I just had the most amazing meal and service from the lovely staff at the Emu, the portions were really generous, I had the chicken schnitzel which was cooked perfectly! Shanaya who served me was so lovely and personable, very attentive to my partner and I, she was great to chat to. A real asset to the team! We will be back!

Was looking forward to a nice meal. Had the burrito bowl. The con carne was gluggy and cold. The guacamole was brown.
The woman working behind the bar gave us our drink after our meal arrived. We were waiting 10-15 mins for our meal and there were was only about 5 small tables there. Felt like we were an inconvenience to her. Can't say I'll be going back again. We paid $24 each for a burrito bowl .

I have been dining at The Emu hotel for Three years and in that time prior to this review i would have given it an average of 3-4 stars on all things considered,

However having had a break and returning after 6 months I am delighted to tell you the Emu has lifted it's quality and service considerably, I was greeted warmly and with renewed energy, I was served promptly and with consideration.

Upon the end of the reasonable wait for my meal I was given a very well presented platter in that of the Carnivore and I have to tell you if want variety or to share then this meal is for you, best of all it was cooked to perfection and with care.

In short dear people of The Emu hotel, I thankyou for your experience and for taking your past mistakes and Honing them into your current success.

Dear fellow patrons it is time to come back to the restaurant and feast and enjoy.

We were welcomed with pink balloons, flowers and a gift pack for each mum which was a lovely surprise even though it was Mothers Day. A mothers day menu on pretty paper and all this made dinner very special. The salmon was amazing as was the mushroom gravy on the snitty. Overall a good pub meal served quickly and early to celebrate mothers day with our 90 year Mum who likes early dinner.

Had the loveliest lunch today for Mothers Day today! The service, food and atmosphere was great! Thanks for the special gift and bubbles! Will be coming back again xxx
