Superb venue and the Function Manager Rod and Co-ordinator Shannon could not have been more helpful and attentive with our Wake. Truly beautiful finger foods [they have an extensive menu from which you can choose savoury and sweet]. The Bayside Room was beautifully appointed with the big picture windows out to the sea, infusing the room with light. Thoroughly recommend the Brighton Beach Hotel.

My family has recently conducted a mental health fundraiser event at the Brighton Beach Hotel and cannot speak more highly of the amazing support and service provided by the whole function management team in delivery this very successful event. The venue provides great parking and the function rooms are amazing with great views, atmosphere and flexibility of set up to suit any occasion. The staff were so professional, obliging and demonstrated great flexibility in addressing all of our requirements with a highly customer centric approach. I have had compliments from guests attending the event on the quality of the food and the attentiveness of the staff. I can highly recommend this venue for any functions and events. Thank you so much Daniel and Shannon and it has been an absolute pleasure working with you on this and for all of your help and support in making our event a success.

My wife and I have just enjoyed a magnificent meal at this Hotel. I enjoyed the eye fillet cooked medium rare with peppercorn sauce. Best I've had in a long time. At $36 it included 2 sides and a garden salad. I had a baked potato with sour cream and chives. Piping hot and mouthwatering. The side of steamed veggies were also perfectly cooked and served hot. My wife loved the salt & pepper calamari with chips and salad. Awesome. The staff we met were very helpful and full of recommendations. We will be back and will be bringing friends. Thanks to the chef and staff for a great experience. Now for a walk on the beach.

Pizza was fresh, chips were crunchy , mashed potato was creamy

Hotel is easy to get to with parking right outside the door. The view is amazing from the restaurant. The food is very reasonably priced and great value for money. The service needs to be improved as only two of the three meals ordered came out together and there was a considerable wait for the third meal. We had to ask where it was!

Terrible first time trying this place with exact 40mins wait. others came after me ordered same food but they received the dish first.
??"?Kid 2xburgers meal with strawberry topping & water BUT (burgers were too dry, Chips tasted weird dried & hard undercooked, NO topping and NO water)

The morrocon lamb salad was INCREDIBLE. Perfectly cooked and seasoned, couldn't put my fork down!
Fast and very lovely servers. The beer garden was stunning over sunset and the heaters kept us warm outside.
The inside was classic pub, with pokies and a little bar with knowledgeable bar staff. Will go again for family dinners!!

Purely basing my review on my Sunday afternoon drinks. Have yet to try the food so can't judge on that department. But overall this place has become one of my favourite places for a sit down drink.

The venue has its own parking which is highly underrated, as most street parking in the area is limited and paid parking. Big win already.

The venue is quite big and spacious, every time I've come here I have not need to book and been able to find a table easily. Each table has its QR menu so ordering is easy. The chips for $7 is quite good and plentiful. I usually order a jug of Stone & Wood Pale Ale for $25 which is well priced.

We went to dinner at Brighton beach hotel as I'd heard the views were spectacular and I was craving a classic steak sandwich. The views were certainly nice but the venue itself was absolute pensioner central so a strange sort of atmosphere. Particularly as there was a vast contrast between the 80 years plus majority clientele and the 21st happening in the beer garden.

I ordered the calamari entree and the steak sandwich main, both of which were very average. We were missing cutlery and our water never turned up so the service wasn't much chop either. Wouldn't go back

This review is mainly about the food. The actual pub staff are nice. Good drinks nice pool table. The food use to be good but since it's changed hands the food is a massive let down know. I had the caesar salad they didn't have grilled chicken available, so I had the karage chicken it was ok but had better els where. My partner had the chicken schnitzel, the coleslaw was lacking flavour my partner said it'l was Average

Thank you so much Leanne & team for hosting our wedding on 4/2/23. We had our ceremony and reception upstairs and it was the perfect amount of space for our 54 guests to spread out, eat, drink and dance. Leanne made sure the entire day was perfect from bringing me up to the bridal room before the ceremony, ensuring my bridesmaids and I had a great entrance to the ceremony and then putting some finger food aside for us afterwards.

The timing of the reception was spot on with guests being fed hot meals quite promptly. She made sure our DJ and photobooth guy knew where to set up and chased my cake when it didn't arrive on time. I never had to look for Leanne, she was always there just making sure things were going well.

The venue itself is really nice with the perfect view from the balcony. Many of our guests went outside for photos, especially at sunset. Overall the venue is great value, and we were so happy to find a place that already looked good inside - we just brought a welcome sign, and some flowers and candles for the tables. It was so convenient to have the ceremony and reception in the same place as well. We have had nothing but compliments from our guests on how comfortable they were, the food and drinks, the location and great vibe.

To celebrate our 3rd engagement anniversary, we went for dinner at Brighton beach hotel today. I personally liked the Customer service but I did not enjoy the food and the location on the courtyard.

There is a lot of sitting space on the ground level however not much space upstairs. We ordered Veg Pizza and Salad. Veg pizza had a lot of cheese and pesto whereas Salad was a bit blend.

Looking at positives, Hotel has been located opposite brighton beach which allows you to have a nice view of the ocean.

Went to the BBH with family - overall an excellent experience.
Tasted quite a few meals - all were very good.
Cheeseburger was delicious - one of the nicest I've ever had and that includes eating a lot in America. Tasty steak pizza was fresh with a crispy base, the beer-battered fish fillets were piping hot and really lovely. Snapper was very good too. All meals were very generous size with reasonable prices and a magnificent view!

Porterhouse steak with garlic & truffle butter & salad & chips! Delicious almond latte delicious but forgot to take photo before drinking. Additional restaurant was overlooking the beach!

Fabulous experience! This hotel is part of my local neighbourhood, but in 21 years of living here, I've never eaten here. The food was wonderful - tasty and fresh. Serves were reasonable, and the prices were good. The view of the bay is spectacular, and it was lovely to be able to show that off to my Tasmanian friends! The waiters were more than helpful, even taking some photos for us and preparing some Martinis in a special way! 5 stars all round, and I'll definitely be back soon!

Me and my missus are visiting Melbourne from Sydney and we are doing a self driving Holiday, on our way to Phillip Island we took the scenic view as as we saw this Beautiful place right in front of the beach we got so excited cause we were starving.
We ordered the chicken burger and the meat pie.

The looks of the food were good but oh dear lord the smell and the taste of the pie was very unpleasant as it was obviously been defrosted after being in the freezer for ages for sure the crust was hard but oh god I was disgusted the rest of the day, (don't know if anyone has ever eaten something that's been for too long in the freezer but this stanked exactly like that,off) the mash potato was bland and nothing special the peas I bet were frozen too, the chicken burger was a bit more bearable but it was delivered on red bun as "they had ran out of normal buns" it was obvious that it had been frozen too because it was crumbling all over the place... I didn't wanna make a fuzz cause we are on holiday and honestly we don't need to argue or stress in any way shape or form but as we had to continue I just eat it, I also didn't want my missus to feel stressed or bad as she googled this place and she liked that it had an ocean view.
Prices are exorbitant considering the quality of the food in this place.
Bartender guy was also arrogant and unhelpful.

Shame on the chef and management of Brighton Beach Hotel it actually looks like a high end place for wealthy people
But beware and come here at your own risk.

Lovely spacious venue with great views and wonderful staff. The food is standard pub fare executed well.

Tip: Book a table by one of the windows or (if the weather is good) in the sheltered outside area.

Good simple food for a late lunch on a Sunday.
Trio of dips needs more bread.

Everything we ordered was 10/10, even enjoyed a couple nice drinks while watching the sunset from the beer garden. It was a lovely night and the place had friendly staff, highly recommend.

I have just had a fantastic seniors lunch !! It was so delicious! and waitress Anna was so attentive & kind !Anna made my booking when I phoned a few days ago .. a booking for 2 by the window, the day after my birthday. All was perfect (except my friend had to cancel at the last minute) , so I ate alone but not lonely .Amazing food, special attention by Anna (who remembered making the booking even) ,and beautiful sea views ensured a lovely birthday memory !!

Met with a group of friends today here and had a fantastic afternoon. Staff were so attentive & friendly and although the food took a while it was obvious with the amount of other people here that it would. Food was worth the wait though I definitely recommend any of the pizzas. Beautiful views of the bay and such a fresh vibe. We couldn't think of a better spot to spend a Sunday afternoon

Was there for a function. Food was delicious, service great )despite being a function) and wait staff friendly. Only concern I have is there is no lift for disability access.I understand it is an older building and they didnt have them that it would be great if they could accommodate this somehow

For what could be a great pub due it's location on the Esplanade and beach proximity, it's falls flat. Very limited tap beer selection (1 heavy & 1 mid), and no craft available at all, tap or bottle/can. There's an upstairs that is completely unutilitised which would offer amazing views of the bay.
Just another average pub, but in a fancy location.

Celebrated our engagement in the outside beer garden area and it was absolutely perfect. Lee was an absolute pleasure to work with - answered all of my questions without hesitation and replied to emails in a timely manner. The venue was beautiful and the food was delicious. Linda was helping us on the day and she was fantastic! All of our guests commented on how helpful she was and how she made sure everyone was looked after. Hosted my 21st here and the team were incredible! They set up the tables and decoration so wonderfully, and added extra balloons for free! Lee always replied to my emails so quick and was very patient with us. Thank you again, we truly enjoyed celebrating our 21st here.

Great location, the view across the road of the bay is good from all the tables. If it's warm the outside tables are often vacant. Service could be better but the food was very good and reasonable price.

We had a private family function at the Brighton Beach Hotel on 25 March 2021 and were so impressed with the venue and staff Flora and Linda who looked after us and were simply amazing. They went above and beyond to ensure that our function ran smoothly. I can't praise them enough. The food was first rate and dealing with the functions manager, Lee was delightful. He was so helpful, patient with my elderly parents, kind and professional. Highly recommend it - lots of different spaces and options available too!
