Partner and I had dinner tonight, steak, chips and salad. AMAZING. Ordered rare steak, and it came RARE, chips golden and crunchy, and I never eat the side salad, but this one was delicious! (A chip fell in the dressing, and the dressing was actually really nice, which enticed me to eat it). The service was lovely friendly, the area was spacious and clean and inviting, and there was a kids area and outdoor dining which looked lovely. We were just about to move outside but the meals came out rather quickly. Being a 6pm on a Sunday night, and the quality and price of food, I was expecting it to be more busy. Great atmosphere, will definitely be coming back, though it's a fair way to travel for us from Loganlea.

Super friendly staff make you feel welcomed! We've come twice now and absolutely enjoyed the food both times. Restaurant quality, huge servings, low prices. Will be back, thank you!

If their "nothing over $20" menu still has your hip pocket feeling hesitant, they also have a "nothing over $15" menu. Team that with a big open dining hall plus another outdoor section, add a decent kids play area, and you have a pretty ideal place for family friendly meetups.

That's exactly why we chose this venue for a catch-up with some friends visiting from interstate. Bonus being it was roughly halfway between our homes.

It's a pretty chill vibe here, with free seating and counter service including buzzers to let you know when your food is ready for collection. Quite happy with our meal and the overall dining experience here, so will add it to our rotation.

Our order:
* smokey bbq (pork) ribs, $20 - served with fries or mash and salad
* rump steak 300g, $20 - served with fries or mash and salad. Choice of sauce - mushroom, peppercorn, diane, or gravy
* fish bites (kids meal), $6

Great place! Wonderful, friendly staff - we went for lunch and it was an excellent menu with nothing over $20! Large dining area with full amenities. Children's playground, Al fresco dining option very open and clean space. Would recommend for anyone looking for great value food, drinks and service! 10/10

Great value for money meals and tasted great!

Visited for the first time tonight and can confidently say this will be our new spot! Meals were absolutely delicious, staff were all friendly and welcoming, facilites all super clean and the kids area is huge! Allowed us to feel like we were on a date night whilst our little one played, popping his head out every now and then for food. Highly recommended

Since new management has gone downhill. For the last 5 years used to go there at least once and many weeks 2 or three times a week for lunch or dinner. Since new management the food quality has gone seriously downhill. Some of the cooking has been downright terrible and 2nd rate. Pity as used to be good and handy to us as only just over the road. Plus the staff used to be friendly where a good deal of them are surly and obviously do not want to be there.

My family and I celebrated my Grandma's 99th birthday here. Haven't been for many years, but we will be back, because we all had amazing meals. Not just your average food, great portions, fresh, tasty, value for money. The chef's should be applauded! The staff were friendly and helpful and made my Grandma feel extra special. Highly recommended.

Awesome venue, great tucker, professional service from all staff, including Daniel.They always have the fights showing, super clean and relaxing atmosphere.

First time there to have a feed for lunch and it went down well. Tavern is well laid out, clean & tidy. Staff were great. You have Celebrations connected if you need take aways. Seems to be enough parking. I'll be back there again.

5/12/2020 - Had to update my previous rating down from five star, the avocado and feta smash was disgusting. That meal should be stricken from the menu for how bad it is. Found the customer service was lacking.
