We enjoyed visiting the central hotel Stanthorpe tonight. The decor was beautiful and staff friendly. So many menu choices. We ordered the Amigo Parmi with salad and chips and a half pork ribs with vegetables and mushroom sauce. Our meals were delicious.

Absolutely one of the best places we have eaten definitely worth the 5***** and more. 10/10 Staff/Food/Atmosphere/Price/Serving Size. We will be back

Had a lunch outside on the street yesterday. Lovely watching the people go by about their business. Until two bees liked the smell of my ginger beer. But that's besides the point. The meal was good. Steaks were a bit over cooked sadly. Asked for med well and a med. Got well done and med well. The well done was half the size from overcooking. Sauces, salads and vege and chips all good. Timing was a bit slow and if steaks had been cooked quicker would have been better timing possibly. Lastly our meals were given to others and we had to yell across three tables that they were ours. Other than those criticisms we'd go back. Love the restoration on the outside of the building too ??'?🏼

The photo doesn't do it justice but I'm in a different regional township or major city for work every week and have eaten a lot of pub and restaurant meals - this was outstanding and I have to say, one of the best steaks I've had in the ENTIRE country.. perfectly cooked and seasoned, beautiful veggies that were seasoned and cooked just right (no beige boiled veggies here) there were beans, broccolini, carrots and cauli thrown in a little butter salt and pepper and these little details make all the difference from your average pub steak meal.. everyone of the staff here were so attentive and lovely, meal and drink arrived super quickly and I really enjoyed my meal in a peaceful atmosphere. The standard here is exceptional 🌟 I'll be back for the rib fillet with mash veg and mushroom sauce next time I'm in town!

This place was pumping on a Sunday night with loads going on and a great local atmosphere. We popped in for a meal after a day a the wineries and the meals were huge.

Great taste and even better service, we were happy with the choice of options on the menu and with the flavour of the food.

The bar also has a large range of beers on tap so we enjoyed some of those too.
