic and go above and beyond to deliver top quality service. The chefs always cook a mean feed and would highly recommend anything on the menu especially the Mexican parmy.

Great pub for a few beers. I've been here many of times, but I have noticed how much of a difference Brody, the manager, makes to the atmosphere when he is there. He's great with the staff he works with, goes out of his way to make sure his customers are happy and looked after and is always up for a quick chat and a laugh inbetween service. Tonight I had the homemade lamb curry. Tasted really nice but there was only 5 pieces of meat and rice and the sauce. For $30 it was a total ripoff. Won't be going for dinner there for a long time.

We have been for dinner at the H&J many times over the last few months and it's always a truly fantastic experience. Wonderful service from the moment we walk in the door to the moment we leave. The food is always absolutely delicious. Best reef and beef in town!

Friendly service but waited 2 hours for dinner to find out they forgot to let the kitchen know my table number. Ordered rare steak, they reheated dinner in microwave and served steak with medium flag. I was tied and hungry, so I ate a meal that should have gone to the dogs. The room was nothing special, just reaching 3 star accommodation.

Valentine's Day, out for a romantic night, all I wanted was my state to be cooked the way I ordered, apparently and well done steak is too hot to cook?

Had dinner & drinks for a work event and I was so greatful for the excellent customer service. Hats off to all the staff & management. They were very accommodating with my dietary requirements(plant-based) and they specially made me such a tasty dish!... Felt very spoilt! Thanks heaps. Highly recommend.

The team at the pub are amazing, friendly and so positive! My stay here has been nothing but 10/10 the food is great as well. Would recommend to anyone looking for a stay or a nice drink. The team at the BWS next door are extremely helpful and friendly. Over all experience 10/10 would recommend !!

Had to come to Warwick for work yesterday and my Company booked me in to stay for 3 nights. I had never heard of this place but I will definitely remember it for the rest of my life as it's the best service and food I have ever had.

The young lady on the reception desk was extremely pleasant and went above and beyond to accommodate me and even offered to move her own vehicle so I could park mine.

I called for room service and the guy taking the order was very helpful and polite, then the Reef & Beef was delivered to my room by the same guy, extremely happy and cheerful.

As for the Reef & Beef, probably the best meal I have eaten in years, absolutely 5*

I will definitely be back, and will definitely share my experience with everyone I talk to. Absolutely amazing. Well done staff, your manager should be extremely proud of everyone that works there. I know I would be.

Disgusting food and rude management staff. Received off meat, yet were blamed for ordering the meat cooked a certain way. Gave the benefit of the doubt and accepted alternate menu items, only to be argued with when requesting the sizeable cost difference to be refunded. Will never return nor recommend. Definite loss of repeat business.

My daughter stayed here. We had dinner in the restaurant. My meal was okay. Nothing spectacular typical pub meal. My sister had the shanks and said they were yum. The meals were a good size. Would I go back ???" Yes probably.

Great been close to the pub, but the room smelt like smoke, and the toilet seat had seen better days. The inside of the kettle was black, and generally didn't feel clean.

An old hotel that offered a clean room, comfortable bed and a delicious meal in the restaurant. The staff are super friendly and certainly know what the words 'customer service' mean. Would I stay there again? Absolutely!!

My wife and I stayed in Warwick for 3 nights. Other places we ate were OK, but we found ourselves coming back here every time. The food was flawless and cooked to perfection. The flavours were amazing regardless of what we got (the pork belly entree was particularly good) and the prices were quite fair comparing to other restaurants around.

For a budget motel in a country town, it was suffice. Not the quietest place with the top floor door slamming until after midnight. Extremely dissatisfied with the cleanliness (or lack thereof) of the top doona cover. Had to remove. Photo attached. Air con was cold and shower had good pressure.

Room disgusting. 2 star would be my review. Milk was half used and stale. No spare pillows. Reception not helpful. Lady from bar couldn't do enough for us. We have stayed in a lot of country motels. This would be worst by far..

Booked a table for 6 adults. Wait wasn't long at all. The staff were lovely and helpful. Everyone's meals came out hot and cooked perfectly. $130 for 5 mains + 2 entres. Our night only had the one hiccup, with the Karen at the table below us. Badmouthing the staff and the chef. Overall really good night out

Good location, tidy room and value for money. Room was dated and could use a bit of a updated. I stayed on a Saturday night and there was a lot of noise well into the night that came from the restaurant/bar patrons which made it difficult to get to sleep. All things considered it was priced accordingly and was good value for money.
