The food was nice but the service was very slow. It took 70 minutes to get a kid's ice cream. When we raised it at the 55 minute mark we were told there was an error with the printer and then it took another 15 minutes to get the ice cream. It took a similar amount of time to get a couple of drinks which we were then told they had to go and get the ingredients. At no point were we offered anything to compensate for this. I'm not sure if there is a manager working? To top it off after waiting over an hour to get a chicken Caesar salad a staff member attempted to take it away after 15 minutes while we were mid meal. It's a shame because it's a lovely location.

A group of 4x of us decided to have a late breakfast we have enjoyed our selves there be fore this was yesterday 2 of October we ordered 3x meals only 2x arrived and we re half eaten while still waiting on the third l looked downto see it on the warmer which it sat there for a good 5 minutes until l went to enquire about it 2x of the staff were in convacation with one of their friends by the look who came in from the street when l asked about the meal l was met with we will bring the tone was not good l felt they showed lack of customer care the food a bit cool was ok

Had dinner in the bistro with family. bar service was nice and friendly. Food was lovely. Waited half hour for food to be served which isn\'t too bad for a reasonably busy Thursday night. What I didn\'t like was one of our meals never came out, and when questioned we were told it\'s on its way. Another 10 mins past with no meal and everyone else finished we asked again. No apology, just another 10 minute wait until we got our remaining meal. Other than that everything was nice, but for that one reason we will choose another place to dine next time.

Went in for a coffee today, which was and always is, superb. But it's the service that needs mentioning. A waitress named Kobe-Lee served me and shook me immediately out of my bad mood. She was so welcoming and happy and you got the sense that she not only liked her job but was born to work with people directly. Her good nature and accommodating attitude literally re-directed my day.

And as already mentioned, the coffee here is fantastic. Sometimes getting coffee at a pub is risky. Not at The Esplanade. Creamy, hot, delicious. I'll be back again for sure.

I went the other night with my girlfriend; we were very well looked after and had a lovely girl named Jorja serving our table. She was incredibly friendly and super welcoming, which made me enjoy my visit. I tried the salt and pepper squid, and it was absolutely delicious. I thoroughly enjoyed my time there. This is going to be a regular spot for me.
