One particular male barstaff member is quiet rude. Does not smile and has no customer service skills. I put a keno on, he almost threw it at me. I thanked him 3 times, he sneered and looked away.

Stayed there on a Saturday night and great room with amazing location, easy check in, upper level rooms with easy after hours access only thing is on street parking with metered spots, but 1 min walk to loads of food and shops cool location and the best Showers of the trip

Neat, very clean. Simple, basic. Everything you need and nothing you don't. Shower quite small, would be very difficult if you were tall or stocky. Despite the pub and pokies downstairs the room was very quiet. Location is excellent with everything within easy walking distance.

Honestly a great little hotel. Rooms are lovely and clean, great location situated behind a large shopping mall, can get to the harbour in less than 5 mins.

Highly recommend for solo trips for business or of the like.

Happy to say my husband and myself had an excellent three night stay at central hotel Hobart. The location was fantastic, right in the centre of Hobarts CBD close to everything required. Restaurants, shops, nightlife, bus terminal, and only a short stroll to Salamanca precinct. The staff are very accommodating and friendly and the rooms are surprisingly larger than we expected. We found our room to be clean with Room service daily replacing all the towels and toiletries. Overall we were extremely happy with our stay and would definitely recommend this hotel. Excellent value for money we will be returning in the future. Thanks again for a really nice stay in Hobart.
