Don't bother eating there if you're plant based/vegan. Ordered 2 eggplant parmi's and it's $10 extra for vegan cheese!!! Surely they're saving money serving up eggplant instead of meat based choices. So I asked for no cheese, then the meals came out with no sauce. Had to wait for the sauce and by the time it came out the meal was cold. Also the salad definitely had a dairy based dressing all over it ???' I've been going there for a long time as I live down the road but never again.

Great venue to have a cosy evening with beautiful food. Value for money. As a chef myself I tend to look for a good satisfying meal that is clean cooking with no after taste. Yes this hotel meets the criteria.

The food, wine and service was terrific. It was a great night of food and paired wines. I felt a little rushed and also some soft furnishings may have softened some tables that became loud towards the end of the night. Perhaps brightening the room may have been another solution to maintaining a more relaxed ambience.
I would recommend such dinners to my friends as it was also recommended to me.

We went for dinner last night and it was fantastic, our waitress (I didn't get her name) was very polite and the service was prompt! I had the Vietnamese pizza which is to die for! One of the best pizzas I've had! The atmosphere was very pleasant, even though it was busy it wasn't loud at all and we could have a conversation easily. We will be back!

Rather dismal to say the least. The lack of service and average meal was a disappointment. There was also hardly a soul. This may be due to the food/service or the 10% public holiday surcharge. Or perhaps the customers lost their tables for being more than 15 minutes late? Despite the price hike for a public holiday seniors menu was not available (as we all know seniors are hard to cater for and don't like to go out with their families on long weekends). They also turned the lights off on us perhaps mistaking the place as being completely abandoned which would be an easy mistake to make. Whatever the managers are doing it is clearly not good. But, we will be back..When it goes under new management.

Do yourself a favour and save a few bob. A local fish and chip joint will be just as good and half the price.

Food was AMAZING. Best vegan schnitty i've had in Adelaide, great portion size & very tasty. Woody grill was also great mix of flavours that compliment eachother. Side salad was yummy but difficult to eat in that small bowl (cutting up the lettuce would have helped). Overall extremely happy with the meals.

Service could have been better (waited in line for a while, only 2 staff on and neither of them were in any hurry to attend to customers) and didnt get table water.

Had a yummy meal at The Woodcroft Hotel. Went there for the $12 Schnitzel night, but then saw the Lamb Shank and couldn't go past it. It was divine. The meat fell off the bone and was so tender. And my partner enjoyed his Woody Burger. Maybe next time we will try the Schnitzel.

Really enjoyed the atmosphere, food and setting of this establishment. The meals were big and delicious, did not leave hungry that's for sure. 12 hour brisket was really tender, and good price for the size, very happy with my choice.

Whether you're at the bar or in the dining hall, the atmosphere at The Woodcroft Hotel is warm and welcoming. The service is fantastic, the staff are friendly and always give you their full attention and will do what they can to assist you.

I've been here several times attending different events that have run smoothly thanks in part to the service provided and the staff assisting. I have also attended casually with friends and have loved the range of alcoholic beverages on the menu. I know I will gladly go again and will always suggest The Woodcroft Hotel to friends looking for somewhere nice to go for a meal, or even just a few drinks.

Woodcroft Tavern has improved over the last few years, with food that is nice and consistent. Recently had their nacho bowl with brisket. Brisket is amazingly tender and tasty. Only feedback is it's meant to be nachos and I know it's a 'bowl' but needs some more corn chips just to enjoy ut that much more. But lovely none the less. Awesome craft beers that are changed regularly.

The Soggy pizza doesn't do it for me I'm afraid. Brisket is lovely but the fish and chips greasy. Dined here many times over the years and haven't been back after the soggy pizza.

Awesome pub with great bistro area with some of the best food I have every had at a pub.
The live music in the barn bar gave it a great vibe and fun place to be.
The staff were fantastic as well.
All in all a great night out for a reasonable price.
Would highly recommend this place.

It had been a long time between drinks- 10 years in fact! Great makeover - quality fittings and space a plenty.
Very warm welcome from all staff who tried very hard to make our experience a good one and by and large it was.
Reasonably broad specials menu as well as the standard summer menu. Seniors menu a bit ordinary.
Ordered items arrived promptly and in plentiful serves. Quality, flavoursome and good very good value. Drinks well priced as well.
The only negative was the men's toilet - plaster gouged off above the men's urinal and the usual graffiti. A pity this hadn't been fixed.
However, a five star experience well worth another visit soon.

The Woodcroft Tavern is a lively and eclectically decorated establishment that has a wonderfully welcoming atmosphere.

The staff here are accommodating and polite with friendly smiles. They will look after you properly and the food here is delicious with fast serving times and value for money. Highly recommended for a quiet dinner with the family or for a memorable date night
